As a military veteran I am very familiar with NavyFCU. I have been a member for years. I don't know what happened to this credit union but it is NOT the Navy Fed I became part of. They advertise that their focus is on the veteran and helping us achieve our goals and give great products to those who served. Well I can start a laundry list of everything they DON'T do to support their commercials and "focus on the those who serve". Instead you have a financial institution that is focused on one thing only THEMSELVES! They are preying on active duty and prior service members to increase their bottom line and profits all while fleecing their credit union members and providing lackluster if not down right poor service. The ONLY thing this Credit Union does decently is deposit check and their phone service team is pretty nice. Other than that their lending teams, business banking teams, and any other service team you would expect to provide superior service and assistance is far from "superior" and frankly just a sorry sad sack excuse for "financial services". Save your time, your money, your effort, your expectation of a credit union that actually cares for their members and GO ELSEWHERE! Navy Federal Credit Union may have served the service members, veterans, and their families once upon a time.now they serve themselves PERIOD hard stop!

I have had the privilege of banking at NFCU for 15 years, and I say this with the deepest respect, IF YOU HAVE ONE SINGLE NEGATIVE REMARK ABOUT THIS CU. PLEASE PLEASE GO TO BANK OF AMERICA. WELLS FARGO.or ANY OTHER bank of your choice! I would have to write a book of the times these amazing people went ABOVE AND BEYOND. (yes, retired navy) when I read a negative review I know in my heart this is some person who is an A-hole in their dismal life.does this sound harsh? Perhaps, but I am 63 and HAVE banked at 90% of every single commercial bank and have the scars to prove it! IF YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHANGE TO NFCU.and you do not change. YOU DESERVE WHAT YOU GET.poor service, people who do not give 2 cents about your problem.and lost in the shuffle.and that is the good part!

As a Navy Veteran I opened my account here to take advantage of their advertised mortgage rate of 2 percent. They quoted me 4 percent which I passed on and got my VA loan from a DAV mortgage in Fort Myers. It was easy, on time and at the rate promised 2.45 percent. Also still don't have my initial deposit back from the credit union as they were concerned about fraud on the deposit. Your experience may be different but mine says don't bother. They are no friend to veterans.

Katerina the front desk receptionist was very kind and helped with me all my needs. She even called me to make sure I received the important documents I needed by mail. A great example of customer service.

. I have IRA and ROTH not happy at all with the two advisors to whom I entrusted to manage my portfolio. They have never (NEVER) reached out to me since day one. I was just a number and at the end of the day (THEY'RE BANKERS)! I am in the process of rolling over to Fidelity, I checked both Vanguard and Fidelity and will take MY hard earned money elsewhere. Lazy man. Lazy! Riding the Covid wave.working from home doing nothing

I'll never understand why it's so difficult to withdraw MY MONEY. Had to explain to 3 different employees about a withdrawal from my account but for whatever reason they kept trying to get me to do a cash advance. Why do I need a cash advance if I have the money in another account? I literally had to walk out because I was so frustrated with the last clerk because she kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain what I wanted to do. After gathering myself I walked back in and explained to the 3rd clerk exactly what I said to everyone else and the situation was resolved.

Ms. Bobbi have horrible customer service skill. I don't know why they would allow this lady to work for them. The moment I walked up she had an attitude for no reason she is very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone.

I've been using nfcu for almost 10 years and they're absolutely great. I recently needed to buy a vehicle from a private seller and I needed a few changes to my loan. The staff at this branch was great, and went above and beyond to help me.

I've never had a single bad experience with this company.

If you were ever in the service this is the only place to bank. The best interest on CD's in the past and now the only one giving. 5% interest on Money Market. Doesn't sound like much but all the other credit unions give little, if nothing in interest on your money. Real friendly personal. I highly recommend this credit union.

This is not my normal branch, but I made a check deposit at their ATM after work on a Friday and I unknowingly didn't complete the proper steps for what I needed done. I placed a call, they explained to me the issue and explained they had already retrieved the check from the ATM and were fully prepared to service me when I walked in the branch hours later.

Review is for Navy Federal as a whole, not specific to this branch. Navy Federal has gone consistently downhill since late 2019. The employees are poorly trained and provide terrible customer service. I've had issues related to auto loan and mortgage. Additionally there are very frequent issues with their mobile app. It's 2021 and NFCU thinks its acceptable to just tell their customers to use the web browser instead. Take your business elsewhere cause NFCU definitely does not care about their customers or doing their job correctly.

The manager needs to review what is considered a face covering to better assist customers at this location! Face covering = face covering. If there is room for interpretation, then there should be room for WRITTEN clarification.

I set my account up with Navy Federal online but visit this branch often. They live up to the Navy Federal standard of the best customer service available anywhere. Staff is always friendly and polite. Could not imagine banking anywhere else.

To whom it may concern,

It's a shame that Navy Federal Credit Union continues to lie to their consumers. As a Disabled Veteran Sole Proprietorship I would appreciate the truth from the beginning, not hamstrung along and told lie after lie. This is a disgusting way to conduct business and a immoral way to treat your consumers. Although I have reached out for help the last 3 weeks, Navy Federal Credit Union has failed time after time. You never know what the next Supervisor or Associate is going to tell you, miss information on top of blanket lies and statements. I unfortunately can not close my accounts with this financial institution, but I can make sure that my Veteran Community is well aware of the way this Financial Institution treats their consumers and Veterans alike.
