Navy Federal Credit Union reviews
16The best bank I’ve ever had. My Mom had to refer me. They’ve helped me retain an excellent credit score and they represent me in taken care of fraudulent activities and reimburse me for them.
I have been a NFCU member for over 30 years I have visited them all over the world and the one on East Colonial is a great place and amazing customer service.
Why are the Drive-Thru wait time so long?
This is ridiculous! Waiting in line for over 30 minutes!
I used to boast to my friends about navy federal accounts and tell them if they don’t have them and have a family member in the service.they should. Recently the interactions I’ve had in different channels has not been good. The drive thru at this location takes soooo long. I had an hour lunch break turn into 5mins because of the tellers incapability to have a sense of urgency. I personally work for another credit union so I know policies and fed regulations. Yesterday I deposited a check of $4500. I’ve been with navy federal for 4 years, I had enough in my account to cover the check, I have an active credit card as well. They didn’t want to release any more than $225, they explained my check will be placed on a 5 business day hold. Mind you, regulation CC requires any deposits in a checking account you get $225 that day and up to $5225 the second business day. When I asked why they were holding it for so long they said they don’t know where the check is coming from and can’t confirm it. The following day I open my app and see my account negative? ! They placed a hold on my account for the amount of the check TWICE holding all my funds in my account from my paycheck because of a check I deposited. I’m not happy with navy federal’s service and customer care lately. Who knows, at least my credit union I work for cares about their members.
I was waiting in the drive through line for 20 minutes and no one serviced me, when they finally sent the tube down there was no greeting or anything like that. Very unprofessional.
Been with nfcu since 1983 great bank, great service. Can be longer lines close to pay days.can improve on this
I have been using the Navy Federal Credit Union since 2009 and have never had them charge me a penny. Most of my Banking services are done online with a few trips to one of many branches. Since the new Security Protocells have been introduced there are some access issues but there are ways around that.
The worst credit union to apply for mortgage.
A "mortgage loan official", have not trained at all.
Scammers might be working here.
Made a deposit this very night at the drive thru ATM, and before it counted my money, it decided to freeze. Red flag there. Called customer service, they were acting like i was too blame for the ATM acting up. I was told to just leave without my card or the money i attempted to deposit.
I wish my mortgage wasn’t serviced here. I’m here for the second time this week and their systems are down. Last month I was here for over seven hours in one day trying to get my hurricane damage check from the insurance company endorsed. How can they conduct business this way?
Customer service is terrible wish i knew the name of the teller.never had problems with them just one specific teller at this location.she lied and told me i couldn’t withdraw money from my account i proceeded to make the withdrawal from the atm.
The people her are always friendly, and quick to help you out. Weather that is through the drive through or going inside. This is the place I go to all the time!
This navy federal location is fantastic! Amazing staff and always fast and friendly service. Highly recommended!
The Navy Federal Credit Union website was promoting a special interest rate of 3% for a CD account, so I drove over there to inquire. After speaking with one of their account specialists, I opened an account. About a month later I received a letter stating I am going to lose my "special rate" because I do not have a direct deposit set up. No one told me about a deposit, and I do not appreciate their catch 22 bait-and-switch tactics.
Always friendly service who will take the time to answer your questions and make sure you have all of the information you need for managing your accounts with them. The exit from the location is the only tricky part if you need to get on Colonial back to Alafaya. You either have to cut across another parking lot to get to the exit with a steep hill (not recommended if you have a car with very little ground clearance) or you have to get across four lanes of traffic quickly to make a U-turn.
