Neptune Flood reviews
9Horrible policies. They call you well in advance of renewal and even after you state time and time again you will not proceed. They will NOT refund your policy, even if it causes a duplicate coverage. Good luck with your Home Escrow account!
I did my research on flood insurance, and it almost seems like the fine print keeps you from collecting the benefit unless you and your neighbor are flooded. If you don't live in an area with a history of flooding, it may not be worth getting.
Neptune is unwilling to cancel my policy and refund at a prorated rate. They sent me a list of "valid reasons" to cancel. I've sent them proof for their reasons. The rep that I dealt with was not helpful at all. He made it abundantly clear that they do not intend to refund the remainder of my policy.
They still haven't sent anyone out to look at the flood damage and the septic system. Give us phone numbers with only an answering machine. Not very good customer service or support.
Look forward to getting coverage from Neptune Insurance later this month after our new home closes. Devin Sanchez Rocket Flood Agent has been answering all my questions in a timely, friendly and professional manner via email and over the phone. So happy to have found a company with great coverage for a great price. Very important when having four young boys and a new home.
It's hard to get flood insurance through the NFIP and Neptune is so easy, less expensive and covers much more than the regular Fema type flood policy.
Never in the hundreds of insurance policy's I have had, been the such a fiasco to terminate a voluntarily obtained insurance policy after a sell. You just can’t notify of them you wish to terminate and no longer need, as every other utility and insurance provider In the country, they require you to send your closing statements …as if it’s any of there business. You want to cancel, that should be it like every other company out there.
The worst insurance ever! Still waiting coverage for Ian losses
! (That hurricane was in September 22)
