Removing my son from this office. Is a mission to get an call answered, there’s no appointments but until months in 2022, the doctors are simply not helpful, simply nothing they can do but charge $$$ for a 5 min Visit that is worthless.

This Neurologist office and their staff are the worst the poorest customer service I have ever seen considering it is a specialist and children who go here need the services sooner than later they take that into no consideration take ever to deliver prescriptions medical notes anything and to make matters worse to not even apologize for it to not take your child are the worst services

Horrible staff! I had been waiting almost 7 months to see Dr. Butler who was highly recommended, now he no longer takes new patients. I even changed my sons insurance in order for him to see him. They didn't even try to help me. Rude!

You can't reach a real human to schedule appointments. Doctor's make tons of money but yet they're too cheap to keep enough receptionists. This is ridiculous.

Love this location!

My son initially started going to the Nicklaus Children's Hospital main hospital location. However, I have since learned that his original neurologist no longer practices out of that location. In addition because of this location, appointments are impossible to come by. They are booked almost 6-8 months in advance.

In trying to schedule an appointment at the Nicklaus location, I was advised that this location (the palmetto bay location) had sooner appointments and less congested. They were right!

Each time that I have had to come, I have always been in and out within 30-40mins and always called on time! Today, I was called back right at my appointment time which was 11am and was receiving my referrals by 11: 35am.

My son's nurse practitioner is amazing and has great bedside manners. She takes the time to converse with not only myself but with my son as well. I really like the fact that she takes the time to engage with him as well.

It is a little ways from my home but hey so is the Nicklaus hospital location. However for good service and being attentive to my son, I will drive the distance and besides it's a yearly appointment.

The worst service possible. They are not clear on their requirements. Waited 3 months for my first appointment. Then waited two for a follow up which they declined to see my daughter because I was 5 minutes late. (Explained that my car battery died so that delayed me) still didn’t see me and gave me another appointment for a month later. Came to the appointment to find out I needed a referral since the one they had from my first visit expired on MAY. (My follow up was for June) never mentioned that I needed one every time I will go to the office. Bottom line their excuse was that is the doctor and client to know they need referrals. I’m my experience with doctors offices they ALWAYS tell you what will you need for your appointment. Again after waiting for an hour for the referral they told me they were not going to see me and I needed to reschedule AGAIN. At this point I will never go back to that or any of their officers. SERVICE SUCKS (manager Kathy Machado) giving one star because there is no worst rating.

Will never go there again. Worst service. My daughter appointment was at 10: 00am and I made it there by 9: 40 but because her Referral didn’t make it by 10: 00am through fax I was told she couldn’t be seen and will have to reschedule for two months away and even though her doctor office said they were sending it right then they didn’t care. I stay a hour away and waited 3 months for this appt

Let me save you the trouble.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Today was my very first day here.
Let’s start with the fact that I had been waiting for this appointment for THREE MONTHS!
I thought “ok they must be great if they’re booked, right”
They stress to get there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, so I did. Apparently, my insurance needs a special form for a specialty doctor so I immediately call my sons pediatrician and have them fax it over. They do, they even sent me a photo of the fax confirmation.
The lady at the front desk of these “neuro network partners” is GARBAGE! With ZERO compassion. Apparently her fax was broken or something because she says she never got it. She then proceeds to tell me that they won’t be able to see my son since they haven’t gotten the fax and I don’t have the necessary documents.
Mind you, my sons pediatrician sent me the referral number they needed through text even sent me the document via email.
It didn’t matter to these people. Because it was now 9: 45am, exactly 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, it didn’t matter if I now had everything I needed. I start to cry. From desperation.or anger.maybe both. Its VERY hard for me to be able to take a day off of work as it is, I’m sure, for many people. I beg and exaplin that my soon needs to see someone.it’s only 15 minutes. Please I have EVERYTHING I NEED RIGHT NOW.
“I’m sorry but it’s already been 15 minutes and its our policy and the doctor just won’t see you now. I can reschedule you for 3 weeks from today. ”
WHAT? !
My son has seen a ton of specialists.and NONE of them have EVER treated is the way that these people did today.
Not to mention it took FOREVER to get an appointment.
After I walk outside, cry some more and call my husband, he tells me to go speak to an office manager or something. There has to be something that can be done. This is the Neurology office for CHILDREN, for Christ sake!
I walk in, tell them that I don’t mind waiting hours but I need to be seen today. I ask to speak to the office manager.
With the STANKEST attitude, this girl goes “The office manager was the one who said you couldn’t be seen today. I can’t guarantee you anything but Ill tell her.have a seat. ”
Needless to say that the only person who showed up was the one who said I had to rescheduled. Idek if she was the manager or not but I guess they figured I wouldn’t give up, because she let me in.
After dealing with tons of attitude from that lady, I saw the doctor. Unfortunately, doctor wasn’t the kindest with my child. He spoke very firmly and reprimanded him for being too loud and asking him how old he was. MY CHILD IS 5! I mean, what kid DOESNT ask how old everyone is? ! He’s a child. But I just wanted him to be seen and to get out of there.
The doctor did seem very knowledgeable and had plenty of experience, but I’m so sad I had such a whirlwind of negative emotions there.
This would have been the perfect place because it’s clean, convenient and close by. But I honestly don’t know if I’m going back.
If you're looking for a neuro specialist for your little one, you’re better off going somewhere else and saving yourself the headache. There are plenty of other great doctors in this city. You don’t need to deal with office staff like this and you don’t need doctors who tell you your child is like “a bull in a china shop”.

Unbelievable experience! They treat you like garbage, zero compassion, zero sentiments, they all treat your child like nothing, they don't if my child lost his test and class in the school for to be in time for the appoiment, I had a problem in my doctor referral and my doctor send they the fax immediately and they refused attend my child because I arrived 10 minutes late, before i wait one hour and when i need the same they refused attend me, i can not believe that a business like this still exists in America, later I waited 3 months for my appointment and drove almost 1 hour, what a waste of time!

Unbelievable Experience! Beware!
I cannot believe that a business like this still exists in America. You can get better service at a government office. Apparently they do not know about the internet. They treat you like garbage in front of your children or child. Over the phone if you get someone to answer they tell you that the supervisor is not there when you know they are. The entire experience feels like you are in a third world country meanwhile your paying for this? Lol. They do not even have an email to send a concern too and claim to be related to Nicholas Childrens Hospital. This will not be for long. I am 100 percent certain that Nicholas does not know yet about them. Their bad reviews do not even begin to describe the reality. The doctors are good if you don’t mind being treated like garbage while they see you. There has to be allot of other places to spend your money than here.
