I am grateful that I was referred to Neurospa in Lakeland by a psychiatrist due to having medication resistant depression.
After less than three months I am feeling well again.
Dr. Upshaw is thorough, compassionate, and informative.
The staff is excellent.
I highly recommend Neurospa.

Absolutely the best place! No need to feel you need to drive to Tampa. Dr. Upshaw is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced psychiatrists in this field and you will not find anyone better. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating - always has smiles on their faces. It feels like a family here and you’re treated as such.

I went there for the TMS treatment and it worked very good for me. All the girls that work there are so friendly that I sometimes want to stay there after my consultation is over. Dr Upshaw is also very friendly and gave me good guidance through the TMS process.

I can't say enough about Bryan Espinet. I know he is a nurse practitioner, but he does way more than just prescribe medication. I have seen countless therapists through my 65 years, and I have to say he is the best person I have talked to in the psychiatric field. He listens to me and makes me feel like he really cares about me. When I talk with him I feel like I'm talking to my best friend.

Having a local Lakeland place for TMS was a game changer for me. The facility is convenient and effective, and the staff there-Montana, Kaylee, and Olivia-make everything as stress free as possible from scheduling to the actual treatment. If you're looking for a TMS center, I would highly recommend this one.

I chose this clinic for TMS because Dr. Ups has came highly recommended. He and the clinic did not disappoint. But what truly kept me coming back and really kept me going through the course of treatment was the staff. Kaylee, Montana, and Olivia are fabulous at what they do. But more importantly (especially for this field) they are all wonderfully kind and empathetic individuals. I always felt seen, heard, and well cared for. I chose to drive to Lakeland from my home in Windermere, and did so gladly, because of the confidence I felt in the service I was getting AND because I always knew I would see a friendly and welcoming face when I got there. Today was my last treatment, and I will actually miss seeing them. Ladies, you are all wonderful, and please know you are making a difference in people’s lives every single day. <3 If you are considering TMS or any other service this clinic provides, do yourself a favor and just go already.

I just started treatment here. The girls in the office are very nice. Olivia was very helpful with the intake process. Montana and Kaylee, the techs, are great and made sure that I was comfortable during treatment.

I love this place! I had never heard of TMS and I was nervous when I first went to the office, but Montana, Olivia and Kaylee were so welcoming! Dr. Upshaw was patient and explained why the treatment was and is always willing to answer questions.

Literally the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I was cautiously optimistic at the start of the journey with TMS and I can say I am blown away by my results. This is a fantastic place! Everyone who works here is kind and knowledgeable about the treatment, and they are always ready to listen and help. Dr. Upshaw is just as wonderful and explains everything in simple terms. The actual TMS treatment is amazing, it has helped me more than I expected, and my appointments have become this time where I get to relax, get my treatment, and start my day right. It will be bittersweet when I finish as I will miss everyone here, but I cannot recommend this place enough!

NeuroSpa in Lakeland is a great place. As a Polk County native I couldn’t believe that this advanced treatment was in my own backyard.
This was my first time seeking TMS treatment for my anxiety and depression.
First the main offices helped by navigating the extremely hard waters of insurance. Better than anywhere I have ever been.
Next going to the location itself turned out to be a joy and somewhere where I looked forward to going to.
Why? Well it’s their staff. Montana and Kaylee were amazing, and Dr. P (I could have that wrong, sorry Doc,
I am Dyslexic and terrible at remembering names) but she was wonderful also.
They explained everything so thoroughly, pausing to ask if I had any Questions.
The treatment is not painful but a little loud, they offer music or you can bring headphones.
The rooms are pretty and comfortable.
TMS helped me more than anything else I have ever tried! And I have suffered with severe depression for
37 years.
For me it felt like it was actually breaking up that huge oppressive dark cloud that i’d lived under and then I was finally free.
I don’t mean that you walk around like a looney person, but you are “ normal “.
I had more energy, rediscovered my joy in doing things.
The staff was so kind and patient with me.
Never once did I feel like I was talked down to.
Never once did I feel rushed or a bother.
They made me feel welcomed. They went above and beyond.
Listening to my extremely extroverted self,
who loves to talk;
never cutting me off,
or rolling their eyes.
(amazing nowadays!)
They even put up with my singing along to music in my treatment room, wow!
Kind, caring and very professional.
Always asking about my health during treatments; sleep, physical health and mental health.
These two professionals should train everyone in the medical field!

NeuroSpa Lakeland makes you feel so welcome from the first moment! You end up spending so much time there, it was really important to me to feel comfortable. Montana was usually my tech and I literally adore her! So kind, thoughtful and fun. Truly the entire staff is wonderful. I actually looked forward to my treatments.

My treatment was the first time I actually felt a difference in my mood. Not only was my treatment so monumentally life changing but the staff was unbelievably warm, welcoming and accommodating to my overly stressed schedule. Olivia had the patience of a saint. Kaylee was always so very pleasant regardless of the ungodly time of my appointment. Montana was an absolute superhero who was always so reassuring about the changes I was going through and confirmed that the way I thought I was feeling was real and that it just meant that my treatment was working. She was reassuring and the reason I finished my treatment and now have such a better quality of life. Thank goodness for you all and the live you are improving.

Lakeland office is amazing, all of the staff and doctors are very professional and caring, very in tune with the patients needs and supportive as you go through the process and treatment. Highly recommended this office for TMS and other services they provide. The only issue I have is I can only give them a 5 star rating and not more!

Absolutely positive experience. Montana, Kaylee, Olivia, and Dr. Upshaw are great care givers. I have never felt so cared for by professionals in my whole life. They are very informative about the whole process and won't hesitate to answer any questions. I'm very happy to be able to try this new technology and I already notice how it has changed different aspects of my mental well being. It is a tremendous advance in the mental heath field.

The Lakeland office is easy to get to and very well appointed but most importantly are the people who work there. Montana and Ashley are both so caring and professional that I actually looked forward to my morning visit where I started my day relaxing & listening to my favorite music. Later, I also met Olivia. It seems that Dr UpShaw hires only exceptional people.

I love the lakeland office so much that I travel from plant city. The ladies are all so sweet and listen to everything I have had concerns about! Montana, Olivia and Kaylee are very professional.
