New Horizons of the Treasure Coast reviews
7Worst experience EVER! If I could give it a negative star, I would. The staff is rude, the employees run amuck, save one Psychologist I see, probably saw now, after being yelled at over the phone, its a nightmare! All they want is your money, they don't care about your mental health, pretty ironic. Sad, sad day. They change and delete your appointments (verified) and still try to charge you for them. Your asked to email paperwork, and give you a fake email. They are loud, mean, nasty, and talk about you in other languages! The place itself is falling apart. I was treated like I was worthless, and that means you should NOT work for mental health ANYTHING! RUN, RUN FAST! I rate this whole franchise, that's what it is, a revolving door money maker, negative stars.
This place is absolute garbage, they don’t even read blood results before sending someone home. They won’t help you get stable, and that’s their whole purpose.
I love this place! I did the 28 day program. They kept me an extra 2 days while they found me a scholarship program and a recovery home. I’m 68 yes old and have finally have a great, strong sobriety program thanks to the loving, caring counselors at New Horizons! I will be forever grateful as are all in my family and all whom love me! ️
If your kid needs mental health help do not send your kid here.the nurses and doctor are so oblivious to what your child needs.this is by far the worst mental health hospital and needs to be shut down.the staff is extremely rude not to mention my son and daughter were mistreated and not helped at all.and when your told by a nurse that she can't talk to you because she's busy and hangs up on you is downright wrong.thats why this country is so messed up cause there is not enough mental health help out there.just cause you have mental health issues doesn't mean you don't have feelings, you are still a person!
I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews on here! I moved here from New York needed assistance with MAT was blown away by their accommodations the counselors the nursing staff and the way they treated me. I’ve had nothing but a good experience there. One of my biggest fears moving to Florida was being without my medication. My New York doctor told me I was on my own and it was frightening. This place is taking really good care of me and not to mention the fact that I’m seeing an amazing therapist named Patty- and my medication is given to me for free. Very grateful for New Horizons.
Not trans-friendly whatsoever. I've been deadnamed (I have severe PTSD) and called a man over the phone because the staff wasn't trained to deal with transgender people (this is after I had requested them call me my preferred name on numerous occasions). Fix your broken system and add a preferred name and pronoun section, posers. The office staff isn't well trained to be sensitive. They have violated my right to individual dignity multiple times and done nothing about it.
EDIT: I was called a sir by the "trained" counselors on the phone in a crisis situation. This place is not trans friendly whatsoever; the LGBTQ+ friendly sticker should be removed at the front office. They do not mean it.
