If you honestly want to turn your life around this is the place for you. Negative reviews are actually needed. It's always good to point out the negative in this program but never praise the good that this program has to offered. Is your choice if you want to succeed. New Life Mission is here to help you.

I became apart of this program at the end of 2011. I graduated May 2013. It was difficult to adapt to at first but I soon realized that this was a once in a lifetime chance to get my life back on track for my family. It is a program that has rules and protocols in place to help the residents become the best versions of themselves as well as protect the staff and other residents. They provide the tools necessary to help women get back on their feet and stay there. If you are willing to put in the work, then you will be able to leave the program in way better shape than when you came in. I went in with two kids, no job, no daycare, no car, and no will to live. Within 1 month, I had daycare so I could look for a job. I was given a bike that I was able to hook a cart to for my kids so I could take them to and from daycare. It took 8 months to find a job, even with a college degree. During that time, I did chores around the campus, grew my relationship with God, volunteered at my church cleaning and did whatever was asked of me. This was the first time I ever knew what peace was. True peace and joy. I had no income for this whole time but never once was I pressured because I was doing what I needed to do. This was all in Gods timing, because lo and behold I got a call from a temp agency for front desk at a medical office. The office was within walking distance from Brevard rescue mission. Literally 2 streets over. After being at that job for 6 months as a temp, they hired me. Around the same time, our office was planning to move to another location. This worried me some because it would be much further away from my home. I kept the faith because God had been taking care of me. Just days before we were about to move offices, I was blessed with a car. Gods timing. Once I was stable, I was able to leave BRM being able to support my self and my family. Over the years, my family has been invited over for the annual Christmas caroling and other events. I was finally able to tell my story only recently. I decided to do this so that other women could benefit from New Life Mission. I just wanted people to know who they are and what they stood for. We are all human and we make mistakes. It’s ok to admit that and then learn from it and accept help that is offered or available.

I had the pleasure of volunteering for this ministry for several years. The staff and volunteers pour their prayers, sweat and tears into the women who come through those doors.

They take absued and controlled women out of a toxic situation and then take advantage of their weakneeses. They threaten your place of living on a regular basis knowing the women will cower and keep quiet. They evicted a young woman three weeks before she gave birth knowing she has no help. They did not assist her in finding alternative housing. They also constantly lie about their "90% graduation" success rate. Not impressed with where donors are putting their money in our community.

Wow. I hated reading the bad, past reviews because it is the opposite of everything I have experienced of New Life. Every person I have met at New Life is so kind and caring. You can tell the people working there want the best for the women and their children. They are working/volunteering there because they WANT to be. That being said this results in beautiful people helping out where they can. I absolutely love the concept of this organization and think they do a phenomenal job of running the place. I volunteer in the kids club and absolutely love it

Just by reading the actual comments coming from human beings who are/were in a time of despair, I wouldn't even waste my time on false teachings and false prophets like them however they shall all reap what they sow accordingly.

My entire outlook on life has been completely transformed thanks to this wonderful program. I have received the life skill teachings that I have lost along the way to progress and build a Christ centered, positive, self-sufficient life for my children and I. The staff are totally devoted to transforming our lives WITH OUR EFFORTS. This program teaches responsibility and accountability and the love of Jesus. I have seen many women graduate with 100% continued success.

This place claims to be a "Christian" run facility specifically aimed at helping mother who for a variety of reasons need help. Yet this "Christian" run facility will not hesitate to kick out a single mother, who is dealing with a nasty divorce (that the facility funnily enough said they would do anything they could to help her with) for the most ridiculous and made up reasons. Even if you adhere to their rules and program it seems if they don't like your personality, or the way you carry yourself, they will find a way somehow to fabricate a reason to kick you out. They did all of this to a very close friend of mine, and it's absolutely sickening. I can't fathom how a facility that claims to run things according to the tenets of Christ would kick someone in need of help, who again was adhering to the rules of the facility, right to the curb. That's not the "Christian" thing to do yet they had no problem doing just that. It's absolutely sickening. To any future potential residents reading this review, please tread carefully. They have no problem lying to you about what they will do and how they will help you. To the facility, I truly believe in karma and reading other reviews and listening to my friends experience I truly believe that the nasty things you've done will come back around. And your Lord can't be happy with the way you run things. Again not according to his laws, but your own made up ones. Please be better.

They display nothing of "christian". They will throw mothers and children out straight out of a hurricane. They display not one fruit of the spirit, as there is no gentleness or kindness to be had. Please, do not fall for these absolutely self righteous, unforgiving frauds.

Horrible place. They Don’t care about your well-being in anyway. They will throw you and your child out! Do not recommend at all.

Helping others takes strong will and faith. At New Life Mission your life is bound to change. Being in a new environment may be difficult for most and some may only see what immediately benefits them. We must appreciate the long term aspects of making change happen emotionally and environmentally. You have to know you want a new life, and support will be there for you. Genuine people make change happen by bringing to your attention things you may improve on. New Life Mission genuinely cares for each and every client and creates a plan to help change the cycle of homelessness in families. I appreciate all the efforts.
