New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center

We had our baseballs team party here yesterday when arriving there was a slight confusion on the details of the party Andrew and Katie jumped right in got everything In order and the party was a success thank you for the great customer service!

Lived here 18 years and this was my first time there. Very clean. Excellent restroom and changing facilities, picnic areas some of which are shaded, concessions with hot food available, very fairly priced. Lifeguards on duty.

The lifeguards in the pool area are extremely bad at their job. Most of them pay no attention to any of the children running around and literally jumping onto peoples heads. My personal experience today Left my autistic son in tears after a lifeguard Yelled at him about running up the stairs and told him he would have to be put in timeout if it was necessary to speak to him again. However he was told that it was his 3rd time being spoken to, When in reality it was the first time either of us had ever seen that lifeguard. Total and unacceptable abuse of power most likely will not visit again.

Loved it, the kids had a blast and the pool is well kept clean! The staff is friendly and lifeguards are always alert!

$6 for adults. Skate park l, gym. Indoor and outdoor basketball court. Kids pool, and two adult pools. Water slides and diving boards. Can't beat it. Love it here!

The workout room needs to be cleaned really bad. Looks like white cat hairs on the front of the treadmills. Elliptical machines have not been cleaned very well if any at all. Noticed several people do not wipe down machines after use, so make sure you wipe down the machine before using it.

Their covid-19 distancing is terrible, make you wait in line outside until someone else leaves. They should use wrist bands and limit the time in the pool for all residents that want to use it.

Great pool, water slide, diving pool, lap pool, and kids splash area for $6/adult & $4.50kid. Didnt opened till 2: 30

The skate park is like our second home. Can't wait til they upgraded it. My 8 and 4 year old loves being there.

Extremely nice people at desk start to finish. I had an after funeral get together and was a very nice place and atmosphere also.the front desk people even helped w taking in food and keeping people happy

This place is so nice and clean. A very big place for the whole family to enjoy. A kiddie pool area for babies and toddlers, a general pool area with a big slide, a lap pool and a diving pool area. There are plenty of seats and some have shade and tables. They have a consession stand too. The lifeguards are young but actually do their job well and keeping everybody safe to follow the rules.

This is one of the best facilities The City of New Port Richey has to offer to its community. The facility is amazing and has something for everyone to enjoy. Basketball courts, pool, skatepark and so much more! The skatepark is where its at for me and my son and it means a lot to us and the community.

It would be great had we not driven so far to swim only to find out the pool was closed for swim competition. It should have been posted on the web. It looked like it would be a good time.

I used the rec center for my baby shower. Everyone working was very helpful with questions, and helped make sure I had everything we needed. I highly recommend.

It's so nice to have our very own little water park at our rec center but the prices could be better. If prices were to go down I would probably change my rating

Great place to go with your kids for the day. Super friendly staff and a ton of things and activities to do.

Love being a resident my son has a great place to work out play basketball and swim.and the price is terrific. $16 a month for new port richey residents

Very nice place that offers a lot for exercising. I play pickleball as my choices. Very nice people, even for the beginner! Beginners classes available.

This is a wonderful place, so much to do. Love going with my grandson to swim in the 4 pools they keep crystal clear and clean. Water slide is great fun!

So great for the kids. Party packages available for birthdays and such. Great pools, water slides. Extremely helpful staff. Annual membership looks like a great deal if you live within city limits!
