New Tampa Regional Library

Nice library, pretty spacious. Went to this location for passports, one of the few libraries that has this available. The whole appointment didn't take too long at all, pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful.

Great library with a nice selection of books, always find something that interests me. Librarians are also very helpful and kind.

Pretty meh library and small. People here tend to be loud. I had to go to the quiet room. I only go here because it’s close to my house.

This was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a library. The selection of books is not great, which is not the fault of the library but of funding. It’s small. The staff at the counter for helpfulness Hass to be one of the worst I’ve experienced. I think they have a frustration that the library is located very close to the Pasco County line so many people come in confused why they can’t get a library card, myself included. With the attitude and unfriendly nature of the staff (Rae), Amazon will never go out of business. I was hoping to support public libraries. I’ll go somewhere else from now on.

The Principal Librarian is bar none the best in the County. She leads her team by her exceptional kindness, professionalism and knowledge. It is my honor to go there weekly. I recommend that library and The Principal Librarian as #1 in the County. Her name is Laverne Jenkins. If Ms. Laverne Jenkins were not there, I fear that library would be loud and dirty like some of the other are the County. Cheers to Ms. Laverne for being the best!

Not crowded, friendly staff. Checkout and return is streamlined. No late fees. Descent collection of books.

Technology enabled library at cross Creek Rd. Associates are very professional and courteous. Neat and clean environment.

Wally.the employee had so much patients with my friend and i. Showed us how to scan, copy, and loaned us white out.sooo much patients with us. With a smile and helping hand. Thank you sooo much Wally. You are a great employee!

This library has always been clean and never too crowded when I am there. I’m able to get a private room pretty much whenever I need.

Modern interior layout, smells always clean, bathrooms in excellent conditions, staff very friendly, professional and approachable. Offer plenty of activities to the community, easy to make books and space reservations. Located in the beautiful New Tampa. Quiet, excellent assortment of books and audio visuals. WiFi and printing service available.

4 stars for the infrastructure, staff and maintenance.
A nice building, often clean and the staff friendly and efficient.there is always somebody readily available if you need assistance.
2.5 stars for the books. Some of the shelves were empty and there is a huge waiting list for some of the bestsellers.
I was placed 97 in the waiting list for a book which is not even that new.
The kids reading section is diverse and inclusive of all communities and subjects.
That being said, I wish the library was better funded so it could invest in more books.
They really do put in the effort to give everybody a good experience at the library.
It is a wonderful way to bring in people of all backgrounds together to enjoy something they all have in common, a love for reading.

The library is beautifully but very loud. On the way out, i ask if there was a quiet room. I was shown the room. From now on, I will use the quiet room.

My little one is in tears because we tried to go today to an escape room event, but we were told at the entrance that it is an ticket based event. This detail was not clear on the flyer that we received at the beginning of the summer or on their site. We are extremely disappointed and we found the person at the door rude. Also, their children book selection is generally poor. I would not recommend this library.

Nice facility. I didn't know that they sell used books, CDs and DVDs at very reasonable prices.

My visit there showed me how horribly underfunded the system is. Over half of the shelves were empty and what was there was just a bad selection. For example, they only had 2 Steven King books and they weren't even his good ones, they were titles that had no recognition. I should have taken some pictures but even my middle school library had more books then this place. I honestly left there feeling sad for what is happening.

They have such a wonderful selection of books, DVDs, and music! They also have a fabulous used books!
The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I am in shock that a library would turn away moms and babies wanting to go to story time because there were already ten babies in the class! Today three parents/babies were turned away because the class was “full”. Gas is almost $5 a gallon. One mom takes her lunch break specifically at the time of the first class so she can bring her daughter and today they wouldn’t let her in! The teacher of the class compared it to a Hillsborough County school district classroom that caps off the number of students in each class to make the class more effective. Well I have news for you…. They don’t cap off the classroom numbers lol. And even if they did…. It’s one teacher teaching the kids. In a baby story time it’s one teacher teaching but every baby has a parent doing the work and keeping an eye on the baby. I think it’s a total shame that you would turn away parents that got their baby ready and drove all the way to story time.

This is where we are going from last 5 years.my kids love going here and they get all the books what they need.we can also place order for books you need and get it.can’t expect more
