Had a great time on this course! The distance for each basket was longer than we were used to. Loved having golf carts

Listen, I'm 100% aware that this location is not managed (greens and fairways wise) like other golf locations, but for 10 bucks to walk 9 holes by yourself without some starter bothering you about keeping up the pace and able to play by yourself without anyone bothering you is worth it. I went in the evening hours and walked the front 9. No carts left but I'm okay with that as I was planning on walking it. I had a great peaceful relaxing time out there by myself. 10/10 I will be out there again.

Old Naval base golf course turned into disc golf course. Four different routes and levels of play. Pay to play but is free on Tuesday and Wednesday if you walk it. Golf carts are available to rent. Has a pro shop but the discs are overpriced.

Owner randomly charged at us with hai golf cart to provide very aggressive 'help'.

He said that we need to yield to golfers, and even if we're putting, will need to yield to golfers who want to tee off behind us.

I asked if there was a complaint, and he very angrily responded no, and that he's the owner and what he says goes.

I mean.ok, but we were respecting the course and in good spirits enjoying our game. There was no incident and no complaints. Why the 'stern talking to'.

It got worse, he was hovering around and circling us for the next hole. When he came around again, he almost hit me with the golf cart and was clearly angry.

The conversation ended with me saying that If we are not welcome, they can refund the game and we will leave. He eventually sped off.

It was unreal. I get if we were doing something wrong, or there was a complaint, but there was none of that. I think he was having a bad day and we were the closest targets for the guy to establish his authority.

Not sure if we are going back yet. If the guy was just stressed and having a bad day then maybe we forgive and forget. I'll update my review after I figure that out.

One of the best courses in Jacksonville with plenty of options to play. It's inexpensive and well maintained. Only wish is that they moved the baskets every once in awhile.

Played golf here. Course is in much need of repair. Fairway (if you want to call it that) needed grass (weeds) cut. Greens were a little better- bumpy, but puttable. Tee boxes -well we found them. The positive was it was not over priced.
Apparently the management is interested in disc golf only.
This use to be a good course for average golfers, hope to see it brought back to playable.

It's a really cool place, they have good staff. The only thing is that they don't have any food vendors or anything related. I had fun with my friends though, and it was also my first experience.

Decent training golf course. Terrible greens. But decent challenge for mid to high handicappers
