Newberry Animal Hospital 39th Ave., Gainesville FL

I absolutely love the Animal Clinic that I used prior to my move to Gainesville, but am so grateful that the veterinarian recommended Newberry Animal Hospital. The medical care that is provided at the 39th St.location exceeds all hopes and expectations, and the warmth and loving care that the techs and the veterinarians show toward my dog, their total concern for his well being, is extremely gratifying! I would highly recommend both the traditional treatment and the holistic treatment as my fur-son has had both and responded well.

5 STARS! Everything this clinic did from start to finish has been amazing. My chihuahua had a tough surgery and they made it as pleasant as possible for he and I. I believe we were both treated with kindness and respect.

Love Newberry Animal Hospital on 39th. The staff is amazing. Dr. Stanley and Mary are excellent. They treat my fur baby with love. Zoey loves going to the vet. If you want a team that loves and cares about pets like you do-this is the place!

My dog has been going for the last 2 years, they are prompt with emergencies, love your pet and genuinely care. Take the time to explain any procedure or shot they may need and the prices are affordable. I have never felt like they have tried to sell me something I don’t need and I can tell they genuinely love animals. If I wasn’t moving cities I would stay with them forever. All vets my dog has seen have been kind and take their time. All the techs have been so friendly and helpful.

I had dentals done on 2 of my little papillons today. The front office staff were very friendly and helpful. The technician's are amazing and of course Dr. Nichole Lebo did a great job keeping my kids comfortable. Thank you too the wonderful team.

I have two pit bulls, who ruin the reputation (stigmatize) the breed has been saddled with. The staff LOVES them and my dogs LOVE them right back. This is Tyson, 92lbs, scary looking as all get out and yet the vets and techs all love on him and he loves on them too. Will recommend this place to anyone with large dogs (as long as they’re as loving as mine).

We had a wonderful experience with the 39th avenue facility for new puppy care with the puppy package and just completed all of the puppy vaccinations and visits. Dr. Phillips is so pleasant, knowledgeable, is very kind and has a phenomenal report with nervous puppy and parents. Jon and Mary were great and so caring and helpful in answering any questions and concerns. Jon demonstrated excellent care and ability to respond and answer questions readily. He even put the rabies tag on our puppy’s collar. Thank you Newberry Animal Hospital for the excellent care.

We love Newberry Animal Hospital on 39th St. The staff is so friendly and professional. We recently saw Dr. Fletcher and Kaitlyn and they were so good with our “old man” ️ I highly recommend them if you’re looking for the best care for your fur baby!

Such a great place. So friendly and helpful. We brought in our dog, Frank, for a vaccine booster and to help us navigate the very difficult & confusing process of traveling with a pet to Costa Rica.

Dr. Lebo, Jon and Sabrina made the process as effortless as possible and couldn’t have been better to work with. Highly recommend this place and this team in particular!

The staff here is great. We took our 8 year old cat here when she wasn’t feeling her normal self, and Dr. Phillips was able to figure out the problem and give us medication to make our cat feel much better. Now she is back to her normal happy self, thanks to the care she received here. Additionally, I got a new puppy, and I have never had a puppy before. When I brought in my puppy, the staff helped me sign up for the Puppy Package. Now I can ensure that my dog will be protected and vaccinated. The staff has always been friendly to me and my animals, and you can tell that all the people who work at this location are animal lovers. I would highly recommend them if you have an ill pet or a new puppy!:)

One of my cats has a history of fic and some urinary issues. On Friday, he didn't want to eat and was clearly in pain so I called the 39th location (after a referral from a friend). They made sure they got him an appointment for the next day, which ended up probably being life saving because this time he had a blockage. Everyone was super nice, and made sure to set realistic expectations with me. They got him unblocked and sent him home with me to monitor him. By Sunday morning he was eating again and acting like himself. And the appointment and treatment was significantly cheaper than the previous vet I took him to that didn't even do any procedures. Will definitely be going back with all of my cats who are due for vaccines and wellness visits. This weekend was scary and stressful, but I'm just really glad Timber is back to acting like himself.

My dog is a senior and has been a patient here since 2019. I started at the S Main St location, but switched to this location and have been going here since. My dog isn’t very easy to deal with and Dr. Fletcher is so patient and amazing with him. She is by far the best vet my dog has ever had! We always have a great experience every time he needs a check-up. Today, Jon and Kaitie were very welcoming and have a great sense of humor. They definitely know how to handle anything. If you are looking for a vet or thinking of switching your vet - don’t think twice - just go here!

The staff at Newberry Animal Hospital on 39th avenue have always been great! I am most appreciative and thankful for Sam. She and others did a great job with my pup's dental surgery. Sam was very informative in explaining what was done and what care needed to be done when we left the hospital. I am very happy with how they cared for my pup and will always recommend Newberry Animal Hospital to anyone who needs vet care!

Every single person in this office is INCREDIBLE! Starting with the receptionist Erika who was super helpful with scheduling the appointment and check-in. The technician Jon is extremely welcoming and sets the great environment for patients to discuss their pets concerns, very polite and caring to animals. Him and the Sam treated our cat with only love and respect! Dr. Lebo is a great doctor that deeply cares for the pet’s health and explains any questions and diagnosis that you leave the office knowing your pet is in the right caring hands. Thank you to everyone in the office! Highly recommend this office.

I had to get dentals on 2 of my dogs. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. They sent me a reminder a few days before with all the instructions I needed to remind me no food after 9pm and everything else I needed to know. The doctor and surgery technician 's were also wonderful. Great experience!
