Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, Sunny Isles Beach FL

Walking in my bathroom and I see a small roach which was unexpected. You can't even connect your game systems to the hotel TV cause it won't fit.

Perfect location, theres a very nice pier right across. I visited a couple months ago and the spa wasn't working! I came back after months and it wasn't working yet.

The rooms are clean although a little outdated. Visually, this is one of the smaller hotels left on the sunny isles strip but it has a lot of personality. The pool area is clean, has security guards to ensure outsiders don't wander in, and there is a wristband system for use of the amenities for added safety. There is a full poolside bar, on-site restaurant, spa, private beach, full service salon, and the front desk was extremely pleasant. As an added bonus, the private beach is situated right next to the sunny isles pier which is nice to walk. Overall, this location is great for a staycation or home base for out of towners.

Horrible experience. The manager and Felicia have zero customer interaction experience. We didn't even get a thank you at any point during our visit. We had to wait an extra hour for our rooms and we were not
compensated for the wait. The bathroom in our room was dirty and full of pubic hair. They acted like we were a bother when ever we interacted with the front desk. We will not be staying there again and neither should you.

The truth is that it was a disappointment, we chose a hotel instead of an apartment to have room service, in the 6 days they never changed the sheets, they never cleaned the room, it didn't have any service, I don't know what they call a hotel then.
If I have to highlight that the beach is beautiful.
I wouldn't choose it again.

Don't be fooled by the beautiful surroundings or the look from the hotel from the outside. This place was a nightmare. Hallway carpet smelt like mildew, bathroom were dirty, stains on the carpets and furniture, dust EVERYWHERE. My family and I were going to state a week here. That week turned out to be less than 24 hours.

Rooms on city side are a little out dated. Bed was ok, sheets and cover felt and sounded like paper. Small tv's. Couch was ugly and not comfortable. Other furniture items in the room has seen better days.

Ice and vending machines were only on the 4th floor. The one on 1st floor didn't work.

The pool area was open but under construction.

Lobby had birds, so that was cool and it was a nice lobby area.

This hotel have the worst customer service and the worst hospitality in all florida. Forget about getting any type sheets or towels not even taking out the trash from your room. The house keeping is run by haitian mafia that try to charge you extra for some towels

Delicious Italian Restaurant with Italian flavors I love Meat Carpaccio exelent, good atmosphere to share with family, friends, birthdays. Excellent service, very friendly and with a smile.
Parking is available around.

Planning a trip back hidden gem best part was being able to go to the beach at 1am. I miss it already lol

First of all I don't like leaving negative reviews however this one is necessary. My family and I have been coming to newport for several years. In the Beginning the staff was nice prices were reasonable and rooms for decent. Our vacation in 2023 is without a doubt the worst. For several days, we battle cockroaches even to the fact of them getting in our coffee cuts. The couch and carpet in the room is twenty years old. Had to ask the cleaning lady for a sheet to put over the couch just to set on it. A beer and a cheeseburger at the cabana with their tip added is approximately $30.00. I can go on, but as you can see, this is what it is. If you want to pay this and go through it Just to go to the beach, you can go to many other places less expensive and nice to go sit on the beach. Sorry, Newport, but you've got some work to mention. While trying to check out, I spoke to negative stories about the place having to be moved. To different rooms because AC Didn't work etc Please do your homework and make sure you're getting what you're paying for. Restaurants are closed, the pier is closed And the homeless are sleeping on it. Good luck, maybe they can get things turned around.

We didn't stay. They have restrictions. If you want to enjoy the beach you can't bring your own drinks.

Terrible hotel, those who work there are rude, they mistreat the customer. We had not seen the opinions, they were a disaster.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere. Location was ocean front and it was everything and then some Super happy to have stayed here. I recommend Thank you.
