HORRIBLE SERVICE, WORKERS NOT WORKING. NO ONE CARES AND THEY MAKE UP PRICES AS THEY GO. EVERYONE COMPLIANED. I WISH I WOULD HAVE SEEN THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING. TERRIBLE SCAMMING. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

If I could give this company a zero I would. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! Zero customer service, hidden charges, charge you more for having good insurance, disrespectful, unprofessional, the list goes on and on. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. EVER.

Cons: What a joke of a rental company they are. They advertise low rates, then when you go to pick up the car. They tell me I need to have a minimum liability insurance. I have Allstate full coverage for GMC Yukon xl and I rented economic car (Nissan Sentra) there They told me it was insufficient and would not rent to me unless I bought their insurance at $199 for six days. With my insurance I rented before in other city without paying more anything. The rep was very rude and unprofessional. Said to me you want the car or not. Highly do not renting from this company.

This was the most horrible experience that I've been through at a car rental place they did the bait and switch move told us $40 when we left it was $178 and they did not even want to wash the car car had huge scratches it smells like feet inside

What’s even worse is that Expedia sent me here and then they refused to help me after I asked for a refund. This place is a disaster. Don’t even consider renting here. It’s a scam.

Like everyone else posted, worse experience ever. The Staff were rude and discourteous, the place is rundown, and they up charge. I ended up paying double for the car, on top of the initial $200 prepaid through Priceline, which is non refundable. DO NOT BOOK WITH COMPANY! Pure crooks that take advantage of travelers to Florida.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. This place is just a bunch of scammers, filled with unhappy customers. Got double charged for car rental and insurance. A $300 car quickly turned into $1100. I think they were taking advantage of my boyfriend and I since were young, nobody else got charged nearly that amount. I will never be renting a car through this company ever again. Just save your time and money and rent through one of the big companies in the airport. It’s also impossible to try and get your money back, as the support email will just argue with you and they have no support phone number.

Get ready to be hard core ripped off. And do not pre-purchase insurance as they make you buy another insurance that is expensive. We prepaid $300 for our car and insurance and when we arrived owed another $1500. It was a terrible start to the trip.

Do not rent from this place. They have nothing but hidden fees and tell you, you have to pay for it. Waited almost an hour for the shuttle. I saw them changing their policy on the spot to the person next to me to force her to buy their insure. Even though she was reading them their policy. I had to get my bank involved for a refund. Stay away.

I recently had the misfortune of renting a car from Next Car, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, every aspect of the rental process was riddled with incompetence, frustration, and a complete lack of customer service.

Firstly, when I arrived at the rental location, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Despite having a reservation, I was made to wait for an exorbitant amount of time before even being acknowledged. The indifference of the employees set the tone for what was to come.

Upon getting to the counter, I was shocked that all the representative cared about is to upgrade my rental. When I refused to upgrade, he flat out denied my rental.

The troubles continued when I tried to communicate with the company's customer service. The hotline was an exercise in frustration, with long wait times and unhelpful representatives who seemed more interested in brushing off my concerns than resolving them. I was met with excuses and deflections rather than any genuine effort to address the issues at hand.

To add insult to injury, I was hit with unexpected fees and charges after refusing to upgrade and cancelling my reservation. The company's pricing structure was convoluted and seemed designed to catch customers off guard with hidden costs. What was initially presented as a budget-friendly option turned out to be a financial trap, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.

In summary, my experience with NextCar was a complete disaster. From the lackadaisical attitude of the staff to the pricing structure and hidden fees and the unhelpful customer service, this rental was a textbook example of how not to run a business. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from NextCar to think twice and explore alternative options to spare themselves the headache and frustration that I endured.

This place is a complete scam. Multiple hide fee and unexpected charges that will surprise after waiting almost 2 hours in line. This place is horrible i end up loosing 120.00 pre paid due to all the over charging at the register. AVOID THIS PLACE GO TO SOMEWHERE ELSE. AVOID HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION!

This place is a scam for sure! A nightmare to go through…so many extra fees. Would not give us a refund and wanted to charge us $50 cancellation fee. A $60 car rental turned into a $400 car rental. STAY AWAY!

This place was horrible they charged me an extra non refundable $150 for some car insurance and I have full coverage. They claimed they did not accept mine and I have a spin off of All state. We waited in line for bout an hour. My experience here tell me for now on I will rent from budget or enterprise no other of brand car rental places especially in Florida. I tried to leave no stars but goofle would not let me

The worst car rental experience I've ever had. We waited for 70 minutes for the shuttle to come and get us from the airport. We heard other people complaining they had to wait up to 2 hours. Even though we had an approved auto insurance company and could show our declaration page they still charged us a $230.00 fee to waive their insurance. The place was loaded with dissatisfied customers bonded in our disgust and dislike for Next rental. I will never use them again.

Just don't rent from them. Tried to save a few bucks and ended up paying more than double through "Mandatory" insurance they make you pay.
