Nicklaus Children's Hospital reviews
7I have been waiting here since 5: 30 AM (It is 9 AM now) and no doctors have seen my kids I have two children very sick and the person who is in charge tells me that there is not enough doctors. In my opinion that is not the patients’ problem. We deserve to get good attention.
Adult Dermatologist Appt at 9: 45am, arrived earlier into the hospital around 9: 30, then, patient waiting room at 10: 20,11: 20 still see no doctor, I think I picked the wrong place to see a dermatologist. Update: I left the office, tired of waiting.
The place is clean and beautiful. The staff very attentive but come on, more than 1h: 45min to see a doctor or anyone. You get put in a room and forgotten. I am not the only one, I can count like 5 families with the same situation. For an ED, to much.
More than 5h and $1000 later, and no exams to discover a gastritis.so disrespectful the way things goes there… it’s a shame the way they make kids wait for so long for nothing
If I can give no stars I would. It’s supposed to be an EMERGENCY room for CHILDREN … waited like 4 hours in the lobby and after the desperation of the extensive wait I ended up leaving without ever being called for a room. I ended up taking my 3 year old elsewhere.
Billing is trash. Unprofessional. Called twice and got hung up on. Had two separate issues with them for claims processed by my insurance accurately. Different information given to me the two times I successfully got through to someone out of the seven times I called. One representative answered his cell phone and told the person on the line “he would call them back in five minutes” in Spanish and rushed me off the line without helping me. Experience at the hospital was good. Wish I would have had the same experience with the billing department.
The ER physicians here (specifically Dr. Pena) are terrible, do not listen to parents and are extremely condescending. We have been sitting in ER for over 8 hours waiting for a room because they insist on admitting our child even though we KNOW its not necessary.
Never again!
