Nine Dragons Restaurant reviews
16Still dreaming about the honey chicken I had here and the mango/strawberry smoothie. It was an incredible meal. My sister and I were wandering around a packed Epcot and all restaurants had a waiting list. We stumbled in here and I admit I didn’t expect much but was glad they took us. Boy was I surprised. The food and the service was outstanding. We will go back.
We were lucky to be able to get walk in seating when all the online reservations were booked. We were so happy!
The only reason why I rated the food as a 4 star was the fried rice and noodles no one in our group loved. They all skipped them. We loved the rest of our meals though! Would eat here again but would only get white rice. Very helpful wait staff and very quick.
I’ve been eating at this restaurant for years. Every single time, the food is excellent and the people who work here are INCREDIBLY KIND AND FRIENDLY! Our family LOVES Nine Dragons and we lol forward to our next visit!
This place had been pretty reliable, but I was really put off tonight. Server disappeared entirely after ordering. App was $11 for four pieces? ! Mala entree was very salty and greasy, and really not much food at all for $28. Spicy chicken was mushy. All of it was cooked, kept warm, and just brought out for service. Really disappointing
Ambiance is pretty good. Servers are all from China which puts some magic into this place. However, service in my opinion is not up to Disney standards and decoration feels outdated. I wouldn’t be visiting this place again.
We are passholders and go to DW pretty often, but we had never tried this restaurant. The ambience is quite nice, staff was great, and the duck bao buns were decent. That’s where the positive feedback ends.
Our family of four for entrees had duck fried rice, honey chicken, kung pow chicken, and spicy honey chicken. The honey chicken dishes were seriously so sweet that we couldn’t get past the first two bites. When I say sweet, I mean like this was “dessert” chicken. The kung pow was bland and was dark meat not properly cooked (was tough and stringy). Our eldest teen had the duck fried rice and was not impressed. I tried a bite and there was zero flavor.
While we can understand that DW must appeal to the masses, this was just completely lacking any luster and we won’t be back to this establishment. Being this restaurant is in Epcot, it should mirror local flavors, not be so sweetly Americanized.
9 Dragons in Epcot offers an exquisite blend of flavors. The honey chicken is a golden delight, balancing sweetness perfectly. Equally impressive is the sesame chicken, a crunchy symphony of taste. A must-visit for a delightful Chinese culinary experience!
Excellent service! The food was fantastic and came out very quickly. Tried a bunch of different appetizers and each was delicious!
Would not recommend. The food came out cold and dry like it was sitting out for a long time before it was brought to the table. The food was also overly salted too.
The server that had our section was slow and inattentive. I was watching other employees and they were working three times as hard as this guy.
For the total cost of everything, it was not worth it. Do not go here if you’re in EPCOT. The German buffet with a show is way better.
I love this restaurant. Took my brother and my family. They all enjoyed it and they all had a good meal.
If you like Chinese this is the spot in Epcot to visit. It's pricey but the food will fill you up
This is secretly some of the best food in all of Walt Disney World. The dishes are so tasty, and the service is always excellent. Our favorites are King Pao Chicken (comes with shrimp too, but I stick with just chicken) and Sesame Chicken. Prices are reasonable, and it’s generally easy to get a reservation. Do yourself a favor and skip some of the other spots with mediocre, generic food and try out Nine Dragons.
Nine dragons does not disappoint. One thing is for certain, they do not skimp on the portion sizes. After an appetizer, I could not even finish my duck fried rice. That may be, because I tasted multiple dishes, the duck fried rice, spicy honey chicken, lo mein, we’re all fantastic. I would definitely come back.
I was exited to get my food because I ordered the crispy duck fried rice and it looked amazing what you don’t see is the horrible taste it was absolutely horrendous it lacked so much flavor and I was saddened both the duck and especially the fried rice the fried rice tasted like they cooked it in dish water and added nothing to it so bad but I will say the service was phenomenal our waiter was really nice my mothers chicken was really good so just don’t get the duck plz it is saddening
I want the old menu back. That was authentic chinese food. Now it's like fast Chinese take out food in a fancy setting. Q
Made a reservation made our way to Epcot for it specifically as well as Ratatouille. Ride was closed all evening so couldn’t ride it, then we made our way around the world and the park finally arrived for our reservation the host said what reservation show me your reservation of course I only thought to pull up my app which had been not showing things and not allowing me to unlock my door at the Disney resort and it wasn’t there. So since it was an 8: 45pm reservation and we got there so close to them closing at 9 they weren’t warm and welcoming at all and wouldn’t seat us so I said I’m sorry I booked it I guess perhaps it didn’t go through. Needless to say I just now got home after not getting anything to eat and had time to check through my emails there is my reservation after all! Disney has gone down hill in so many areas this is just one of the very many I keep being presented with! Sadly the service is not warm and helpful like the once expectation of a cast member and Disney service. Will not return to nine dragons.
