I highly recommend this organization to anyone trying to make it to the next level or just have some fun! I personally played for the Hurricanes for 12 years and was able to attend a major university thanks to Mark Campbell and the other great coaches who trained me. They have an awesome indoor facility along with their 4 fields so you will never miss a practice. Two thumbs up!

My grandson is just completing his first season with the NF Hurricanes. Coach Campbell and coaches TC and Willie are fantastic. Great baseball fundamentals. He has played for five years and this has been his most enjoyable. Great youth leadership and the most knowledgeable and fun parents I have ever been associated with. Everyone is treated fairly.

I've been providing umpires to NFBA for over 9 years & have officiated dozens upon dozens of their games. They have also played in the last 8 Winter Blitz (WB) tournaments I have coordinated. The love for the game & dedication to their kids is beyond reproach. Any negative reviews is only intended to tarnish their hard earned reputation. In fact, they will be hosting the WB IX 12u championship Wednesday, 6: 30 PM, Dec 3rd at the Southside Estates complex. I invite anyone to watch them play against Marietta Bulls so you can see for yourself that they are a quality organization. Enough said!

Wonderful organization! My son has done private instruction with Coach Mark for over 2 years and has played on the Hurricanes team for 4 months now. Mark and his crew of coaches are top notch and not only do the know the game of baseball but they are also amazing youth coaches. These coaches have a rare ability to really connect with the boys and understand the balance between fun and discipline. My son's skill execution and game knowledge has increased 10 fold since working with Coach Mark and NFBA. Encouraging environment and highly recommended for players that want to take their game to the next level.

NF Hurricane baseball academy is the best club in Jax, hands down! Coach Campbell is a former big league player who coaches old school fundamentals. The parents are the absolute best from all walks of life. If you want the best playing / coaching for your child, I’d highly recommend NF Hurricanes Baseball Academy.

I emailed this organization #NorthFLoridaHurricaneBaseball with questions of what I witness with my own two eyes and what I heard with my ears. This team that she refers to as a TRIBE are majority black. So I ask exactly what she's talking about. Are you talking about the black coaches, #blackplayers on this team, black mothers and fathers? Do you think this team is from a tribe in Africa? This team consist of civil engineers, lawyer, nurse, business owner, 3 parents work for the government, a police officer and a veteran from the United States Navy. This are the people, United States Citizen that your referring to as tribe? There head coach was there and he knows that his team is majority black and so does Liesel Campell because they run this facility.

This her response Fom #LieselCampbell from North FLorida Hurricane Baseball academy. This is her firs sentence to my email.

"Lisa,
So when we prove the young man is 12u, will you also go back to your tribe and to the Jacksonville Baseball World. "

Who informed her that we belong to a #TRIBE? This is the most racist word you can say to a group of colored people. Who goes to church, works hard, family people. People today think they can just say what ever they want. Even Megan Kelly was fired from her television network for what she said about "blackfaces" I have kept all the copies of her email to me as proof. Careful parent. Even though #slavery no longer exist, its a fact that #racism still exist today. #BLACK, #LATINO, #FILIPINO, #IRANIAN, #NOTWHITE, #ALLLIVESMATTER, #BASEBALL

Will you stand next to #God one day and ask him what tribe he belongs to? Are we real Christians or not. God loved all people. The Constitution says "WE THE PEOPLE" not "WHITE ONLY".

The poor review, below, is complete garbage. Both of my boys have been playing for the Canes and Coach Mark for a few years - summer, spring and fall ball. They’re currently on 12u and 13u teams. Not once in all my time here has Coach Mark’s organization been labeled negative. The reviewer below was upset because we picked up a new player who is a stud and we beat their club in a tourney last weekend. He was accused of being older than 12. His dad has a birth certificate to prove otherwise. He’s on our roster. This has gotten out of hand. Let’s lace the cleats and play baseball. If you want the best coaching in North Florida, then come see coach Mark, TC, Jason and Wil. They’re amazing coaches with many years of pro and collegiate baseball under their hats.

We started our baseball journey with NF Hurricanes when my son was 9 years old. This summer my son will be 12 and will have the privilege of attending Cooperstown with the NFBA. We live 60 miles away, and make the drive twice a week to practice. Every long commute is worth it, because my son is being coached fundamentals and not just to win weekend trophies. Great atmosphere, great coaching and administrative team.

I see clearly that people are writing a review to hide the comment below. I was there last weekend for the WInter Blitz that Frank Alvarez hosted and hes also the head umpire. Mr. #FrankALvarez did not do a thing to quiet parents and coaches from both side from yelling. I heard this while my boy was playing on the other field. They were so loud. Mr Frank Alverez being the head coach and host of this tournament should have shut it down but he didn't. Mr. Frank Alvarez did not care because he already collected all his tournament fee and already made his money. Mr. Frank ALverez allowed both side to yell at each other through out the whole game. This is only a money making for Mr. Alvarez because the kids saw and heard everything and you didn't do NOTHING! #SHAMEONYOU

In regards to the racist comment on the email. You could have use the word TEAM, GROUP but she didn't. She used the term TRIBE referring to the other team being majority black. I saw both teams. #SHAMEONYOU

We love the North Florida Baseball Academy and Coach Mark. Our son has been fortunate enough to have played baseball for several different associations in the Jacksonville area. We were hesitant to make the move to play for the Hurricanes as we live very far from where the team practices and plays. I'm glad to say that it has been well worth the extra travel time. Coach Mark and his staff has taught our son alot of the attention to detail and mechanics that are often overlooked, but crucial for player development. I highly recommend this team and academy for any parent that wants their player to get better and join a great team of other players and their families, who are led by the best youth baseball coach in the Jacksonville area.
