North Florida Regional Medical Center

I just love NFRMC. I recently posted recommending North Florida Regional Medical Center over Shands. I was brought in today by ambulance and the level of professionalism by their staff goes unmatched by any hospital I've ever been to. Keep up the great work guys!

Every person I interacted with took great care of me. Very seamless process and would recommend going here. They took the time to explain each step of the process without me asking which made me feel more comfortable.

It was a good in and out experience. The iv was started painlessly, but the tape was applied a certain way that pinched when my blood pressure was being taken. I tolerated it, not wanting to be wimpy. Maybe the cuff should’ve been in the other arm. The large bruise is just starting to fade. It’s still very noticeable after approx. 8 days. This was a weird coincidence. No other suggestions. Thanks

The last 3 (1 Sigmoidoscopy and 2 Endoscopies) tests have been done after 4 pm! I have reported at 9 am for all. This is unfair to patient and family member! My son came from South FL and drove home at 6: 30 PM!

North Florida Regional is the only hospital I will go to! They have always been very professional, courteous and kind to me. They have pulled me through some very tough times. I Thank God for their Doctors and Staff!

The quality of care there is unbelievable these people do everything they can to make you comfortable from nurses the doctors I can't say enough good things about them the only thing that I can say bad That hospital is the food

Been waiting in your ER for over 4 hours other patients are gone back to be seen. My husband had a surgery on the 17th and has an infection or clot. In pain throwing up. No great life changing care here. Staff and all horrible.

Terrible! I don't recommend going to the emergency room here what so ever. If the staff wasn't rude I'd give two stars but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

I had a wonderful stay in North Florida labor and delivery/postpartum recovery. The nurses were great and very attentive. Overall pleasant experience.

Worst medical care I have ever recieved. Incompetent staff, terrible care, asinine doctors. I would rather lay in the parking lot and die than ever be treated by this miserable excuse of a hospital again.

This retarded hospital and staff tried to kill my daughter and her unborn child! Her gall bladder was inflamed and needed to be removed. A simple surgery! Well apparently it was difficult for them! Sent her to New York and she had a successful surgery and is 100% better! N Florida sucks! I wish I could give them a half star or better yet, none at all!

I had a wonderful stay at North Florida. The staff was very helpful and professional and my care was outstanding.

NEVER COME HERE! Came in with an asthma attach they did a chest xray ekg took my money all while I was still sweezing. I didn't get treatment for almost an hour. Worst experience very. They were more worried on how much they can bill my insurance than treating a patient. I am so disappointed. I have never been treated so poorly at a emergancy room before. They don't care for the patient well being at all.

This is a hospital and sure there will be issues and upset people dealing with pain. My mommy was transferred here and I have visited her in ICU a few times now. The staff are very friendly and patient with us, in particular my father who can be a bit over protecting. Gone are the mean restrictive days of the ICU of my youth. They are nice friendly and had no problem with me bringing grandchildren in to visit their nana. The youngest is 4 years old.

The midnight nurse and tech are great. However my biggest complaint is I can not sleep due to the patient's son is sleeping here In a chair and is snoring. No ear plugs to be found. I need to move to a different room or he shouldn't be sleeping in here.

Have been a patient here many times. Not getting better or cleaner. I go there cause my doctors are in the system. My last visit was sub par again.lost confidence in the whole system. In the past I had cdiff and on another encounter MRSA. But I kept coming back. Done Moving on to Shands. It is much cleaner.
That said the new millhopper Emergency Room is awesome it's just that you and up at North Florida.

Worst place ever. I brought my friend here.they admitted her and said they would do surgery.they milked her insurance for four days.then told her they can't do the surgery so she was referred to shands.this place is all about money not helping the patient. As she cant drive so i will never ever bring her bavk to this joke of a place. MONEY HUNGRY THIEVES.

My husband was feeling chills and had a fever around midnight on a Sunday evening. We went to the 24/7 urgent care and they saw him right away. The staff was all very kind and helpful. Thank you!

The ER was more concerned with there Joint Commission then care for me, a burn patient. They failed to care for me and sent me a huge bill for NOTHING. Go to Shands UF, they cared for me properly.

My experience was very good. The staff that was working with me made me fill very comfortable and at ease before my surgery.
