If this is your first time coming, you might want to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment. The GPS will say they're located in the hospital, and that's correct. They do have a location across the street from the hospital, and chances are you WON'T have your appointment there. You might need to give yourself maybe 15 minutes to find parking, because the garage gets packed. I arrived so late, but they were so hospitable and friendly and helpful. My two kids were loud, and they were given nothing but smiles and kindness from the office. Thank you for such a good experience for our first time meeting our new baby

Run from this practice. I called as a new patient to set up an appointment with Dr. Clements. His staff informed me that i had to either physically bring in or fax my prior medical records before Dr. Clements would see me. Wow! What happened to email, web portal, or the good ole postal service. Since fax machines went by the wayside 15 years ago and I live 2 1/2 hours away, there was not a concern in the world for me as a patient. It was cut and dried. I guarantee you if this doctor and staff treats you this way for your records, their treatment for you as a patient is more than likely the same. Find someone else who cares. After all it is our money and our bodies.

The front desk staff is nothing but rude. I wanted to try somewhere new for my second child, but quickly realized NOT one person I’ve talked to there was friendly or helpful. The DRs might be great but what good is that if the staff makes you uncomfortable.

Dr Engle is wonderful. She really put me at ease right away and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel rushed at all. Great patient/Doctor communication A+

I recently moved to the Tallahassee area 29 weeks pregnant. I called this office a month before I was planning to move to get the ball rolling with setting up an appointment since I knew I would be needing to go once every two weeks. The first time I called, the person said to call back after my last appointment at my current doctor because they would want my most up to date records. The second time I called after my last appointment before my move, I was told where to upload my records online and to call back in a couple days to schedule an appointment. The third time I called, they said I needed to have a doctor approve me as a patient before making an appointment, and that they weren’t accepting new patients until the beginning of November (this was October 12th). I called probably every two days trying to see if I was approved yet so I could get an appointment scheduled. Only once did someone transfer me to a nurse who was actually pleasant and helpful, everyone else was rude and brushed me off saying “we’re still waiting on approval from a doctor”. I called the office for the last time on October 26th, fully 30 weeks pregnant and panicking that I did not have prenatal care, and was told “they are still waiting on approval and now not accepting new patients until the end of November”. I was in complete shock and expressed my worry that I would be 34 weeks by that time, and the woman was rude and short and basically hung up on me.

I am in disbelief of the lack of communication, the lack of concern, and time this office takes for a pregnant woman in need of prenatal care.

I called a different practice the next day, and the next morning I was approved as a patient by the doctor and scheduled.

Are you like me and wondering where on earth parking is? This review is for you. You'll have to pay for parking ($1) but going up to the second floor of the parking garage is where you need to go. That will put you right in front of the entrance.

Once you get in if you're there for obstetrics you're good to go. If you're there for gynecology you'll have to go through a different door, take an elevator up to floor 7 at which point depending on your provider you may have to go up to floor 8. There are many signs to make navigation easier but it's still a bit much.

Despite the negative reviews about staff, I had a very pleasant experience. I was able to schedule an appointment online for the same/next day. Their check-in system is a little odd as you do it on your phone but they do have paper versions as well. The system could be improved as none of the information I filled out (medical history, allergies, etc.) actually were saved and a nurse and I filled out all of the information again. Not sure if that's a typical experience but it was mine. I do not blame the staff for the system being buggy as I'm sure they had 0 say in it being implemented.

The support staff and office personnel at this clinic are rude, unhelpful, and do not take their client’s health seriously for those working in the medical profession.

My initial appointment here in spring of 2023 was met with a front desk staff that did not want to copy my records from previous care, as I had recently switched clinic due to relocation. I have medical concerns that require labs and consistent documentation, and I am diligent about maintaining those records and making sure my doctors have them. The front desk said, “Give them to the nurse. ” I asked the nurse, the nurse said “Give them to the PA. ” The PA then said “Give them to the front desk at checkout. ” Begrudgingly, they made copies of my documents at checkout, which could have simply been done when I checked in.

At another visit, I asked for a referral to another office for a specialized service, to which the front desk said I would receive a call “next week” and if I didn’t get a call, to call them back. I never got a call.

The last and final incident: I was scheduled for a telehealth appointment at 8: 00am. I attempted to sign in a few minutes before 8: 00am, and the link was not working. I called the front desk and told them, to which the response was “Someone may call back before 8: 30. If they don’t call you by 8: 30, call us back again. ” I asked who would be calling or if I should still expect to join the telehalth appointment and the office personnel said “That’s all I was told. ” As expected, I didn’t get a call back and decided to call again near 8: 30. For the better part of 30 minutes, I was passed around and on hold from person to person in the office. No one was able to explain why the link was not working, where my PA was, no offer was made to reschedule, and no apology for the incident was made. Interestingly, when I clicked on the “Confirm appt” button, it took me to a screen that said my appointment was cancelled… which I did not initiate. I took time out of my work day for this complete nonsense. I left my number on the call back list, as I spent nearly an hour of my time overall trying to sort this issue out. It has been 3 business days and I have not had a call back. To be honest, I don’t really want to hear from this office again.

I will conclude with saying that my PA was helpful, considerate, informative, and very willing to work with me on my plan of care over the last few months. She was the best part of this clinic, and I am upset that the operations of this office have hindered my ability to get the care I need from her.

I just called to ask questions about my care and was met with and extremely rude LPN name Diana that works in triage. I believe it's the patient right to ask detail question about a procedure. I called asking for clarification and next steps and the nurse starting to raise her voice at me, making me feel alot more stressed out than I needed to feel.

I called 45 minutes before their office hours are listed as closed and the phone said they had already closed.

Took my friend to get an iud placed, as she was in the back screaming in pain because they declined her pain medicine, one of the receptionists was laughing and asking “what baby is that crying”
No apology for her inappropriate reaction to a cry of pain from their patient.

Have been going here since I had my first child in 2018 and it seems to have gone downhill lately. My dr is great, as are the nurses and APRNs I’ve seen. It’s the new system, billing, etc.that have been a huge headache during my last pregnancy. I paid my copay at my first appointment as expected, and throughout my entire pregnancy I have been sent bills for that copay, stating that it will be sent to collections, etc. I confirmed every time I came that I shouldn’t owe a balance- the OB receptionists were very apologetic and said there is some issue with CHP and it’s not updating correctly, but I don’t owe anything and to disregard even though they say it will be sent to collections. They updated to a new system just after I had the baby, so at my post partum appointment, I had to give them all my medical history and information again, even though I just gave it all to them at the beginning of this pregnancy. All mildly irritating, but I called yesterday to get a letter stating I was cleared to return to work (I had sent a request through the new portal almost a week ago and hadn’t received a response at all). I used the feature where they call you back when you’re first in line, and it took a few hours for a callback. The person I spoke to was nice, but said the return to work letter had been “removed” from the portal for some reason with this new system they launched in June, and she had a hard time getting it to state what it needed to, but she could not email it to me or upload it to my portal (she would try) - I had to come in to get it or they could mail it to me, but recommended I go to the Annex across the street because it’s easier. It took several minutes for the receptionist to turn around and come to window and she was obviously irritated, and without any sort of greeting, said “you can have a seat until I check in the other people who were here first, the system was down. ” At 8: 20. The OB staff I’ve encountered have been far friendlier and I like my dr, but I am hoping all the issues with this new system are resolved by the time I come for my annual, or I may look for another office…and I definitely won’t come back to the annex. I understood the kinks at my postpartum appointment when they had just launched the new system, but it’s been months and it seems far worse than the old system and has been a headache.

Awful reception service. Receptionist lady hung up on me while I was giving her my new patient information! Second time, she wasn't bothered to answer any of my questions and was acting like I was a big inconvenience to her. Very unprofessional. I could not get any appointments because of the awful reception service.

The nurse and the doctor were both extremely pleasant and the process was very professional until the exam, when a “Miss Willy” who was supervising over the doctor decided to make a rude comment about my uncomfortable state. I was humiliated and very upset.

I'm very happy with North Florida Women's Care. I love the app portal with all my information in one place, the ability to make appointments online, and the trauma-informed care I receive from Dr. McKinnie and her staff. I highly recommend this practice for GYN!

Every time I call up there the front desk people are so rude and seem like they hate their job. Not very helpful and always seem like I’m inconveniencing them by calling them. Tried to reschedule my appointment this morning and she just gave me the date of when I could do it and then asked if that was all. She didn’t even give me a time, and then when I asked, she copped an attitude when she had to tell me the time. Like? And then I said thank you and she just hung up. Left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Worst place ever and i HOPE you guys do not call me in ever again after you guys get this review dont even for my nexplanon removal either because i will not be letting you guys remove it, you guys are not understanding of me and refuse to understand me too, did a screening on me without my consent, told my mother why i wanted to be on nexplanon when they said everything i tell them is confidential, and refusing to understand that i believe i have always been clean and dont ever need a screening anytime in my life.your nurses and gynecologists seem like they only want their job for the money not because they actually care about their patients concerns.like i said, dont ever call me in again, i know i may have a nexplanon removal next year in june and i hope that appointment is canceled because i dont want another one and i see no point in seeing a gynecologist anymore since i highly believe my reproductive health is great already, so i am leaving it in for the rest of my life and i will not let you guys remove it.

Well I'ma start off saying this my first child I'll be having here in Tallahassee and it's been the worst experience at this place. I don't feel like they care about THIER patient's I'm currently receiving prenatal care there and I dread going everytime because I don't like the energy because most of the nurses and doctors in there be having MAJOR attitudes.don't speak.look at you crazy if you speak to them.and honestly you can tell they just there for a check i don't feel they're there because caring for patients is what they love to do.whoever is hiring them people really need to be a better judge of character cause anybody will say anything to get a job and once they get comfortable true colors come out. I'm really considering having my baby elsewhere at this point.but there is one obgyn doctor that I met my first visit he is a man and he's the only one that made me and my significant other feel welcomed he even shook both our hands. God bless him! The rest of y'all there can kick rock's cause y'all is careless and rude.

Attempted to make a new patient appointment. 1st Receptionist hung up on me while I attempted to provide her with my insurance information.
2nd Receptionist was extremely rude, after I made a request for a Dr.that CHP’s website says is accepting new clients. She demanded that the website is inaccurate and slammed the phone.

I suppose, these were signs that this practice isn’t the best fit for me!
