North Jetty Fish Camp And Beach reviews
22Absolutely gorgeous place to visit! Nice clean restrooms nearby. Nearby park and picnic tables to have a picnic!
I love going to North Jetty the scenery is beautiful with all types of boats coming in and out. Watcching the birds trying to get the fish from the fishermen is a riot. You meet people from all over the world that have a story to tell how they came to America. You also may see dolphins.
One of our, favorite places to go. We always find a parking, spot, short walk to the beach. We always, see dolpins and lots of birds. We also fish here. There is a concession stand amd restrooms available. Also paddle boards and kayaks available to rent. You can enjoy the Gulf here or Sarasota Bay. Nice sunsets!
Great area good inlet to fish there for 10 minutes and landed two largw sheepshead. Too bad they dont sale live bait anymore. But they do sale food and alcohol. Priorities these days.
Very nice place for fishing and shell collecting we enjoyed our Valentine's weekend and we will definitely come back
This is one of my favorite beaches. It has clean restroom facilities, a snack bar that serves breakfast, lunch, and all variety of snacks and beverages, including the alcoholic type. The jetty is always full of fishermen and walkers. The beach is delightful. The park has a great playground for youngsters with barbeques and picnic tables.
Got a nice little food shack now open with beach all around and plenty of room to fish, swim, or chill.
Amazing, such beauty and serenity is rarely found together. Wildlife, beaches, fishing, picnic areas, small snack/stores and very nice and clean restrooms. The most important, you feel completely safe!
Excellent beach with ample of facilities. At the corner of the pier huge amount of shells are deposited. The shells are in different stage of decomposition. Pick one, hang around your neck to achieve a Tarzan look. People and birds are fishing in the jetty, the birds get most of the fishes. Big, rolling waves used by surf beginners. Beautiful area, good seafood restaurants
This is a nice quiet spot, for family fun and watching the sunset. Never too crowded, although the road in (or lack thereof) causes my car to jostle a bit too much and would recommend taking an SUV
Love the jetty! Walking, visiting or just catching up with friends. But the best treat is when the Dolphins & Manatee are out, usually at sunset and sunrise. Picnic, relax & take it all in.paradise!
Very Nice Choice to enjoy a Great popular beach. Exceptional Views & Scenery. Lots of parking and a little food concession on the Inlet. Inlet includes a rock jetty that many fish from.
Great place to people-watch, see the boats going in now the jetties, good little fishing, enjoy the song and water activities.
We love the North Jetty. Its never too crowded and always has lots of marine life, including great fishing.
It's now the North Jetty Tap and Grill. Great food on the beach, and they have Jazz Thursdays from 1130 to 1 30. Check it out! Fast service!
Great beach! We went here for a beach bash.this place was amazing. The bathrooms were clean. And the beach. The beach was amazingly beautiful. The only thing I warn you about is the shells in the water. The shells cut and hurt. Beach shoes are highly recommended. We also were able to find shark teeth as well.very, very beautiful. I will be visiting this beach again!
I didn't have any luck catching fish, but if you look in the photo there's a dark spot and that's a manatee so I was able to see a big big manatee supposedly around their mating season. But I heard this was a great place to come later in the year when the water is actually really hot but you can catch Bonita, tarpon, sharks, and much more as the guy was telling me Ulysse so definitely a place to go and try to catch some fish
Go at sunrise or sunset. The dolphins and manatees swim by the end of the channel and is great to watch. The beach itself is great.
This place has a nice kayak launch area. Then one can paddle around the intracoastal waters and bays aroun Venice.
