I just called to make an appointment as a new patient, because I am trying to find a better obstetrician and clinic, Melissa asked me personal questions about why I am doing it (very uncomfortable), and one of the reasons I gave her is that I find disrespectful that on my previous obstetrician you have to wait 2 hours passed your appointment to get checked, she told me it will be like that there too. 1. She should not be asking personal questions 2.what a great way to make a new patient go away

This doctor's work team is totally and absolutely inept, they tell you not to make blind servants, sure that in reality if they catch, you always get a different girl with a very unpleasant attitude, cutting off the conversation and saying no for an answer without listening.the question, they definitely don't want to work or they want to give their doctor a very bad reputation. They should change the work tin, these girls don't work well.

Extremely disappointed, hurt and disheartened after today’s appointment. I’ve been going to this office for 13 years with zero issues. My elderly Mom has been coming to this office for 40+ years even before Hildahl took it over years ago and took me to the former doctor growing up as well. We are long-term patients. I absolutely loved Dr. Hildahl until today that is…Today, I had a 9am appointment and when I asked front desk what the delay was at almost 10am (like anyone would probably ask, right?), I was treated very rudely. No one said a baby was being delivered and no one has ever said to me in 13 years “We’re always behind on appointments. ” I know there is a wait, but I think an inquiry and my concern after almost an hour was not out of line. I was curtly told twice “you can reschedule if you want” but there was no “we’re delivering a baby this morning” or “so sorry we are behind and we appreciate your patience this morning. ” – nothing like that. The worst of it was when Dr Hildahl himself came in and told me he had a delivery this morning (I even congratulated him as I had no idea) and accused me of being the problem by saying “you have not been happy there for a few years now” (implying I should leave their office) which was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and HURTFUL to me because in 13 years I’ve never made a formal complaint about anything and literally had no clue what he was talking about! I come in here literally once a year for my checkup and had one prescription which I was on for years with no issues and then off in the entire last year, so what “notes in my file by nurses” you referred to in our appointment had me complaining about medication, Dr. Hildahl? I’d like to know what you’re referring to because it is NOT TRUE. I then come to realize he was probably confusing me with my mother (same uncommon last name) who had some issue a while back with medications according to her, but who knows – I don’t know anything about that. Bottom line - Whether he thought it was me or my Mom, the fact that he basically implied I should go elsewhere after being a patient for 13 years simply because I asked what the delay was that day is horrific and hurtful. I actually thought this doctor cared about me and valued the relationship for just the one time a year I’m in here and literally bother NO ONE here at this office ever except to call and make my appointment each year. I called my Mother after the appointment and told her about it, as apparently, they don’t want her there the way they treated me in thinking I was her? Regardless, so upsetting. Maybe the problem is not the patients, but rather the snarky condescension from the front desk and then the doctor blaming the patient instead of correcting the response to patients to be more informative and polite. I’ve never been treated like that in 13 years of going here, and I won’t subject myself to it again. I won’t put my trust in someone who literally would rather have me leave the practice than to just be polite and simply say “we were delivering a baby this morning and we appreciate your patience in waiting today”, let alone confuse me with another patient and stick up for the rude person at front desk. Really just shocking. Apparently, it’s time to find someone else who is going to value my long-term patronage and cares about my health regardless of whether I’m giving birth or not, and there are plenty of choices here in Naples. I advised my mother to do the same. The sad thing is that no one at this office will care if I leave or stay, including the doctor as I harshly learned today. Think long and hard before you choose your doctor and re-evaluate regularly…even after 13 years, (40+ years for my elderly mother) no one at this office gives a damn - unless you’re ready to give birth, I guess. I deserve better care and treatment, and I will get it elsewhere.

My experience with Dr. Hildahl far exceeds any other OBGYN I have seen in the past. He always makes my husband and I feel comfortable and confident when leaving his office. More importantly, we never feel rushed. Dr. Hildahl is understanding and compassionate towards his patients personal situations and guides us in the right direction for success. I have enjoyed my experience working with him as my doctor.

Booked my first obgyn appt with Beckett end of July. An older lady made my appt and so I called to confirm the time today and she said nothing was booked because they don’t take Aetna? ! And did not think to let me know this the last 1-2 months? Horrible customer service and way of running medical office. Despicable to be honest. Probably a blessing in disguise because someone who currently sees them told me they are horrible and it is too late to switch doctors. Smh

Dr. Hildahl always takes his time and always listens. Never rushes me through my appointment. I’ve been a patient for over 15 years. Also, his staff is always very pleasant.

What a terrible front desk service! False information. First I called if they are accepting new patients and my insurance. They said yes, but first they need my medical record. I told them who my past doctor was if they can get it from them, but they said no. I have to get all the medical records myself and delivery to them. I got all what they ask for and went to the office. They said they have NO time to make copies, to leave it there and they will call me after they have time to see it and will let me know. Today I got voicemail they only accept OB new clients so I have to go back and pick up my medical records. What a terrible way treating people. Make me running around and get all they ask for. They should know in the first place they are not accepting new GEN female patients.

Staff is a joy! A lot of other medical office staff act like they have better things to do but Dr. Hildahl’s office are always pleasant and helpful. Of course, I give credit to Dr. Hildahl for not only being a wonderful physician, but also for being a truly wonderful person.

Dr. Hildahl delivered my second born just a week or so ago and I have to say I had a great experience with him throughout my entire pregnancy. I always felt safe and at ease with my high risk issues and found him to be very comforting where I didn't have to worry. He was very careful with decision making regarding mine and baby's health and didn't do anything that was risky. Also, the staff and nurses in his office are simply amazing! My pregnancy this time went as smoothly as it possibly could because of him. Very professional and caring and I highly recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Hildahl for around 30 years. He is like an old time doctor, by that I mean he takes time to talk to you & get to know you. He is compassionate, caring & professional. Highly recommend!

Dr. Dean Hildahl is a wonderful, caring practitioner. I’m so happy I found him! He was very attentive throughout my pregnancy. My husband and I loved that he always got an ultrasound at every appointment; it brought a lot of peace of mind. He took his time with us and answered every question that came up. We highly recommend him!
