North Palm Beach Library reviews
7Very clean and quiet, incredibly helpful staff even when dealing with difficult customers.
During the summer on Wednesday and Friday they feed the kids lunch and a snack, 18 and under from 12: 30-1: 30.
Super helpful, they have books for sale also if you want a beach read and don't want to be concerned about it. Lots of magazines and comphy chairs to sit and read them, DVD's, computers, and a local florida history room that has some unusual reference. They also have many programs such as a local knit and crochet group that meets on mondays and a quilters group that meets on friday.
Had a racial encounter where another guest was yelling out unacceptable words as she referenced black people. I grabbed my recorder from my granddaughter to record as she made her way towards my granddaughter and I with a really troubled smirk on her face. Sadly this was the only way I felt I'd be protected by standing my ground if I needed to protect myself or my 4 year old granddaughter. The staff quickly called the police and they were there in no time. Other than that, there are many computers available, quiet reading places, copier, printers and all the office supply equipment you might need while doing your work. They sale books and movies. You can also donate your unused books, movies, etc. There is an elevator for those unable to use the staircase and plenty of parking.
Clean informative helpful my three favorite things about this library! There is an upstairs and downstairs area. Check em out.
The Library and Presentation i will definitely give
4 stars nice clean neat library very homey feeling
But Lady in the kids department wasn’t so pleasant I and my daughter went here so my daughter can find some interesting books to read and the lady at the computer never greeted us upon walking in as other customers walked in they got greeted quickly so I’m just thinking ok maybe she didn’t see us then we proceeded to look around to find more books as I was holding 2 books she states ARE YOU READY TO CHECK OUT? Thinking I was going to either steal the books or not if I was ready to check out the particular books I would have went to the counter to check them out very rude and tasteless unwelcoming in a repulsive manner
Customer Service now on the second floor is a different story the staff are very helpful with paperwork and very acknowledged about the things you need and want I appreciate that staff on the second floor upon walking in all greeted us with no hesitation
