This store is well stock and very clean; hats off to the staff! The sales people I have dealt with in the store are very friendly and helpful. Definately worth the drive!

So i work for a mobile service company and we usually buy our equipment from harbor freight but i decided i wanted something of better quality. I came here and bought a jack to work with. Unfortunately it broke about 2 months after i bought which is whatever I'm hard on tools. They refuse to warranty because they don't cover normal wear and tear even though i bought the warranty. After going in circles calling 4 different numbers i found out the warranty is to start after the year long manufacturer warranty. I called the manufacturer and they said it was covered for that. I now know why there parking lot is empty always. Everyone else that i work with goes into harbor freight and it takes literally 10 minutes and they walk out with a new one. I highly suggest going to harbor freight, its right down the street. Not only for the warranty process but it seems there equipment last much longer. Its just annoying, i just disputed the charge and went to harbor freight.

The customer service representatives, and the people that work at the store are exceptional. It was a pleasure speaking with them, and they were very helpful. Look forward to doing business with them for many more years.

Extremely helpful, and available, staff. Shopping here is a breath of fresh air. The staff here are friendly and knowledgable. The staff at Home Depot look like they want to jump off the roof.

Their inventorying system is not very accurate. It's said online I could pick up the order at the store but the store canceled the order.

I bought a compressor with an extended 2 year warranty which to me is useless because it starts after the 2 year in house warranty ends which that is useless 2 me when they have no service or staff and no parts to fix the problem. All my repairs have been done by me going through corporate and the Northstar rep getting parts from Jack's small engine and doing the work myself. Save yourself the hassle and go to another store in another city. I will never shop at the Lakeland Northen tools again.

Update, after hours of phone calls to corporate regional manager, The warranty center, The store, both regional managers. I got a call this morning from the store wanna meet. They said You Bring The compressor and I did and they replaced it. Yes! Wish They would have done this in the beginning instead of telling me to just pound sand basically but at least they made it right. I may or ay not shop there again but I'm not going to boycott northern tools altogether. Now I give them 3 stars up from the 1 star from yesterday for making it right. But that's after they got their arm twisted by a corporate probably.

Prices were good on these jack stands.they have a little bit of everything. Jack stands where bigger than what I thought.they returned them with no problems thank you

I ordered a product April 19, you took my money and said it was shipped but I have NOT RECEIVED the product and for the last two weeks have been told it is in its way to one of th Carolina’s. A month has passed, the birthday it was purchased for has passed and still no product and northern tool cares les because you have my money.

RUN! They will not stand behind the product that they sell. HORRIBLE customer service after the sale! Home Depot and Lowes for me from now on! - HAD TO EDIT to respond to the question. It was 100% the store employees at the Lakeland Florida Store! They are RUDE and the store manager Alfredo IS THE WORST!

I dropped off an inverter 10/31/22 and just picked it up today 3/19/23.14 weeks to get it fixed. Yes you told me the part was back ordered. But 14 weeks and no sorry or discount “oh I lowered the price of the part $7, that’s all I can do. ” $95 in labor come on corporate “greed” America! Northern Tool you don’t pay your techs ANYWHERE close to the per hour! I’m still without my inverter for 14 weeks and still paid over $150. Not even hey we’re sorry can I offer you a store credit or gift card (to shop here again).

This northern tool in particular is absolutely terrrible! Stay away! Take the extra drive to go to another location if you want to shop with northern tool. I bought a faulty product here imagine how that would feel. You just bought your new Softwash machine and put it all together to find out it doesn’t work! So I contact the store that I am over two hours away from btw. I then drive all the way to the location to return the machine. The employee I spoke with told me I was going to get my return onto my card within 3-5 business days. Couple days go by and I call to get an update on the return. I spoke with the general manager which told me I would need to drive all the way back to the store that is 2 hours away to sign in order to get my return! I get charged $100.00 for buying a faulty product! What a nasty way to handle your repeat customers when returning a item that is bought broken at a store.

Clean and organized store. Quite a bit of variety. Prices are very good on some items, not great on some items.

They have alot of invertory in store, but the problem i have is everytime i go there they never have what i went there for they tell me to call first and that most are online. That does nor help when you need it now. So i never buy anything. They are not a good store, you waste your time going there. Best bet go somewhere eles.

If I can give no stars I would. As a company that buys tools regularly you have officially lost a customer. Your store manager certainly doesn't care. Took my tools for repair there and both times they touched it the machine stopped working. Now it doesn't work at all. Tech said we were his 1st repair. Store manager says *oh the last time you were here they didn't charge you the $40*. Really? That's because we thought your team was standing behind the work that they failed to do the 1st time. Won't help us unless we pay again! And then continues to say he will tell his team so they don't do it again (you know.stand behind their work without charging $40!). Please send your store managers to training and development or continue to lose valued customers.

The worst store I’ve been to and had the worst experience. I asked one of employees for pressure washing hose reels they give me garden hose reels instead unfortunately I didn’t do my due diligence and checked it myself I was on rush to head to the job site mind you a drove 1 hour to get there. I came back to return it the next day and get the right hose reel the manger refuse to take it back only if he take 15 %off for open box how you expect me to check it with out opening the box so I refuse to let him take advantage of the situation so he refuse me services and called the police on me and trespass me off the store I have a business account with them for a while and I’m paying customer that’s how they treated me very unprofessional and courteous I was shocked how the manger pursuit and acted in this situation corporate is notified hopefully some action is going to be taking from corporate or I will pursue for a civil lawsuit.

I placed an order on-lne during the evening for pickup at the Lakeland store. They had my order ready first thing the morning when I arrived. Very freindly and helpful staff. This will be my "go to" Northern T&E store!

Northern Tool is the worst Corporation I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I will never return to that store for anything. Unable to give refunds cause they don’t carry cash in the store but they sure accepted it when I purchased it. I now have to wait weeks to get my money back. Sales representative was rude and the Manager Alfredo was even worse. My company will never recommend the Lakeland Florida location to anyone or Any location for that matter

Yesterday I stopped by the store to pick-up a generator I had ordered. While walking through the store I had a gentleman by the name of Jimmy that came up and offered some help. When I told him I was there to get the generator not o ly did he help me, but gave me many pointers that I needed to know for the care of, and use of the generator. He went above and beyond what was even asked of him. This was my first time ever in a Northern Tool and it definitely will not be my last. Michelle at the register was very friendly as well.
