Nova Homes of South Florida

Very very very slow. Do not recommend. Started our home a year ago and we still don’t even have trusses on a year into a build, but they have been laying on the ground being soaked for half a year now. And they still can’t give a date when they would be installed. Keep getting excuses why it is taking so long to even get to this stage. Talking to many other builders we met in area they all said at this speed nova will take another year at least to finish the house, and they are in shock that this is where we are at a year later.

When we asked Nova many times for approximate end date, which every builder has, they say they do not provide any and do not have any. That should tell you a lot right there about Nova.

All our neighbors next to the build site have complained to us that our house is taking too long to build and that they are Upset with the builder that no one is ever there at the site. They say they see all other homes built by other builders in our neighborhood being worked on every week but ours, built by Nova, is almost always empty site and no one is there. We also have had mistakes in our construction twice at this stage, which made us want to move to Naples sooner than planned to keep an eye on a house and to be able to inspect it every step.

We couldn’t be here in the city till now, and it’s sad and disappointing to hear that about Nova from our future neighbors that see the build every day and tell you that your builder is disappointment to them and they themselves have told other people that were interested in using Nova Homes not to use Nova because they see a house build by them in the neighborhood and they recommended few people to stay away from them.

By the way - we have a house in our neighborhood that got started by Nova Homes later than ours - but yet it’s in the exact same stage of build as ours.

Frank Arcia, owner of Nova Homes, is the only contractor you consider using in South Florida. They are the most honest, hardworking and creative people in the construction game. Don't hire anyone else. I've worked with a number of contractors in the past and Frank embarrassed them all. The construction is all in their rudder. Their attention to details and their ability to predict potential problems well in advance, whether you are at the project stage or in the workplace, is incomparable. When you get your offer number and time line for a job, it is correct. If a different contractor returns with a smaller number or a faster timeline, it is lying to you. If you are tired of being charged for poor quality work and need a break, give me Frank!

My wife and I finally decided after many years of brutally cold Wisconsin winters to relocate to sunny Naples and are getting ready to break ground on our new home with Nova Homes. Being that we have built several homes in Wisconsin we are not unfamiliar with the hurtles of new construction. After meeting with several local builders we were finding it difficult to relay to them exactly what we were envisioning for our new home. There were some builders that were extremely reluctant to make any changes to their existing plans however that was until we spoke with Nick at Nova Homes. Nick was referred to us by a close friend that told us that Nova Homes had a great reputation and we should definitely consider them as our builder. From our first meeting with Nick I knew we had found our builder. Nick listened to my wife and I ramble on about our visions and he even went as far as to hand sketch a rough idea for our floor plan which I thought was very impressive. Thus far the process has been terrific and my wife and I our very happy with our decision to have Nova Homes be our builder.

They are truly a great company, they are very detailed. They built my home in fort myers beach and they did a better job at putting everything I wanted and more. Truly grateful for their business.

After many countless hours of researching local and reputable contractors we finally came across Frank at Nova Homes. I have to admit we are not the easiest of clients, but Frank entertained us with countless meetings to review and explain every detail. This was extremely refreshing for us since we had little to no experience in this field. With the help and direction of Frank our condo turned out to be more than we could have ever imagined. Finding a builder was the hardest thing for me. I went all over town looking for a great one couldn’t find one. I can never forget that day I decided to stop by Nova homes office. That was the best day of my life, all my questions were answered. My anxiety level went from 10 to 0. The staff there are great (Frank, Nick and everybody else there). We made a good choice when we picked Nova to build our new home in Naples. Good quality materials and excellent workmanship. We had a few concerns along the way but Nick and Frank answered our questions and took care of things in a prompt and efficient manner. Even after closing they promptly fixed a few minor thing that popped up.

We upgraded to some quite expensive quartz countertops and their installers were up to the task.great work.

I selected Nova Homes of South Florida to build my home in 2016 and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in New Home Construction. Frank (the owner) gave me a fair price on a small home built on Isles of Capri. The entire process went smooth, Even after Irma. Any questions I had were answered immediately, as well as someone at the office to speak to. We worked together on upgrades, designs and new ideas in his (new at the time) showroom. I was impressed with the modern kitchen and bath elements the showroom had to choose from. Currently, I work on Marco Island and I see New Construction signs popping up every week with Nova Homes logo on them. If you have any questions about using Nova Homes of South Florida just look at the market. It speaks for itself!

As a real estate investor it is extremely challenging to find a builder who is willing to take the time to review proposals, offer sound advice and produce an end product that wows even the most select clients. We are currently under construction on our 8th project with Nova Homes and look forward to many more Thank you Frank and the rest of the Nova Homes team. Job WELL DONE!

After looking for existing homes and not finding what we were looking for. We met Frank and soon after signed a contract to build our home. Very smooth transaction and built us a very nice home. Would highly recommend Nova Homes to anyone and would absolutely use them again in the future!

We are extremely happy with our Nova Home Build (The Islamorada). Frank, Nick, Yackeline were ALWAYS very nice, friendly, helpful and informative.
