This was this FIRST time I visited my mother and asked to have her brought downstairs with NO problems, 45 minute waits and/or glitches. THANK YOU! So with that I will add a star, hoping for continued better service through this journey.

Incompetent, Unprofessional Rude Director, Reported to AHCA for Investigation, Only Johnna, from admission Vivian (therapist) and after MAJOR complaints did i spoke to Marie the head Nurse who shoqed some Compassion for my 93 year old Mother, at 1st place looks good, but I witnessed other patients being mistreated by the Rude Receptionist. My mother was barely batjes in the 10 days she was there hair not Brushed Over medicated and kept as a Vegetable until i Demanded medication to be removed, she needed help being fed and they failes to do most times, I wwnt at lunch and was able to feed her myself, Nurse tells me she dis not want to eat and other said ahe ate. No information given via phone all they said she is ok if something is wrong we qill call you, we finally decided she would be better at home, they Never saw or got report of Therapy being done. HORRIBLE PLACE REPORT N INVESTIGATE DO NOT RECOMMEND this Facility, it's like a Jail for Seniors if family dosent take interest or visit Management Don't care and it reflects on some employeea

The director Rita Hollingsworth is extremely rude & blantanly disrespectful. Quite frankly, she's incompetent and should be investigated because she needs to be reprimanded. I fear for my loved one's care under her management. No one is holding her accountable for her level of disrespect and unprofessionalism towards visitors and patients' family members. She lacks leadership skills and certainly does not lead by example. I am baffled that Nspire is even comfortable with allowing her to be the face of their establishment and even worse, a representation of their company. She has some audacity if you ask me. I refuse to spend my money and pay a facility to care for my father that is going to disrespect me every time I choose to visit him. If they can barely provide customer service which shouldn't even be a question, how can I even feel comfortable to address the management with my concerns. It is ridiculous that I have to be going through this. I have had two unpleasant and unfortunate encounters with her in less than a month. The last straw was when she slammed her office door in my face when I opted out of talking to her about a concern that I had at the time of my visit. Instead, I chose to address the very nice Assistant Director, Joanne Alvarez. I am still confused as to why Rita Hollington is the director and not Ms. Joanne Alvarez. Nspire truly made a mistake on that appointment of upper management. I would much rather care for my love one myself rather than pay my money to Nspire Healthcare where their staff feel like they are invincible and as if it's ok to be rude and disrespectful to the families of patients. I'm starting to question the level of care being provided to the patients when such incompetence and carelessness is being exemplified by the staff from the front desk receptionist to the director. I am beyond livid!

This comment is my personal opinion and I respect the others
This center helped my mother a lot in her rehabilitation, the food was varied and very good according to my mother, the beds were always clean
They bathed my mother and were always very attentive to her personal cleanliness
The Social Worker Tina was very sweet and tried to help me as well as Yeilin who is the case manager "excellent person"
My mother does not speak English and even so they did everything possible to understand her and that is very professional.
At first I was very concerned about my mother because of the bad comments BUT when my mother told me that she was very well cared for, that gave me a lot of peace because a good daughter wants the best for her parents

This facility is so unorganized. They do not communicate with the family regarding visitation. When you schedule a visit, and you arrive there only to be told there are no visits today. The receptionist or another staff personal should notify the family if they have cancelled all visitation. People are leaving their homes for a short period of time during this pandemic to look upon their love one face for a few minutes. What a mess.

Upper admin management/director and admin team in general, extremely CLUELESS AND INCOMPETENT with smiles and promises that fall into a vortex black hole. Admin has no compassion for the best interest of the residents, leading to lies and/or exaggerations to cover up their lies. Calling facility in general for a specific person is usually a circus. Very lucky if you’re able to reach the person you’re calling or if they ever call you back. Follow ups and closure on issues are very rare and usually a long dragged out time consuming project for something that shouldn’t take more than 24-48 hours. Reception ladies, recreation and nursing staffs are phenomenal! Issues were not only with prior facility Manor Care, but even worse now with new name NSpire Healthcare Plantation. Now it’s much more easy for admin to do nothing behind the locked doors due to COVID safety protocols.

VERY, VERY DIFFICULT TO GET ANY STAFF ASSISTANCE SO YOU CAN SPEAK TO A PATIENT. They are always “too busy! ”
Haven’t heard from a particular patient in 24 plus hours inspire of the fact that the patient usually calls several times a day.
The website boasts that the nspire mission is C. A. R. E.done with excellence. At this point in our loved ones stay, it seems like it should be “care-less-ness” done with indifference!

Worst experience, my mom has been there for the last 6 days and is still there now but I haven't seen something like that, I don't have enough space to write down every wrong things that happened from admission and I have been asking them since Tuesday that I want my mother discharge from that facility and today the administrator call me and you can see she doesn't even know my mom medical history and making things up as she goes and she didn't know that I am no rookie in skills Care, because there's not too many covid 19 facility in Broward and family can't visit they're getting away with murder. My mom is not incontinent but they put a diaper on her and tell her you have to do everything in the diaper and will clean you after, , social worker tell me that my mom has no dentures maybe they have lost them in the hospital which is a lie n. Because I want to take my mother home because of their poor care they're telling me it's against medical advice and that they are not going to provide or setup homecare services for my mom to be safe and they know for the discharge to be safe she needs to have a transport w/c, oxygen at home and physical therapy so I am going to wait and see and I will know what my next move will be. But in the meantime I think what they really care about is Medicare money.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience here. My 81 year old mom fell and broke her leg but besides that has stage 4 cancer. Every night they brought her the wrong pills and also very late. Her wound care was awful maybe every few days it was changed if that. The nurses had bad attitudes whenever you ask for something. Don’t get me wrong there was maybe 1 good nurse and 1 good CNA. The only wonderful and positive thing I can say is that Keysha made
Everything better. She is so caring and came by everyday to see my mom. I had to make the decision to take her out of this facility. Keysha deserves 5 stars out of 5 for the rest I am sorry to say it’s 1 star if that.

Late post. My mom was there for a month in the beginning of 2019. Most of the nurses and CNAs were nice to her, hence the 2 stars and not 1 star.however, it took them a long time to respond when she buzzes for assistance, especially since she had no mobility because of Parkinsons. Our main concern and reason we transferred her to another place was the lack of professionalism. Besides the fact that the place is very outdated, dirty, smells bad, low in supplies, and the equipment is old, the nurses, including the nurse supervisor were not very knowledgeable and were not on top of things. More than once they connected the oxygen machine incorrectly. If it wasn't for the family being all day with my mom and noticing that her oxygen level was low, who knows what could have happened due to improper connection. My mom was dependent on oxygen. Another example is we asked to put my mom on a wheelchair to walk around and nurse said she did not know how to connect the oxygen! Nursing 101 you would think! My mom had a tracheotomy which was supposed to get closed right away. Supposedly there is respiratory therapist that goes by often but after a month of asking they finally were going to start the process of closing the trachea because we insisted in seeing a respiratory therapist. They are not very efficient and did not show concern in a speedy rehabilitation. There needs to be better management and structure. Even the peg tube feeding was disorganized. There would be days my mom was disconnected from the feed for many hours and at times for almost an entire day due to lack of oversight. They claim to know how to take care of patients with tracheas but I would say not at all. The nurses, including the supervisor did not even know how the speaking valve functions (has a flap for air to go in and out) and would tell us that with the valve she would not receive oxygen, which is incorrect! In fact, she needed to use it as much as possible in order to get used to breathing with it. I would definitely not recommend this place unless there is no other option at all. The physical and occupational therapists were very nice and the basic therapies provided helped her to gain some strength back which allowed her to be approved at another rehab hospital which we are happy with.

On a whole quite good except for one or two incidences which can be corrected. I give a FIVE star rating. Yes I would recommend Nspire. Facility is clean and therapy was good.
Islaine, Doreen, Sharon, and Nelly were most helpful, considerate, and made me feel welcomed and took good care of my husband. I would come back to this facility.

I just wanted to thank the staff at Nspire Healthcare, especially Keesha, who has helped me so much through this difficult time of having to find a new home for my mom. They have been extremely helpful and accommodating, even through the worst of times. When my mom had to be transferred to the hospital for a procedure, Keesha checked in with me daily. Finding a nursing home for a loved one isn't an easy choice and the options are limiting and overwhelming. But when you find one with good people who help you all get through it, you know you made the right choice!

It was great nursing and physical therapy services were great. The nursing staff were always nice they are not as appreciate as they should be. The food was okay because I am much picky eater but I do thank the employees for always giving me options. I really would like to thank the staff for all that you have done. I hope I do not go to the hospital again but I would use this facility services again and will tell friends and family.

Therapy was good, at times I had issues with getting CNA but head nurse resolved this issue from me getting here. The issue stop happening. I had diet food ordering issue getting here, the kitchen lady came in to resolve the issue. The team came in several times in the morning to meet me and the administrator. Its a good place for rehab services.

Usually I am reluctant to write negative reviews of healthcare facilities as I know this is a difficult function and they try but wish I could give this place zero stars! My Mom was sent there for rehab after a brief stay in Westside Regional due to coronary related issues. They did not improve her health, she actually deteriorated and became very depressed. The PT is non-existent and what little they do is barely helpful. The food is not edible and they don’t give you much. My Mom once asked for a sandwich because she didn’t like what she had and they gave her crackers. Don’t even bother calling for help as they don’t come and don’t care. The facility is dirty and smells from urine.the people at the nurses desk are very nasty and act like SS Stormtroopers. I could go on and on but I hope you get the message.
