Oak Hammock Resort, Lake Wales FL

Stopped by for a night and it was wonderful! Cheryl and Bobby were absolutely the best, they went as far as to lend us fishing poles since ours were at home and our son bought his first bass! We will absolutely be back!

Such an awesome place to camp. Bobby & Cheryl are some of the nicest and friendliest people you’ll meet and made sure we were taken care of each day we were there. My boys loved the fishing pond and the dogs loved the dog park. We will definitely be planning another stay here soon!

Oak Hammock Resort is a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly as well. Highly recommend and very clean.

The cabin was excellent with great lake views. The canoe/kayak launch was nice, and the grounds are very well kept.

Nice and quiet. We loved fishing and walking around. Owners are super friendly and were very helpful getting us into our spots. Our first time there in site 13, with our friends in site 9. We made our own "buddy" common area. IT WAS GREAT! We were there Dec 2021 and they were decorating for Christmas. Long strings of colorful lights from the trees were absolutely beautiful. We've booked again for April 2022. Can't wait to be there.
12/11/2023-Well I've been several more times since that review. This last time was just Thur-today. It gets better every time. Cheryl & Bobby are absolutely fantastic hosts. They're so helpful and friendly and make you feel so welcome.

Grounds were very well kept. Cabins we went in were also quite nice, perfectly clean. Dock and lake are beautiful.very sereene at the end of November. Definitely recommended.

We held our family reunion here for the past few years and it has been really special. It's nice and secluded with beautiful views and plenty of room. The rooms are nice and cool and the beds are comfortable as well. If you're looking for a getaway in the lake wales area you'd be hard pressed to do better than this.

Had an RV site. Very nice campground. Beautiful lake and scenery. Brought our dogs and loved the dog play and agility area! Very very clean and the owners, Bobby and Cheryl were great! We will be back!

Oak Hammock was wonderful! We had a lot of family, some staying in cabins and some with RVs and we all had a great experience. The owners are very friendly & always around to check on you, or help with anything. The grounds were beautifully kept & there was plenty of activities to do including the game room, fishing, nature walk, etc. We can’t wait to plan our next trip back!

What a pleasure it was to stay on these beautiful grounds. The owners are very gracious hosts. We were blessed to go off-season, and it felt like we had the whole property to ourselves. So peaceful and serene. Lushly landscaped property with birds singing and fish jumping by the dock. Can't get a better place to get away from the city and relax in nature.

I've been twice. Beautiful RV Resort. Cheryl and Bobby are wonderful people, very helpful. Neat place to stay in an RV. They have beautiful furnished cabins you can rent. The lake is Pretty. The have a catch and release pond. Great dog park. The dog park is big and well taken care of, they have things in it for for your Furkid can jump on. Also 8n the dog park also has a water station to water you dogs and also it's set up to give your pet a shower, hot and cold water.

The most amazing place for our wedding. Cheryl and Bob couldn't do enough for us. Everything was so perfect.

We spent two nights backed up to the fishing pond. Had a great stay and the property is a wonderful piece of old Florida. We went to Legoland one day, only a 20 min drive with minimal traffic.

This it's a amazing place to relax and enjoy the nature. Place it's beautiful and the staff is respectful and great people.

The hosts are great people. They were very accomodating. Very cozy. A new dog park to boot! I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the peace and serenity. Stayed in a cabin while friends staying there in rv.owners are super friendly and helpful. (happens to be a friend of mine) eagles were nesting and able to get a few shots.watched the sunset last night-gorgeous. Will Def go back and enjoy the peace.

The owners Cheryl and Bobby are great. They have poured their heart and souls into this little piece of heaven. We were fortunate enough to have stayed here just over 4 months after we sold our home just across the lake. Very quiet, clean and friendly/welcoming environment.

Thank you Cheryl and Bobby for being such wonderful hosts and making it the best family reunion experience for us! We were very impressed by both the cabins and campsites we had the opportunity to stay at. They we all clean and well taken care of. We also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, stocked fishing pond, adorable donkeys, and beautiful views of the lake. We couldn't ask for a better family reunion and will definitely be back!
