Truely saddend to lose a doctor I have seen for about 10 years. I got a bill for my "annual inspection" which my insurance has covered in full for the last 19 years.
90 days after my appointment I was contacted for a past due bill of $5.44. I was perplexed since insurance covers my annual inspections and why am i just finding out about this charge now? When i questioned why i was charged, they claim it was for a pregnancy test the dr always performs. I said i have never been billed before. She looked it up and acknowledged i have never had it done or had been billed for it.
I then questioned how i would have been notified of this charge? She said by bill. I asked what address would this goto? She provided my last home address from 6 years ago (further confirming i havent gotten billed in 6 + years). She acknowledged she saw i did update my address years ago but "they" didnt put it in the billing screen. Office claims that dr said this is a "fair price". I wasnt questioning how much the price was for the service. I was questioning why am i getting billed now. I let the gal know i will pay the bill and that was my last visit. They will lose a patient over $5.44.wow.

This is the 2nd doctor's office with Flagler that i am leaving over billing issues (other office i also loved the dr). I will be steering all away from Flager due to billing.

FLAGLER, do not charge for a service when not requested by me or tell me what the charge will be prior to performing the procedure.

Also, do not charge me for an appointment where noone ever took me back and noone saw me.
I got to appointment early. I was told comptuers were down and they were restarting. I waited 30+ min then they said they will cancel since their computers are down. They resceduled 6 months later but i got billed for the appoitment they canceled. I spoke with billing staff that said it was still an appointment. That was my last visit with that doctor. Too bad cause i really liked him.

The office is horrible about answering the phone! Also not very friendly and does not care about the patients well being. These issues were major for me during my pregnancy. Dr. Searle is amazing though, sad I won’t be going back for my next pregnancy

You can not get an appointment at this office. They tell you to complete a form online but never call you back for an appt.

Dirty! I’d rather have my next baby on the floor of a gas station bathroom! Or die of cervical cancer before I step foot back in that place. I’m sorry, no I will not pee in a cup over a toilet seat covered in gnarly long black hair. No I will not take off my pants and sit on a table also covered in said hair with Bobby pins all over the floor. Gross. And no I will not wait an hour to be called back, just to wait another 30 minutes to listen to the nurses gossip right outside my room. With the door open!

The lack of communication here is unreal, the receptionist are very nice the lady's in the back that deal with insurance are rude nasty and don't know what to do, we signed paperwork for payment then we show up saying it is due when it was approved in the past visit it is not our fault that they do not know how to do there job in the back
Telling us there going to discharge us at 32 weeks in unreal and goes to show this is a strictly money issue they do not have personal one on one care for there patients if we weren't so far along we would run as fast as we can away
OH YEAH DONT EXPECT A CALL BACK OR NOT TO BE LEFT ON VOICEMAIL

RUNNNNNNNNNNNNN AWAYYYYYYYYY

You know what? Most doctors office front staff are very empathetic to patients because they are there for a reason. I took an entire day off work and synchronized my doctors appointments for the day. This facility location is not really obvious and apparently GPS agrees because just a block away is another ob/gyn and I am certain there are more people than I that went to this wrong place that readily had proper directions and a phone number in which you only get VOICEMAIL. I called this number left a voicemail stating what happened and I was going to be a bit late. I got there 5 minutes after my appointment and the receptionist was told by a lady that sat next to her that I was passed my 15 minute grace period (it was 5minutes late) so I asked when does this grace period start. “It starts at your appointment time”. Remember I was only 5 minutes late so I told her no we were keeping this appointment because basically I still had 10 minutes based on their policy. I was unable to complete the forms online so the guiding lady told the receptionist I had to complete my paperwork in that 10 minutes so I did it in 4 and yeah I was happy about that because based on their policy I still wasn’t technically late! NOPE! I was told I had to be rescheduled! They gave me 15 minutes but took it away as if to punish me for getting lost. You know this place is actually in the hospital upstairs? This is a WALMART DOCTORS IFFICE! You will soon be diagnosing yourself like a self checkout. Losers! Poor horrified customer service most definitely the leadership is a huge reason and part of the problem or it wouldn’t have happened!

Not a good office. They do the bare minimum and just try to push you out as fast as possible.even the receptionists.very lazy.

I switched to this OBGYN when I was already 26 weeks into my pregnancy, having an awful experience at my last OB office. I was super nervous changing so far into my pregnancy and was worried that I wouldn’t have enough time to make a “connection” with the staff that ultimately would be taking care of me and my baby. I have had nothing but a great experience since day 1. I am so happy I made the choice to start coming to OBGYN associates and I only wish I made the choice much sooner. I will definitely go back to them with my next pregnancy! The staff is super attentive and caring, from the front desk that checks you in, to the staff that checks you out, all the nurses and providers you see in between, they are all great. Every concern or question I’ve had at any appointment has always been answered. They’ve always scheduled my appointments ahead for me, they do a reminder phone call and also print your next appointment sheet out for you. I always walk into my appointments knowing what I’m going to be seen for and I never have waited more than 15 minutes to be seen. I truly appreciate that they get you in and out but they do not sacrifice the attention and care for the sake of time either. They have ALOT of providers, whom I’ve met all of, and I can confidently say that I’m no longer worried about how my labor and delivery experience will go but excited to be in the hands of professionals who truly care for you and your baby. Also side note, Naomi is AWESOME. She is by far my favorite.

Everyone here is very nice, and it is nice to be treated well with professionalism and kindness from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Dr. Eric has been great since day 1. I began seeing him after having a terrible experience with my previous OB-GYN. I just felt ignored throughout the pregnancy. As a person of color, it’s important for me to be able to connect with my doctor and feel comfortable and not have my concerns ignored. For me, that doctor is Dr. Eric. I feel that everyone here is caring, they are always smiling and laughing, it’s a good atmosphere for patients. I will continue to come here. And I would absolutely recommend!

Laziest billing department on earth. Just got told they don’t believe in billing insurance at a later date. Lol never heard of a doctor’s office that doesn’t believe in doing their job. I have already had two kids and never had an issue when my husband switched jobs!
My husband’s new insurance card will be to me electronically in a half an hour, but if I want to be seen I have to pay $1,000 up front or I can’t be seen and they do not care if insurance back dates they won’t be checking. Also this has been discussed for weeks they knew this was coming and didn’t inform me until I showed up for this appointment. I guess I will find someone else to deliver my baby if they are not willing to care for their patients. Very disappointed.

Unethical billing department,
I have a letter right here from 2019 that says I was all paid up and all my weekly visits and labor was completely paid for/covered/ finished paying. Everything was all set to go. I gave birth and went on my way.
Went to schedule an annual and when I called they said it was $241.00 for me to be seen again, Absolutely ridiculous.
I have been going here since 2008!

You think they could have more communication in the billing department.

I'll find a New Ob! Thanks ALOT.

All the doctors at this office I have seen are amazing. Dr. Kaplan, Dr. Searle, Dr. Asher & Dr. Pulsfus. They are amazing at taking care of you during each prenatal visit and listen to you and your concerns. I was induced and it ended up taking almost 3 days for my baby to decide to come out. Dr. Needham saw me the first day and offered many different options to get my induction to speed up. Dr. Asher broke my water and the next day Dr. Searle delivered my baby. All of them listened to my concerns and had the best bedside manner. I was so happy Dr. Searle ended up delivering my baby as he is very sweet, gentle, and caring. The nurses in labor and delivery were also amazing and very attentive.
My only issue I had with the office was the ladies in billing. They didn’t listen to me several times causing me to overpay. They refunded me but not until after I called after my baby was delivered. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to save for maternity leave yet have to pay large amounts each month knowing they were over charging me. Hopefully I have no issues or have to deal with them in the future & hoping they figure out how to read peoples insurance policies instead of making up their own.

The best group of doctors, midwives and nurses! Couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received from everyone at this practice- the staff is always helpful and happy to attend to every need!

I hope that you choose any other option for your prenatal care. This place commits obstetric violence. I was told by one doctor when I told him that I did not want to consent to cervical checks, that I “wouldn’t even notice them in labor” and after confiding in another doctor that I am an abuse survivor, she coerced me into getting a cervical exam at 35 + 6 days for no reason. I was traumatized. I should’ve switched providers then, but when I had my baby with what I assumed would be the safest option being a midwife, I was not listened to in birth. They cut my baby’s cord without informed and explicit consent after coercing me when I said I didn’t want the cord cut. I had to advocate constantly for myself in labor which made it more stressful than it needed to be. They took my baby away and cut the cord against my wishes, and proceeded to yank my placenta out even though I wanted to deliver it naturally. If you have any plan or preference for your birth, please do not go here. They are actually facing a lawsuit currently from someone I know because they neglected her newborns health and now is facing consequences. I didn’t listen to my intuition and still went here, but you don’t have to. Trust your body and self, and choose literally anywhere else to have your care. You will leave this place traumatized. I am also autistic and bipolar and they have caused me massive trauma without support at all. They told me to just download “BetterHelp” app for therapy when I talked about my postpartum issues and concerns that they caused. If you choose to still go here, please please PLEASE hire a doula and learn about your birthing rights. Do not let them taint what is supposed to be a beautiful experience like they did to me. There is so much more they did during my birth but I hate reliving it. They actually gaslit me afterwards and were like “you had one of the most beautiful births I’ve seen”. Yeah I’m sure as they kept inviting people into the room to spectate me and I’m autistic so I wrote on my birth plan and told them there were too many people but they didn’t care.

I would give 10 stars if I could. The staff, doctors and nurses, honestly, every single person I have dealt with here has been amazing and helped me in any way they could. They have always been kind and courteous to me. Dr. Asher is a wonderful doctor. She is kind, caring, understanding and compassionate and I can't say enough good about her and this office.

My first appointment here was rescheduled 3 times, my second was rescheduled twice one the day before, I’ve also waited long long periods of time for most appointments. I met with one of the doctors to talk about my concerns and she was very rude, I was honest and told her I just wanted to make sure I had the support I needed for a VBAC and if I didn’t I wanted to understand so I could switch, she told me all about what they WOULDNT do, not in line with ACOG guidlines. I mentioned another doctor that I heard was supportive of what I wanted and she told me “well he sure is good at giving patients what they want” I switched doctors as soon as I left her office. When I got my records there were so many things wrong, things that I had written and told them. They even had my # of pregnancies wrong. Also make sure to check your insurance claims, their billing department is a mess. According to my insurance I should’ve told only paid around $100 we’ve paid $250 and they’re still sending bills. I’ve recieved amazing care at St. Augustine obgyn since leaving this practice. Update: 2 years ago I had a successful vbac with dr dhas at at Augustine obgyn, if I wouldn’t have left THIS practice that’s didn’t support my decision I have no doubt it would’ve ended in another c section.

This office does not respect women's reproductive rights! They're not trained to support women who are making a difficult choice. They are as predatory as crisis pregnancy centers. They will call the fetus a baby. They will suggest you get more ultrasounds. They will try to convince you miracles happen. They will tell you that you just need more time to think. If you are seeking honest support you won't find it here.

Easy to contact, professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind staff from making the appointment to being seen during the appointment and scheduling (if needed) follow up care. Office locations are easy to find, appointment reminders by email are timely and have all info you need in one place. Highly recommended Dr Jago and the team at Ob-gyn associates.

If you want to be fat shamed while pregnant by all means go here. Completely unprofessional and lacking in bedside manner.
