I have been taking cars to repair shops as a single woman for decades and I am not exaggerating when I say this is the very best experience I’ve had with a mechanic. I am from out of town and Anthony correctly diagnosed and repaired my Honda Element with care and efficiency. He took the time to explain the situation, charged me a very reasonable price, and looked over the car to make sure she was road safe. He was extremely honest and kind. I told him he could have charged me triple that and gotten away with it and he waved it off. This place is the real deal and Ocala residents are lucky Anthony and team are there!

Extremely knowledgeable and honest. Anthony and his staff helped us with the codes on our car and quickly found where our windshield wiper fluid was not spraying. They were able to answer all my questions and even direct me to other businesses that could help with things they didn't offer. I'll be using Anthony in the future.

O'Brien"s garage is the best. They are polite, stright forward, and they do excellent work. The best thing about them is that they DO NOT try to rip you off like dealerships when getting work done.

I read the reviews for this company and was rather impressed by what everyone was saying so I decided to schedule an appointment to get my car fixed. I don't trust a lot of mechanics because once they see you're a female some times their prices are higher or they try to tell you more things are wrong with your car then what is really the problem. The reason I am writing this review is for several reasons. First, I don't feel like they took advantage of me at all. Second, I do know a little about cars and replaced my O2 sensor, spark plugs and the coils. So when I took my car in I didn't tell them any of that to see what they would tell me the issue was. I am happy to report when I got the call from Anthony he specifically told me that he checked these 3 things above because they might have been the problem but he saw no issues with them. After checking the car he said it was the injectors which made perfect sense and definitely not something I was going to fix myself. Third, the price wasn't terrible. This shop has earned my trust and my business from here on out and wouldn't take my car any where else. If you're looking for an honest mechanic check out O'Brian's as you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend!
A rare gem is hidden in Ocala. An honest and fair mechanic that does great work! My dad found O'Brien's when he was in need. So when my AC went out that's where I went. I had looked online for what a new compressor might cost and the range was $800-$1200! OBrien's not only fixed and installed my new compressor for $860 but apparently there was all kinds of problems finding the right compressor (I have a GT which made things complicated) and getting it so I wouldn't be without my car an extra day. The owner called around to multiple part shops to find the right part. He also discovered the part would be more expensive because it was specialized and he did not change the estimated price!
The people at O'Brien's are honest, hardworking, and more than fair. I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want to share them with anyone. They are a precious gift to our community.

They don't work on Transmissions at all. A mechanic that does not work on a transmission? Bizarre. How can you call yourself a mechanic

Wow. I had never heard of O'Brien's, but was SO impressed and happy with the forthright treatment; Anthony was unruffled by all the work at hand, was unhurried and went above and beyond to see that I got my car back promptly, even though there was no rush. Thank you, Anthony, and your "right hand man", for excellent service.

I had ny car towed from another shop to here. I use Obriens all the time and unfortunately used someone else that I feel isn't so honest. Obrien looked at my car immediately to at least advise the issue. Although it came to him too late to enjoy the reservations I made weeks ago for my birthday, at least he gave me piece of mind and said he'll try to get it to me in the morning. I appreciate him so much and love that he's so honest.

The wait was bad but they still did good. Kept me informed about what was going on with my car.
