Dr. Pemba is very helpful, honest and professional. In my case, because of my test results, he said my hearing issue can likely be fixed and suggested I see a Ear Nose Throat Doctor before we go down the hear aid route. I got the feeling he wants to help his patients.

Dr. Pemba provided an educational forum to our senior group and spoke in a non- technical language everyone could understand. I attended an over 55 seminar and Dr. Pemba was the speaker. My hearing has been getting progressively worse for the past 20 years due to working around loud noises and I have hissing sound in my ears. I was skeptical that any hearing device could help me but I wanted to learn about new technology and see if there were any possible solutions. I liked how forthright Dr. Pemba was about about which hearing conditions could be helped with hearing aids and which ones could not. I had heard so many stories about people spending a lot of money for aids that did not work and I did not want to be one of them. He explained in words I could understand the hearing process, types of hearing aids and what services I should get when purchasing hearing aids. Ultimately I scheduled an appointment with him (still a little skeptical) but what the heck, I had nothing to lose, right? He moved forward with a very thorough exam, then reviewed the results with me and said he thought I could benefit from aids. He fitted me with a loaner pair and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable they were and for the first time in years I could hear and understand conversations without reading lips. There was never any pressure from Dr. Pemba to purchase anything, he truly is interested in helping people hear better and not just selling hearing aids. I recommend him to anyone who has hearing issues and wants an honest and professional evaluation of their hearing problems and possible solutions. He also has a great sense of humor and a very comfortable easy going manner. So glad I kept my appointment with him.

I started using Dr. Pemba this summer. He is an excellent Doctor and listens well. After a discussion and some extensive testing he made recommendation on the best hearing aid for my situation. After fitting he set up several follow up visits to answer my many questions after the first week. He adjusted my hearing aids to further meet my needs. We again met a week later to confirm that the adjustment was successful. His door is always open, I trust him!

Dr. Pemba met with my husband and me for an evaluation of my husband. He was extremely patient oriented, thorough, professional and made the visit a very positive experience. I would recommend him to anyone who has hearing issues.

I have tinnitus. So I made an appointment thinking that I had wax buildup. Dr advised that fee was $75. I was ok with it. Got to the appt. He started the exam, discovered there was absolutely nothing in my ear. He didn’t even charge me. Lol. Amazing experience. He was very nice and friendly.

I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Pemba previously. A patient once described her first encounter with him, and it was quite cute. As he walked into the room, she thought he was tall, big, and imposing. It took about 2 minutes for her to figure out he was just a "big teddy bear". He fit her with hearing aids, and she was extremely satisfied. More than one person has described him this way because he honestly cares about his patients. Dr. Pemba's focus is not on "making the sale" but rather on doing what's best for the patient. He cares about his patients and treats them like family. Dr. Pemba is TERRIFIC!

When I first saw Dr. Pemba I was a little nervous. But after 5 minutes I found him to be very compassionate, understanding and truly listens to me. He loves his patients as family and never hesitates to go out of his way to help.

After he tested my hearing, he took the time to go over the results in depth and with visuals to give me a clear understanding of my hearing issues and what we can do to correct it. He also helped my husband and I learn ways in which we could improve our communication at home due to my hearing loss. He never once pressured me into buying anything and made me feel a whole lot better about my condition and how to move forward. I highly recommend him!

I am new to the area ….
Dr Pemba is very thorough, professional and personable. He made the necessary adjustments to my ‘ears’ at my first visit. Since it was different than what I had been use to, within a few days made another adjustment. They are now perfect! Dr. Pemba called the following day to ensure the adjustment was good. Assured me that he was available for any further needs to my ears (hearing aids). I feel super blessed to have found him and will recommend him to anyone with audiology needs/concerns.
