Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Club, Daytona Beach FL

Very busy yet food was very good and after dinner we threw frizzbie on the beach with the kids. Very good service.

Great quick place to eat. Had bar type food and drinks with a few seafood options.
It was right on the beach.
We chose to sit downstairs which is first come first serve.

Atmosphere was good and the waitress was able to take care of us quickly for how busy they were. Food and drinks were great too!

The food was great, and filling. I loved the shrimp combination dish, and my boyfriend had trouble finishing his burger. Lots of food. The waitresses are very attentive, and there is karaoke available, too. A really fun place.

I can understand the really long wait to get into the restaurant. It was busy rush×. I was patient with our server who was obviously overwhelmed by the number of tables she was attending to. I even gave her a tip.

I'm giving 1 star because the managers were condescending, indifferent and rude. They couldn't even handle a busy but rudimentary Monday evening service. A whole lot of standing around and watching this hot mess.

For instance, half of our table, the kids meals, recieved their meals. Then almost 40 mins later, the rest of the party still did not receive our meals.

Tables that came after us ate and left during this.

When we had the nerve to ask what was going on, mind you we were not rude at all, the managers acted like we were the problems and wouldn't even listen long enough to fix the issues.

Then when the rest of the meals finally came out, they weren't prepared properly. Over a 2 hour wait to get a steak that was not cooked properly and mushy old rice.

C'mon, man!

Ok, I'll add 1/2 star because my wife said the crab legs were decent and my wings were actually good.

I love this place and eat here every time I'm in Daytona Beach. The food is great and being beachside the view is awesome.

I have been to Ocean Deck several times and this has been the worst experience by far. It was super busy and beyond packed on a Monday. The downstairs is first come first serve so you literally have to sit down at a dirty table then wait for someone to come over and half way clean it for you. I saw several people just clean the table off themselves. I had ordered steamed oysters and shrimp, which took over an hour to recieve. The waitress was kind of rude and all over the place. When my food finally came there were big clumps of sand all over the oysters. I brought this to the waitress attention only for her to tell me "we dont clean them, we just shuck and steam them" At this point I'm concerned as to what else they dont clean? I'm giving them 2 stars because at least the drinks are good. Hopefully the drinks are strong enough to kill off all the bacteria from the tables and unwashed food.

We came to this place at new year’s, expecting an average/low quality service since it was super busy. However our waitress, sorry I forgot her name, was extremely nice and friendly and very considerate! We really appreciate her great service. The food (crab legs and grouper) were fresh and tastes good too!

Loved the location! My family and I sat facing ocean and truly enjoyed oysters shrimp and drink specials You can't miss with this place Seating upstairs with view or downstairs with live music and ocean breezes Every time we visit we are sure to stop in

Atmosphere and food were both very nice. Kind of a cozy bar feel, with the Christmas lights and stockings it was nice. The food was good but not great, well worth the price for what you get and we all ordered drinks and all of them were good and well made!

Its just not 5 star food, but its also not 5 star food prices (:

Way too loud in the bottom portion of the resteraunt, even by partying standards, went for a good time, left with permanent hearing damage thanks y'all, the menu doesn't have soft drink (soda) prices listed this is to encourage you to buy only liquor and beer so that after a few, you'll wind up spending close to $40 before you leave. Can't speak for the food but does seem overpriced they seem to prey on people who can't hold their liquor, you also have to pay $15 dollars for parking (that's excluding the valet parking they have). Overall unless your a near deaf person with money to lose I wouldn't go especially not to the bottom portion.

I had the mahi mahi sandwich with a little Rasta sauce on the side. It was dark out and foggy but I got a seat right by the beach where the breeze blew into the restaurant. The service was great and prompt. There was an acoustic guitarist singing classics and the place had an awesome ambience. The sandwich was recommended by the waiter and was delicious. Definitely one of the coolest places I've eaten while in Daytona.

The atmosphere is great. The restaurant sits right on the beach. Great breeze. The food and service? Clam chowder is always goodg If you are looking for a good atmosphere to drink then this is the place.

This place is awesome! We had a Rasta burger and crab legs tonight and everything tasted great, was hot when it arrived, and the burger was cooked as ordered. We’ve encountered Graham, Cassie, Ashley, and Chuck recently and they all made the experience top notch. And the beer is always cold!

Its a beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean.
We had dinner upstairs to eat outside. The food is really good.

Loved our experience dinning here yesterday. Staff was friendly and the food was amazing! Read the reviews here before going and I laughed at the people complaining about chicken fingers.who goes to a seafood place and gets chicken fingers? We had the gator bites, burger, mahi mahi sandwich and fried tanker combo. Our meal was amazing!

My favorite place to go for good fresh seafood! Love sitting downstairs while the ocean breeze comes in through the open windows.

Ocean Deck is the epic destination in Daytona Beach great food and live music overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, their reggae group C Posse is phenomenal!

Great place! Live music or Karaoke. Delicious fish. Huge Burgers - you gotta try the impossible double stack burger with everything! Staff is also super nice and friendly. Bit pricy but worth it.

First visit for my wife and I. Come to Ormond and Daytona often. Food and service was great. We will definitely be returning.
