Ocean Key Resort & Spa, Key West FL

I want to give a huge shout-out to Keith who works at this resort. A wonderful, kind, and helpful man who deserves more than he is getting.

You see, my husband and I were having dinner at The Hot Tin Roof and because my husband has a disability walking they suggested for us to take the elevator down to the parking area.
My husband waited seated comfortably in a beautiful area of the hotel while I retrieved our car from the parking lot a few blocks away.

When I got to the hotel there all gates were locked, only guests could go in.
I went to the lobby and ask how could I access the area where my husband was waiting and Keith volunteer to show me.

Not only he came with me, he drove my car because it was complicated, and helped my husband to get into the car.

Great location and fantastic pool (heated and water view) as weather was unseasonably cold. Front desk staff were very pleasant. Room (suite was huge) but needed a refresh, a bit worn. Only major complaint was hot water was very inconsistent, had to run for 10 minutes to get hot water. For the price you expect more.

If you want the best of the best, stay here. My wife and I have stayed several times. My favorite, the ocean front one bedroom. There is nothing better than waking up and having breakfast on your balcony overlooking the ocean eating fabulous food, and maybe a adult " start the day" beverage. Everything from the room, food, service, front desk and maintenance is top notch.

Loved this place. We stayed for 5-nights, expecting to sleep there only and roam the town. Instead we stayed there at least half a day each day, enjoying delicious room service breakfast, the beautiful oceanside pool and its great bar service, and jet skis. If you're extra lucky, a green creature will visit you on your balcony.

I want here years ago and it was amazing. You can’t beat the location as it’s right on the water and next to sunset Square. The rooms are also very nice and it has an attached dockside restaurant and bar. The pool is there gonna small but that’s typical for Key West. They have a nice valet and a destination electric charger. Recommend.
