Ocean Waters Spa, Daytona Beach FL

Went in for a ocean water spa service, it was amazing, the gentleman who gave me the massage was very professional and i really enjoyed the therapeutic massage i was given OVERALL EXCELENT SERVICE WILL DEFINITLY COME BACK

I'm soooo disappointed in this spa.
Overall it wasn't what I think of when I think of a day spa. It's more or a in and out Spa like you can get anywhere. I had high expectations going to a spa in The Plaza but unfortunate not met.
1st thing that's missing is the fluffy robe and matching slippers. You don't get slippers at all just walk around in your dirty street shoes and the robes are rough.
While the steam room was nice the jacuzzi was a bit dirty. Bugs floating in it even though it's inside.
No salt room to relax in odd for a day spa.
The utopia room was ok but also not what we expected. Just cheap uncomfortable chairs with pop up foot stools you can sit in.
The complementary mini muffins were very good and the teas were nice while we waited.
As far as the massages we all enjoy them. Overall I had the best experience. I believe his name was Dan and he did a fantastic job. He gets 5 stars.
My mom had and absolutely terrible facial from Tashanna. She said she's been doing facials for 10 years but my mom thought it was her first facial. She refused to do the facial my mom asked for. Then the $140. Facial she gave her was just a steamed towl a quick wipe down. And a very stinky lotion sitting on her face while she rubbed her neck and shoulders followed by more hot towel. (She should have asked about the lotions smell considering my mom has migraines and smells as a trigger on her intake chart) she slopped the lotion in my mom's eye. Something that was still bothering her hours later. Even after bringing this up before we left everything that my mom had to say seemed invalid because she's the manager and she knows what she's doing. We payed and left.
Called the next day to speak with the manager. (Still Tashanna) after 10 minutes of arguing back and forth she gave my mom 25% off of the facial price.
If you are set on going to the plaza definitely skip the facial and requests Dan for a massage. Is my overall recommendation. But you can save quite a bit of money just going to a little whole in the wall massage place.

I am so happy with my decision to get a massage. Front desk referred David Patterson and he did not disappoint. Magic fingers to say the least. I am so relaxed. The perfect way to start off my vacation anniversary. Great personality and accommodating as well. Went over every area of “extra care” points to address during service and gave me an experience that only a professional can give. Thank you to this amazing spa for hiring this PRO! 5 STAR SERVICE!

The experience was wonderful! It was my first time here and the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. I had Jae as my massage therapist, she was very nice and professional. The location had a wonderful atmosphere and is perfect for anyone looking for a spa place in the Daytona area

Sometime after using the fitness center in my hotel then running the Seabreeze Boulevard bridge to and fro I realized I'd need a massage. I looked on Yelp mobile after returning for my run, and this was the first spa on my list. It was 6 blocks from my hotel - or a 2 minute uber ride. Located in the basement of the Plaza Hotel, I felt like I was going to some venetian oasis. I noticed that besides the massage and skin care areas, they also provide manicure and pedicure.

Side note: The elevator down to the spa is by their restaurant, which at least their brunch looked droolworthy for my next trip.

I filled out a form upon sign up detailing where I needed more work (lower back & legs), whether I've had massage before, etc. Jae, my massage therapist, checked out a few spots and offered their added option for a different massage lotion for my sunburned back. I wasn't too bad and continued with the regular one.

The rest. I drifted off to LaLaLand and woke up refreshed with no muscle soreness and calm enough with the forthcoming flight delays. I'd definitely come back here my next Daytona trip!

Nice little spa. With some amenities. There is a small sauna, small whirlpool that was a bit gunky the day we were there. Shower area could use a curtain so you can have some privacy. Nice sized locker room, and dressing area. Polite staff. Was not crazy about my facial. A lot of firm downward strokes around my eyes and jawline. No extractions, or steam used on me.

Staff was friendly but not worth $100. She didn't use the foot file to remove dead skin. I'm not sure if she was new or just in a rush to leave for the day since I was the last appt.

The hot tub was broken and the pricing wasn't clear but the service was wonderful and the facility was very nice.

What can I say but absolutely breathtaking gorgeous some things are a little overpriced but other than that absolutely beautiful

Took my sister here for her bachelorette party and everyone had an amazing experience! The staff was great and the manger, went above and beyond for us to feel pampered and relaxed! She worked with me, kept in contact, made herself available to answer my questions- the whole process went smoothly. I highly recommend this spa. All of us ladies felt super relaxed for our massages and pedis. Thank you again! ️

Elegant spa experience! They offer mimosas, wine, coffee, tea and water during your visit. I had the spa pedicure and manicure one day and came back for youthful facial. Services were pricey however you can utilize their jacuzzi, steam room and locker room facilities when you have pay for a service. I had Inna for all of my services both days who was very polite, professional and took great care of me! She was clean in all of the tools she used and made me feel very comfortable. Pleasant conversation and even suggested a few other places to check out for fun while I'm staying in Daytona.

MASSAGE- Had a great massage experience with David. They even offer a drink after. Did their signature 90 min massage.
BODY TREATMENT- Did the 80 min mud wrap detox with Beth. She was awesome & i have done the mud detox many time in different places. She was very knowledgeable & very professional. Felt super soft after the treatment & smelled fabulous like a pina coloda.

The lady running the front deck was also super friendly and helped move things around to accommodate requested time slots.
Thank you so much for a great weekend. Offered awesome petit-fors snacks. Co- Ed hot tub and steam room as well but bring a bathing suit, haha.

Ocean Wastes Spa provides exceptional service. Beth was amazing. I would definitely go back for another treatment!

David gave me the best massage on my vacation. He was firm without the pain. The location is gorgeous and the staff friendly. I highly recommend this spa and specially David!

This spa has a 48 hour cancellation policy, however, I received a call the day prior to my appointment suggesting I switch from a full body couple massage to either a massage and a facial or separate appointment times. Now maybe a crazy question but WHO has ever wanted to flip from a massage to a facial? If something came up for me and I had to cancel outside of their window would they be accommodating? A review on Yelp suggests not.
When I declined the service switch and stated to just cancel out the appointment all together the woman on the phone hesitated but said she would. I requested an email to confirm the cancellation, which has still not been received hours later.

I got massages here and loved them until on day I was late for my pedicure They have terrible late fees will charge you the full cost of your service if something happens & your not there on time they charged me $70 for NOTHING didn’t get anything for it I even asked if I could buy more services and have it go towards that to make up for it but nope. Never going here again. Wouldn’t recommend.
