Beautiful hotel. 6 pools! Room is very spacious. Restaurant on site food was really good. Very quiet when we were there. Carpet in rooms stained. They desperately need to be cleaned. Hair around shower door and on tissue holder in bathroom. Staff were nice and accommodating. We did a late check out. Great location to Duvall Street. Free shuttle (we didn't use). Beware! The fees charged at the resort are really high. They charge about $85 extra a day to stay there in addition to the price of the hotel room cost. (We prepaid) there is a resort fee $48 per day and parking fee $25 per day as well as extra taxes. None of this was explained at checkin. I figured there would be a resort fee, most resorts have them, but $85 extra per day is steep. I would definitely come back. Now that I understand how much extra the fees will be. We had a great time.

On July 17,2023 I checked in 2 rooms and the receptionist charged me for a resort fee at $84/room/night.
When I booked the hotel, it didn’t show me the resort fee charge and it wasn’t until I checked in that they told me about the fee.
Be careful when you book this resort because the price you see on the website may be different from what you’re paying at check-in

Hotel itself is lovely. Very clean overall. The staff never speaks to you. I went into the lobby many times and not a word was spoken to me. Hung out at the pool and the guy taking drink orders never spoke to me or asked if I would like something despite me making eye contact. Needs improvement there.

Room smelled of extreme fast food at checkin. Asked to switch rooms. Apparently, the only one available was next to trash area and kitchen, which was worse. After pool towels run out at pool, they don’t get replenished. If you are staying here because of AMEX and expecting it to be higher end, find another hotel. If it weren’t for AMEX, would have stayed at the Marriott.

Excellent service, great location and the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Very key west style with modern design.

Been here since Friday and have had room service 1 time only and yes we did want it everyday. Have had to ask for towels everyday. We are here until Wednesday so hopefully it gets better

Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfy rooms. Pools, restaurant, live music. Scooter accessible. Shuttle to downtown. Nice quiet retreat.

Worst customer service ever. The manager, Claudia is very rude. I would avoid going to this hotel as much as possible. Not helpful at all and very inattentive! No wonder other reviewers also gave them bad ratings and it's true! I would avoid this place as much as possible. We are paying top dollar for the worst customer service ever!

This Is not a resort. We showed up for our honeymoon and the girl at the front desk was not very welcoming. We checked in and our room was ok but not amazing. I mean we paid a good amount of money to be wowed and that was not the case. Bathroom was nice but the shower leaked and I killed a cockroach in the floor the second night here. There was food and other objects by the bed that were never cleaned and stayed untouched by the room service. The location is terrible, you have to Uber to the island for anything to do cause the area around the “resort” is not very nice. I was charged more fees when I left for “resort” fees which is a nice kick in the shin after regretting having paid any money to stay there. We actually left one day early to go to another hotel cause we couldn’t spend one more day here. This place is absolutely dog water.

Thanks to Liana for helping us book a room with a fabulous view at this lovely resort! We enjoyed our four nights and appreciate her helping us find Ocean’s Edge. We will be back.

From the moment that you drive through the gates, you arrive upon a beautiful front porch with rocking chairs, just beyond the front doors were greeted by the most wonderful staff ever.

Riana was there to check us in, and was super friendly and was extremely informative about the resort, where our room was located, hours for pool and restaurant. We were traveling with our dog Riley who is 9 and had cancer and Riana was so sweet and kind to him and even gave him a complementary water bowl that attached to his leash, and some cute little snacks that were all wrapped up in a little gift bag.

Once we were checked in at the front desk, Sam was so helpful and carried all of our bags into the room, make sure we had everything we needed for our stay and was a super pleasant young man and extremely helpful. He made two trips out to the car, and did it all with a smile and amazing attitude.

The first night there, we had dinner at the Yellow Fin restaurant located on-site and decided to sit at the bar. John was really friendly and welcoming. We had the pleasure of meeting Cindy as well the restaurant manager and she had some elegant selections of wine to enjoy while having dinner and then suggested a nice bottle of champagne for later on in the evening. We brought it back to our room and enjoyed it on the beautiful porch, while watching all of the boats pulling in for the evening.

Throughout our stay, we had booked two tours through Tanyo at the concierge’s desk. He was super helpful and friendly and we enjoyed all of our excursions. Especially the dolphin safari. It was amazing and I will write a separate review for that trip only because it truly deserves it own review! It was amazing.

Any questions that we had were answered by Stephanie King the front desk supervisor, no matter what time of day she had a smile on her face, and was willing to help along with the super helpful staff of Shundell, Kaye, Omar and Sandi. Every single person so we encountered while on our stay at the property was just so friendly, welcoming, and made us feel very comfortable and we will absolutely be returning.

Also, I have to point out that the rooms were well appointed, tastefully decorated and very modern but yet with a beach vibe. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms are extremely large, and the property was very, very peaceful. We enjoyed swimming in the pools and there are six of them. They have hammock swings on site, comfortable lounge chairs and having a full-service restaurant on site was such a plus. It gives you the flexibility of staying on the property if you wish and not worrying about food, drinks, etc.

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay, relax and unwind Ocean Edge Key West Resort and Marina is the place to go. We loved that it was close enough to get to downtown Keywest, but also it enabled us to get out of the hustle and bustle when needed. They also have golf carts on site that you can rent to go downtown. And if you want to stay back and chill in the evenings it was just so peaceful and quiet, and we also loved that there was Security on site and it’s gated.

We highly recommend this property and we are looking forward to go back soon.

We just arrived so this is a first impressions review, but also very important because I feel those can sometimes set the tone for a trip.

We arrived under-slept, under-nourished, and under-caffeinated, and while that didn’t cause us to be any less kind, it did mean finding out we had 2 rooms due to a booking credit card snaffu took us a second to process mentally. What Oceans Edge staff did was superbly, kindly, and enthusiastically help us through it. They couldn’t even unilaterally fix it, because it was not a mistake on their end. But they told us what to do next to fix it.

We went and had breakfast at that point and while the servers were definitely busy, they were so nice and helpful. Bonus was that the Cafe Con Leche and breakfast burrito were fantastic.

When we got to our room, we went back to talk to the front desk staff asking if any changes could be accommodated as we expected a room in a different location on the property. We were willing to wait as we were early for check in. And they didn’t hesitate to help us. We had to wait for a room to be prepared, but that gave us time to talk to Liam about a sunset dolphin watch and snorkeling trip. Also, Patrick gave us tips on shopping for some extra snacks for when we explore the islands and was so helpful with our bags.

Needless to say, we are now relaxing poolside but had to say, so excited for the next 3 days here.

Good service means so much these days. Thank you.

This place was a perfect trip for my girlfriend and I. Very peaceful, beautiful, and the staff was spot on. Pools were clean, food was amazing, and the iguanas and chickens were awesome as well! Will definitely visit again.

Be careful, do not book this hotel with free cancellation thinking you have no costs! This hotel debits a deposit from your card which, despite the dollar and bank charges, is not fully refunded to you! And the hotel does not want to know anything!
