Official Florida Welcome Center reviews
13The bathroom was very clean. The welcome center was closing when we stopped so we didn't get to go in.
Nice rest area with delicious juice service. On the menu, orange juice and grapefruit juice, perfect for starting a getaway to Florida.
This welcome Center is located right off the interstate with ample parking and a semi large rest stop. The restroom is about average but there are many stalls. When stopping in the middle of the night you will notice that it is posted on the doors that you have to go to the rear of the building to use the restroom which is open 24 hours. There are also multiple vending machines for snacks and drinks. The picnic pavilions are A+ and suitable for large groups.
This location needs to give clear directions on how to get to the 24-hour section (rear location) of the rest stop because it is not clearly marked whatsoever. There is no easy way for accessibility challenged patrons to access the 24-hour section if they arrived at the other entrances.
Highly recommended for a quick stop.
This place had to have been updated since we last stopped on a trip. The tourist area looks like a library inside and has all the pamphlets organized, and they have a juice bar with orange and grapefruit juices. It looks great
Tons of literature available. They were giving free citrus juice samples away. Tons of n vending machine options. It was great.
For years this has been our stop to stay over for the night with our camper. As soon as we pulled in a guard pulled in front of us lights binding us and tells us we can only stay for 3 hours. The kit wasn’t even half full. He said we could possibly stay longer it depended on how many more trucks pull in. We left and won’t return.
Very clean rest area. They have an area to walk the dogs and they offer free orange or grapefruit juice
Had to use facilities on the way back from Georgia. Realized I never stopped here before. Nice walk ways and picnic areas. Very clean kept restrooms. Went inside to center where your greeted with fresh sample of orange or grapefruit juice. Huge display of information and visitor pamphlets. Even though I lived here 25 years, I grabbed a few for places farther south. They also have an information desk to help with hotels and reservations for your destination area. Great place to take a break!
This is a Great Place to be Welcomed to Florida! You get your choice of Free Orange or Grapefruit Juice. Staff is willing to help you find your destination and/or attractions. You can buy "SunPass" here as long as the Lobby is open. Closes at 5pm. Bathrooms are Clean and Wheelchair accessible. This is the first place you will encounter Palm Trees in Florida!
This one is a little dated and could use an update, but all in all it's still nice. We always try to stop into welcome centers when we travel. They are a great place to get info about the state you are entering. As a plus when stopping by a FL welcome center you get fresh Orange or Grapefruit juice!
It's a traditional stop whenever my wife and I travel. Enjoy a sip of orange juice as well as sightseeing brochures. Wonderful way to connect with Florida.
20231205 This time I arrived in the morn7ng and saw the big FL welcome Arch at the entrance to the parking lot! Nice!
20221106 Pretty neat welcome center highlighting some of the State's attractions. I stopped by after it was closed. The restrooms stay open. The Welcome to FL sign was not as impressive as I was hoping considering the huge Welcome I got when I crossed the border from GA. The sign is also way too high. The parking area is large and love the palm trees. The GA Welcome Center right after leaving SC is real nice. With FL having so much tourists coming through for its attractions, I expected this rest stop to be much nicer.
