Oishi Japanese Hibachi & Sushi Restaurant, Orlando FL

Bullcrap. Only had one cook, and one set of guest being served and wanted me order hibachi while they cooked it in the back and brought it out. No I'm good. I wanted the experience

Hours say open at 11am, note on the door says 1pm which is understandable at this time which is slow for them. I have a problem when you are outside the front door at 1: 15pm and they are sitting in Plain site of you and act like you're not there

Atmosphere was incredible, quiet, and clean! Food portions were plentiful and the Chefs were amusing and talented. Definitely recommend it.

The 1 star they didn't get: the prices were a bit higher than expected and there is no online menu so we didn't know what to expect coming in. They were not as affordable as they used to be. It cost over $100 for 2 of us.

I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I saw it was highly rated and I must say that it is justified. The staff are welcoming, food was delicious with a whole array of choices. I would definitely recommend this place if you want great food and welcoming environment.

Love all the colors in their dishes! Yakisoba was delicious but I didn’t care for the seaweed flakes, if you don’t like super ocean like flavors I’d take it off or get it on the side.

The restaurant was amazing. Our chef was out of this world and she was totally awesome. The food and entertainment was worth the money. Since there was only four of us sitting at the table, she included all of us in the show and would not let us back out when she tossed egg into our mouth. She kept everyone involved and entertained.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered donburi and got half chewed meat product dumped over day old rice and tossed in a box with my salad. I’m disgusted. I don’t even want to share photo and ruin anyones appetite.

Good food. But for a sushi experience is more than food, waiting for a sit in a empty restaurant was a lot, and the person in the front was so distracted, he didn’t even realize that I was there. Unprofessional look for almost everybody…

This is probably one of the lowest ratings I've ever left. It's THAT bad. The female chef assigned to us was so bad it was almost comical, like out of a cartoon. She missed about 90% of her tricks and throws. The egg throw? Missed 3 out of 3 times and got egg white on my sleeves. Onion train was a mess, a spatula barely missed us after a failed juggle and she laughed it off, and so did we! Trying to keep good spirits. Hey, I'm all for giving a new chef a chance but that was embarassing, ridiculous and kinda dangerous. Good thing our friends had never been to a hibachi before so they had no way to compare.

We arrived and waited about 5 minutes but no one acknowledged we were there. I asked a gentleman working there if we could sit in a booth and he pointed to a booth and smiled. We started to sit and the hostess came running over and asked, "What are you doing? " I told her we were going to sit there. She said, "Oh no you're not! Go up front and wait. It'll be around 15 minutes. " There was no one waiting. There were empty tables. I told her I'm not waiting and left. She was very rude and bossy. Power grab!

Very friendly! Our chef while great personality may have been new.rice was very crunchy. But we enjoyed ourselves and will give another try.

Food is decent and seating is comfortable. Not a wow place but a good place for gathering and a quiet dinner. If you have yelp, will get 10% off your bill

This Japanese restaurant is one of my favorites. Great environment in a very nice location. My fav roll is snow white roll. Can’t wait to come back. Good food great service!

My family and I stopped by here for some great sushi and was very pleased by the wonderful food and great service try the Oishi roll it was extra yummy!

Receptionist was very impolite and called customers stupid In their face. We have been coming here for years but the way he treated customers did give a bad vibe about the business. This is not the first time I hear about this particular receptionist from neighbors since we live in the same area

We had the best Hibachi Experience for a very reasonable price. The set meal is so delicious and a complete meal in itself. The staff is so warm & accommodating, refiiling our drinks before we ask and definitely exceeding our expectations!

If you are looking for a new place that’s affordable yet filling, I will definitely recommend Oishi!

We love hibachi and have been trying out the nearby restaurants since we just moved nearby. I can’t speak for the sushi, but we got two hibachi meals for pick up and it was the worst we’ve ever had. The chicken and shrimp were okay, fried rice was just bad all around, and the noodles were nothing special. It’s so bad that we never finished it and opted to make frozen pizza instead. The food was all packaged really well, so I guess that’s a positive.
