Captain Billy is a hoot. We had a great time out on the water with this true Fort Pierce native. He’s had a life time on the water here and did not give up when we were facing less than favorable conditions out in the river. The wind was blowing one way, the tide was heading another but fear not! Captain Billy found us the perfect spot and we went home with plenty to make delicious fish tacos. Captain Billy was great with my kiddos and they learned so much from him today. But…DON’T YOU DARE even think about bringing a banana on board! I had no idea this was a HUGE superstition until I grabbed one out of my bag and decided to have a snack. We didn’t catch anything until we got rid of all banana related materials. You learn something new every day! Thank you captain for a great time on the water.

Just fished with Capt Billy at Old Florida Guide Service. This was a fantastic day and he made it not only fun and entertaining bit we caught fish. 2 slot snook and keeper Cubera snapper. Caught smaller snook and broke off too many. Capt Billy put us on fish all day. Highly recommend Capt Billy and would hire him again.

Did a four trip on January 25, started around 7: 30 AM. Met Captain Billy at the marina, his boat was in the water the four of us got aboard and off we went. The boat was perfect for our group of four with space for all to fish and not end up with tangled lines. We wanted fish that we could eat, our first stop we caught a couple of snappers and sheepshead, but struggled to feel the bite. The captain made some suggestions and then moved to another spot.
We did much better at the second stop. Lost a couple of really big fish, all of us were catching fish and caught more then we needed for a meal. Our final stop we targeted snook, a couple were hooked one was landed. All had a great time. The Captain, the boat, and the equipment was all first rate. Ten out of Ten, Five stars, Will use him again!

Went fishing with Captain Billy on February 1st, we went to spots on the river and caught snook and variety of other fish. Then we Went to the North Jetty and landed some big snook and Jacks. We were looking for Snook and went down to power plant. Right away we caught a big snook and when it was coming into the boat “the tax man” took half of it. I pulled up half of a 15 pound snook. While we were bringing it into the boat we heard banging on the bow of the boat and realized two bull sharks aka “the tax man” were attacking the trolling motor shaking the boat. Once everything calmed down we realized what happened. I could hear the music ofJaws playing. After we went to North beach and limited out with big sheephead and snapper.

It was a great day, Billy was a great Captain, he knew where to find the fish! Ready to go again. Thanks again Billy. Was a special day of fishing!
