Olive Garden Italian Restaurant reviews
17I was at the Olive Garden with my daughter and granddaughters and my 2 great granddaughters and the food was great and our waitress was very professional and very helpful.
Usually good food but just bit into pepper in salad and set my mouth on fire I have never had a pepper that hot in a salad in my life caused to lose my appetite
Are waiter Dominic was awesome he really loves his job and he does great with the customers he had six tables that day and he made sure that we had drinks he made sure that we if we needed anything he was there for us we will be back in the future
Our server Kolby was absolutely amazing today. My sister and I came in for lunch and the whole experience was great. He was very attentive, funny & gave great recommendations on drink and food orders. All in all the food was very good but our experience with Kolby will be bringing us back and requesting his as our server. We can not say enough good things.
Our server Dimitri was wonderful. He was so patient and kind, not to mention quick. Would definitely come again and request him.
Saturday night and an hour wait time which is expected. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Food was as advertised, bathrooms could've been cleaned a bit more. But overall, good place to have dinner.
2nd time here in the past few months with a large party. The wait for food after we ordered was over an hour & I sent my steak back. Do not recommend.
The last two times I came here I got the same slow, non-responding waiter. The guy had an irritating attitude too.
I will never eat at the Olive Garden again! The waiter was absolutely awful, we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks and then probably another 30 minutes before he brought us our salad, which only had one black olive in it and cold breadsticks. The two appetizers we ordered came out with the main meal, I ordered the eggplant Parmesan, I never got it, the waiter informed me when he brought my parents food out, that they didn’t even have any eggplant. Needless to say, by then I had lost my appetite, I had to wave down another waiter to bring us a refill on our iced tea. I really wanted this to be a nice dinner for my parents, who are both almost 90 years old and were looking forward to going there.
Yesterday I went into this Olive Garden to pick up a large order that had been placed by my company for an event we were throwing I was instructed not to leave a tip by upper management and seeing as it was not my order nor would I be paying for it, I had no authority to go against this. I want to make it clear that this was a large order and I ABSOLUTELY do believe that the people helping to make and pack the food deserved a tip but again that wasn’t up to me. When I arrived at the counter I was handed a receipt to sign by a waitress. I signed and left no tip as I was instructed to do by my management. She sneered at me, walked a few steps away and proceeded to scream expletives to the other people working about “how dare she look me in my eye and not leave a tip. ” Multiple people shushed her or told her to wait until I left and she said that she didn’t care “when that b**** couldn’t even tip”. Look, I get it, I work in customer service and sometimes it is rough, but her behavior was absolutely inappropriate. The food was delicious according to the events attendees and all of the other people I interacted with were incredibly pleasant, including the woman who helped me out to my car, but after some reflection, I didn’t deserve to be spoken about that way.
Worst server ever! Disorganized is an understatement. Sat for 15 minutes before drink order was taken. Another 10 to get drinks appetizer on table 2 minutes before dinners arrived. Not busy enough for this performance. Ranch dressing all over OUTSIDE bowl. Smeared it on table with fingertips. Did not serve or remove dishes properly. Food was great. Server must need a break.
A lot of people.love thier bread sticks. I love thier salad. And my personal favorite dish is the chicken parmegian with angel hair pasta.
That Marian girl is so wrong (that Karen that left a review before me LOL). This Olive Garden is my safe space. My friends and I come here almost every week and we’ve gotten the same server (Peri) many times and she is everything to me. Funny, personable, timely, every time we come here and we get her I’m like THANK GOD. She needs a raise. I would sell my left kidney for her. Peri I love you and I hope u see this
We enjoyed the never ending pasta bowl but the most impressive part of the experience was the amazing customer service given by Johnny. Johnny may have been the best server we’ve ever had. He was extremely attentive and considerate, taking care of everything we needed before we even had to ask. Very friendly and made us feel at home.
Call me crazy, but still after so many decades I just love Olive garden. Their Alfredo sauce is amazing (Even though I only get it as a dip for the bread). I always order their zuppa Toscana and they have to be the only place that still serves Lavazza coffee! I'm also a sucker for ambience, and of course they've nailed that as well. If you're careful, you can get out of there cheap while sharing a meal with your significant other. Then on the other hand, if you're not careful, it could be pricey. Every Olive garden I go to is just as good as the last and I highly recommend the new one in Gainesville.
The food and service was great but yet the prices were a little expensive and portions are smaller but still enjoyed.
I have ordered chicken park takeout twice from here and both experiences were sub-par. The chicken was over breaded and over cooked with not enough sauce. There was way more chicken than noodles. For a $20+ pasta dish, you would expect better quality. We had to wait 30 minutes past the time our order was meant to be ready and found out they just overlooked ours.
