Love this little shop! Every time I go in, everyone is so kind and helpful. I got fitted for my first pair of ballet slippers here. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, enough so to compete with online retailers, and the service can't be beat.

Used this company for years and even drive 40 mins to get there. They never have a long wait to get measured and fitted for dance shoes. I have tried other stores and they don’t compare to the customer service at on your toes.

We love On Your Toes! I have brought both of my girls here for all of their pointe shoes and more since 2017, everyone is always so nice. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but so worth it.

We have visited On Your Toes many times over the years & we have always been greeted with such kindness and patience. They took their time helping us find just the right pair of dance shoes for each of our dancers (there are 5 dancers in my family) and we’ve never felt rushed. Sydney Schwartz has successfully been serving customers of the dance industry not only in Temple Terrace but the entire Tampa Bay Region. Sydney has ALWAYS been a class act in this business with her customers! There’s just something special about taking your child to be fitted for shoes by Sydney! She’s been doing this for decades!

My mom was a customer when I was a kid and I have enjoyed now taking my daughter to On Your Toes for her dance shoe/apparel needs. They almost always have what I need and it’s always such a pleasant experience. They take the time to get to know all their customers as well. My mom began taking to this amazing little dance store way back in the mid 80’s when I was just 10. Many years later I returned with my 2 yr old toddler as she began her dance journey. Fast forward many years later, again, I return with my 3 yr old granddaughter as she begins her dance journey. Ms. Syd and April always give exceptional customer service and go above and beyond to make sure every dancer has the right fit for their dance shoes and attire. I hope this little dance store stays open for dance generations to come. They are the absolute BEST in Tampa/Hillsborough County.

I have shopped at On Your Toes since I was a very young child! I was fitted for my first pair of pointe shoes here and every pair since. I even took my niece here when she started dance as a 2yo. I live out of state but still shop here for my dance needs. Huge selection. My 3yo daughter just started dancing and next time we are in town I will take her to shop for some leotards and fun dance items. She used my old dance bag that I bought from here when I was 5or 6! This bag is 30 years old

Called to see if they had a specific brand of pointe shoe that my daughter swears by and I couldn't find anywhere due to backorders at other places. They not only had it, they set one aside for me and held it until I could get there the next day to pick it up. I drove 45 minutes to get there so I greatly appreciated the hold, the time spent with me on the phone and when I arrived! EXCELLENT customer service. Would highly recommend On Your Toes for anyone searching for dance wear!

Was recommended by a current customer after a less than enjoyable experience elsewhere, and so glad I was. What a great experience. As a first time dance mom, the ladies here were such a pleasure to work with, explained the best way to care for my daughters’s gear, and overall just a wonderful energy. The prices I felt were fair, and their selection of inventory is impressive, as the prior store we’d visited felt like a hole in the wall and didn’t even have navy Leos, and really made you feel wrong. On Your Toes made you feel welcomed, appreciated and respected. My daughter and I both agreed the drive to On Your Toes is 100% worth the trip.

This is the best place to get quality dance gear in my opinion. It's not the cheapest, although they do have low shoe prices for beginner shoes. Much of their stock is imported from countries that specialize in ballet and the quality is very high for what you pay. The dancers are measured and fit for shoes, they have a small section of floor, bar, and mirror to try them properly and they keep many brands of shoes so if it's too tight, they just move to a different brand. My daughter normally wears a size 7 and her ballet shoes are an 8, her tap shoes are a 9 1/2, you just can't tell.this is not something you want to order online and an improper fit means injuries. It's a full service shop.
