15Very nice I'm hard to get and she had it on the first try. Everyone should do it really. If you've stubbed your toe, that hurts more than giving someone the chance to live.
Lovely staff and they have great camaraderie together so it makes it a pleasant place to donate blood.
I went to donate blood however my iron levels were too low. The staff/nurses/phlebotomists were so friendly and helpful though. I was extremely disappointed especially since my appt was 7am on a Sat. But the professional staff gave me tips on how to raise my iron levels. Definitely a place I will return to try and donate blood.
I donated 10 days ago and was given a $20 gift certificate that I have STILL been unable to redeem. Every other part of their website works except for the rewards page. How convenient. And on the page it states “ It is not necessary to contact us about the issue as our team is aware and actively working to resolve the matter. ” I really needed this money and I feel like I’ve been scammed for my blood.
I have donated for years without a problem but this place has ruined donating for me. I don't think they even want your blood. Every single time it is just a complicated, dysfunctional process. Most of the staff have no clue what they are doing. AVOID THIS PLACE!
Can be more organized.
People were waiting in the lobby without any check in. Please have a lookout on reception area also.
Alexus was very helpful. It was a great experience. Everyone must donate blood. Will come back.
As always, it was a great experience. Michael was very efficient and is a nice guy! I look forward to the day I am able to donate again. Thanks to you all.
Everyone here is so professional and kind. Dominique took care of me and was wonderful. More health organizations should be run this way.
I've been there twice and everyone is friendly, efficient and professional. Fantastic experience both times!
Had an appointment on 1-10-21 at one blood. They didn't tell me which building to go to. So i was 15 minutes late. The guy at the desk said there all full. Have to reschedule my appointment. There was one person donating in the room. I have the antibody for covid, and they been blowing up my phone to donate. I get there on a Sunday morning. And they tell me i have to reschedule my appointment? Not very happy with your with your appointment setting!
Oneblood is a great company! It's very rewarding to save lives. They truly care about leaving a positive impact and saving lives.
8/10/2020: This is for the plasma bus they have outside the building. I won't name anyone, but they should be able to look it up. I was there early, 25 mins from my house, to donate COVID plasma and I was there for 2.5 hours. Not only that, but they took my whole blood and blamed it on my muscles. They took the whole blood of the woman after me because "I've been doing this 20 years and I know it won't work;" she didn't even make an attempt. Furthermore, my sleeve was covered in blood and now it says online that I can't donate plasma for almost 2 months. I've called and have been given the run-around with no one returning my calls. Thanks for squandering the potentially life-saving proteins I have dwindling away in my body. 9/21/2020: I was finally able to donate again, and they totally redeemed themselves! This time I was able to donate in the actual building, and everything was smooth and everyone was courteous. Hopefully subsequent donations will be as pleasant.
Called and spoke to alexa who answered all my questions.gave blood same day.was treated like a vip hotel guest.great experience.
Back in June, 2020, I attempted to donate platelets. Apparently someone put something wrong in the computer and now it shows the earliest I can donate is 9/22/2020. I have called the local donor center 3 times, the 800 number twice someone called me back mid-June and said an advocate would be in touch with me. I haven’t heard from anyone.
It’s sad that due to One Blood’s error, I have been able to donate.
Just called to ask questions about donating plasma/platlets for coronavirus patients and not only was the stuff not able to answer my questions they were also rude and lacking any compassion! I will make sure I drive to the Tyrone office from now on to donate anything to save a life!
