Optimal Performance & Physical Therapy - OPPT University, Tampa FL

I highly recommend Dr Emily Jones from OPPT University. I have been to quite a few physical therapist and she is the absolute best! She is very caring, and knowledgeable in her field.she really listens and an addresses the patients concerns to whatever ailment they may have. I've been to other PTs before that aren't really motivated and will often put you off to a to an assistant or an intern, and will not follow up. She will not do that, she makes sure You understand each and every exercise and seems highly motivated towards your recovery! She is by far the best physical therapist I've ever been to, along with the whole OPPT staff!

Worked out for over a month and my shoulder is better now than before I injured it. Thanks Jason!

I was an orthopedic surgeon in north Tampa for many years and referred my patients to Paul for his excellent care. Now retired, I personally go to Paul with my own orthopedic problems and have improved greatly with his personalized, thorough, compassionate care in a cheerfully positive environment. I recommend him without reservation. He really knows what he's doing!

I have been with Emily for few weeks now. She's a Darling! This is my second round of rehabilitation here. The knowledge and treatments I'm getting are phenomenal. This place is what I call an extension of my home. Thank you all for the special treatment! I enjoy coming to my sessions.

After a car accident, I was referred to this place, and I am so glad that I came here. The staff is super friendly and they make it fun when you show up, never walk in to this place and had a bad day.

From moral boosting to making sure your body is making a serious come back. This team really knows how to make the experience of an injury turn to a positive one. My personal experiences with Dr. Nicole being my PT, she took every measure to make sure I was comfortable and confident in all of the exercises asked me to perform. Big dog Paul brings the energy every time you walk in you’re greeted with a loud cheer and almost standing ovation, getting my confidence back to Evel Knievel days. I will make a visit to check on the team. The team takes care of you like you are part of the family from day one to the last rep of your quest for recovery. Great staff, great environment, certainly blessed to have crossed paths with this team. Thank you very much for everything you did and all the smiles and jokes you left me with.

OPPT at the University Facility has been my go to for three separate problems. I have had three therapists and they all have been spectacular. Presently I am working with Jason and he has rehabilitated my ankle faster than I ever expected. They are all the greatest. It is a very comfortable and clean facility to attend.

I came in with a recurring knee/hamstring issue from running, and worked with Luke. He was very knowledgeable, provided great advice and feedback on the issues I was having, was great in being able to take my sometimes vague explanations and figure out the root of the issue. He explained the causes and treatment very clearly using plain language. He also made sure to check in at the beginning each appointment to gauge my progress and find out if anything else may be happening, and he was very personable to talk to during the exercises in appointments. I would definitely recommend working with him if you need help!

By far the best physical therapy office I have been to. The staff is very friendly, kind and they care about their patients and the outcome of your treatment. Fun atmosphere and very clean.

Luke was my physical therapist. When I came in I could barely lift my left arm. He came up with a plan of care. Each week, we seen improvements. Key is to do your homework given (exercises) at home as advised. Today was my last day. I can raise my arm

My family will be forever grateful for the care I received.

I was in for an Achilles problem and my therapist name Luke did an outstanding job of not only helping the issue physically but he also gave great understanding of the problem. This place truly has the best physical therapists. They all exhibit deep knowledge of a variety of physical issues and they work well as a team. If you are looking for a great place to rehab, I highly recommend OPPT.

Paul (the owner) is an awesome PT! I cannot begin to say how knowledgeable he is and how well he takes of his patients. My son is now 21 and has seen Paul for various sports related injuries over the past 10 years. Paul goes above and beyond! His staff is exemplary and everyone in the office is super friendly. Kim the receptionist/insurance person is wonderful and has never made an insurance mistake, scheduling is super easy too. As a healthcare professional myself, I look for quality of care and I cannot say enough about this OPPT location!
