Orange County Health Department reviews
18Very helpful staff on the 3rd Floor. They don't judge and are always friendly and eager to help. Doctor Solero is amazing. He helped me with all my needs and is very thoughtful and thorough. I recommend this Health Department to anyone needing ADAP/Ryan White Care. They are much better than MOL or any of the other Clinics. They have everything you need in 1 place. I love how CVS deliveres my meds to my home next day for free. Take pride in your health and apperance.
Be warned - if you make an appointment in the afternoon, they will close early even if they claim they “close at 5 p.m. ” I found myself in the lobby at 4: 50 with not a soul in sight. The building and parking lot are under construction and a complete disaster but don’t expect them to tell you that or include any information about it when you’re scheduling an appointment or in the confirmation emails you receive before your appointment. You’re guess is as good as anyone’s when you get there on where to go. Maybe you’ll find a security guard who’ll rudely ask in front of a line of people specifics about why you’re there, like the security guard did with me when he demanded I tell him what vaccine I was there to receive. A true nightmare scenario and experience.
Was a mostly good experience, as a government organization sadly efficiency is not a virtue but I got done what was needed in a reasonable amount of time. The majority of the staff members that I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Some of the property is under construction so for now the entrance it's not on 832 Central Blvd but on 807 Church st.right behind the main building.
Lots of free parking & centrally located near downtown Orlando. I made an appointment online for the monkeypox vaccine & they sent me an email confirmation. I arrived 15 minutes early & they took me in right away! All 3 staff I dealt with were courteous & professional, and they explained everything clearly. The building is clean & orderly and it was easy to find my way around. Great experience.
Vaccine was fairly easy to schedule online. The staff at the immunization were great; very friendly, helpful and professional. They made it very easy to set up the second appointment.
It would be nice as an LGBT+ community member to have access to a monkeypox vaccine. But course they are sitting on stockpiles of it and not able to get an appointment. Idiots
Pulmonary Div is great, Dr Arviras Team, Ivette and Office were great help to my our family.
0 stars. Myself and my pediatrician have both tried contacting OCHD for over 2 weeks now. Everytime we are met with a full voicemail. I currently live in another state and am not allowed to enter my child into school due to missing immunization records from this county.
Be prepared to wait for at least half of the day day if you decide to go here. They gave me a call saying that I just needed to come in, hear the results, pick up the medication, and go. I arrived. They didn't have enough seats in the waiting room so I had to wait outside for about 30 minutes. They let me go inside, gave me a number. They were not even calling the numbers in order. The wait was just ridiculous. The guy right next to me, which came in before me, fell asleep from wait for too long.
The worst WORST WORST LOCATION I EVER CAMR TO NO COMPASSION AND SO I PROFESSIONAL. The MEDICAL SYSTEM IN ORLANDO FLORIDA IS VERY POOR
If You thinking to come this place, try to think again, it’s terrible service
I had insurance, they took my information in the front desk, the reception lady even don’t know english very good and I want to do STD regular test, after they took my blood and everything, they told me that my Insurance not accepted there And I have to pay
They are the more terrible bad service I ever seen, the security guy and cashier came and told me to pay or they will send it to collections
They didn’t told me from the beginning that my insurance not accepted
Velma B. Was such an amazing help! She should be rewarded for taking such pride in her work and the community. Thank you for making my transition to this area easier Ms. Velma
If giving no stars was an option then I would’ve most definitely given none but due to the circumstances I’ll just settle with giving just 1. The staff at this location is beyond rude and self centered, there isn’t the slightest of customer service or customer attentiveness given. Questions are not answered directly, mask weren’t being worn nor were the practice or safe social distancing. I believe the CDC guidelines aren’t being applied. Overall the service here is quite awful. The staff is more concerned about eating lunch then getting customers in & out; needs to reevaluated as soon as possible.
Orange county health department was no help! I waisted 4 hours to have them deny me service! What a waist of tax payers money!
Called in to make an appointment to get a vaccine. From the phone to the reception and the nurse everyone was super nice and polite and I got my vaccine within 20 minutes
I just tried to figure finances for a obgyn check and called to see the Priceline of the appointment due to no insurance rn and I’ve never been to a health department ever (just trying to set an appointment!) Not only do I get the run around from both health departments on Raleigh Street and central which is bs but on top of that, When I told the lady what I needed at central office (Jackie) she kept trying to be funny and says slick rude comments which is so disrespectful! I have never had to feel so embarrassed in my life and I just needed my yearly check up! This is disrespectful and I don’t understand how they allow there employees to counteract with patients disrespectfully like that! Leave it to them I still would be calling back and forth between both offices trying to get a appointment set! I read the reviews and thought it was overrated but the way the company is represented by the employees who answered the phone was definitely garbage and I would have gave no stars at all but it’s not a option!

It's unbelievable how they handle the immunization in this county, you have to wait outside (in this weather) for 2,3 hours in order to get assistance so you kids can go to school. It's ridiculous how they treat the family's and kids who needs. No respect and care, I believe no one is getting paid to manage this situation.
