Orange County Tax Collector Scott Randolph - Downtown Office reviews
17Tried calling the Rossiland location at 8: 30 in the morning listen to all the prompts for about three minutes only to be told that the office is closed because somebody from your office please advise how can we speak to a human at the DMV?
Not impressed with Supposedly “Linda’s” the name she gave me service! No thank you! Oh and hopefully they won’t blame other people with their manipulation!
Horrible expierience me and my husband are orange county residents. I have been here since 2 30 pm it is now 3: 53 pm and i still havent been called. All we have to do is reinstate the license. Thats it. But we are put in the same category as regular drivers license. This shouls be a separate catagory from everything else since its the easiest. You pay the fee boom reinstated grab your receipt and go next person. This is why people hate orlando. There are to many people here and it takes an entire day just to get something so simple accomplished. Its ridiculous. Dont come here unless u have over 2 hours to wait.
Unfortunately I have to give a bad review based upon the sad customer service experience I've had/ The phone system is horrible. I've waited for a call back in the cue only to have it hang up on me and when I tried to get a new space in line and it only calls me back with the automated message, never connecting me to anyone after I have waited for an hour at this point. When I try to call your office for a simple question I have, it transfers me and then a busy signal starts - never connecting me to anyone. I just have a simple question to ask and can't find the answer online so need to speak to someone. This is ridiculous!
Fast! I’ve been to a few tax collector locations in Osceola and Orange and this was super easy, straight forward. I had an appointment and experienced no issues, unlike other locations with an appointment.
Long wait time, rude workers who mislead the customer, and customer shouldn't have to pay to park in garage closest to this location!
Mallory at window 11 was so amazing kind and helpful in anyway she could be no one likes going to the dmv but her customer service was delightful.
This is one of several locations to renew vehicle tags, make title transactions, and so on. Highly suggest getting in line via text and then show up. Parking is inexpensive in the garage which is a very short walk. I think I paid $2/hr. It’s very small inside and given the sensitive nature of some questions I wish there were more privacy or space between those waiting and such. The staff operate at a slow but steady pace. Sadly they don’t really have a caring or helping attitude toward customers. All said, it’s an easy in/out location if your transaction doesn’t require any special handling.
Same location 2 different process. 2 months ago they gave temporary paper license plate. 2 months later for another car they are saying they can’t provide temporary license plate at the same location. This shouldn’t happen on a government property
Would it kill any of the employees there to smile on occasion? I was there for over one hour, with an appointment time, and never saw anyone smile at a customer at any of the 10+ windows
People are nice.you can have text you when you are close in line.very convenient.ebony is super nice
Melissa helped me get a new tag and that sounds simple enough but I'm from out of town and there was a stop on my tag and she went way beyond to get everything done so I could get it back. A big thank you
Arrived at 445 pm, office closes at 500 pm, was told they was closed due to capacity. Look you shouldn't take a job in public service if you can't help the public. Scott Randolph needs to be removed from office if this is way of assisting the public. If you enter before 5 pm you should be served period even if employees make overtime. Biggest problem Politicians don't care about the public that put them in office. #GetScottRandolphout!
I had a great experience even though I got in the wrong line at first when a did get in the right line the wait was short and Ebony help me out tremendously she was sweet polite and fast
Got in line when the wait said it would be an hour and a half. 20 minutes later get a text update saying it’ll be 3 hours. At that point they would have been closed. About 30 more minutes later get the text saying my turn was coming up and to go on and head downtown. This should have given me 30 minutes to get there which was strange because it was already 5 when they were supposed to close. As I’m getting in my car not 2 minutes later I get the message saying they’ve called my number and gotten no response and that I would be pushed to the back of the line if I didn’t show up. At that point I gave up. This was the second time I was trying to be seen and I had to come in for a third time before I finally got what I needed. Thankfully the man who helped me was nice enough but this was by far the worst DMV I’ve ever been to.
They are brutal but efficient. With an appointment you can arrive right at your appointment time and be out within 15 minutes. Walk ins are over 2 hour waits. Everything is done by your phone number to text message you what line to go to and such. Read online what to bring and bring extra documents if you have them. I technically had all I needed but they asked for an extra address verification - I randomly had a piece of mail I picked up on the way there. If I hadn’t had it I’d be rescheduled. So bring any extras you might have and you will be in and out.
