Orange Technical College - Mid Florida Campus

While the programs are fantastic, communication is poor to non existent. I've been trying to get a hold of someone for a month regarding applications and have received no response through email or phone.

I went to this school and had many problems from the beginning. I went for modeling and simulation production.first my teacher left so I was basically learning to code c# all on my own for 3 months.second they mainly only use unity.all the major game companies use Unreal C+ so I wasted my time in unity. The teachers have no contacts for you after you graduate.my teacher showed us an internship and he didn't even know what it was for.basically you are not getting a job in the gaming industry.third the modeling and simulation design side can't even make humanoids, let alone make animations and they can't texture to save their lives.so you will be re doing alot of their work for them. I had to learn Maya so I could fix most of their assets for them.lastly Learn programming at home.you can literally get unreal engine and their are plenty of tutorials on how to do things on YouTube and discord can help you with anything.don't even bother going to this school (can't even describe the program for you all they say is to make things move). Take the debt and go to full sail or Dave school. Now I have to go back to school so I can try and get a real internship. I hope this helps you out because noone told me this when I joined

Rude staff. Tried calling and some woman was being extremely rude. If they dont care enough to moniter thier employees, they certainly wont care about teachers. Go to a different school. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Also orange tech dont reply to this rate with that bs “oh we are so sorry! Blah blah” save it. It wont help.

School doesn’t help when you have issues! Not a good place staff don’t care the low ratings you have is for a good reason thanks!

Ms. King in the Financial Aid office is PHENOMENAL! She took the time to thoroughly explain the financial aid process with my daughter who is fresh out of High School. She was patient and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter new each and every step to take next. As a parent, I breathed a sigh of relief to see the CARE this woman demonstrated. So far, so good! My daughter starts on the 12th! #fingerscrossed

I was a student here for digital cinema production. I learned a whole lot and developed a passion for audio editing while doing so. (As I’m typing this out i’m Working with my first client). The staff is extremely helpful and passionate about what they do and I’ll be forever grateful for what my teacher Mr. Gunter has taught me.

I have called over 20 times at different hours of the day for over a week and not once have they answered the phone.

I'm currently a student at Florida mid tech and the a/c has been broken for 3 weeks, we have been complaining to the front office since the problem has started and nothing has been done. I'm starting to think admin up front doesn't not care about their students. The classroom is uncomfortable to learn in because of how hot it is.

How can a technical school not update their website for summer hours?
and june 14th is not a friday when school close. June 15 is friday technical school? Other wise its a good school, just technically cant get the information correct.

And when you do reach one they don't know what they're talking about, and every person gives you a different response!
It seems like they don't want people to apply to their school! Very poor service

Got my GED diploma in less than 2 months! My teacher, Ms. Hall, was the best! Everything from enrollment to finishing the program was quick and easy. Now off to graduation!

They were wonderful registering my sin and the financial aid department and admissions were so patient

Went there today for there Cdl class A truck driving class. They meet at 1130am on Tuesdays the course is 8 weeks long. There is limited seating and the staff acts like there paying you to be there. The first thing they explain to you is IF you become a student we expect this and that. We are this. It's a public school with government funding and they are wanting to collect more so there goal is to get government qualifiers. Well for us that don't get goverment help this school isn't for us. I heard this women run her mouth for about 5 minutes and called I roadmaster. If you like the public school setting, then this school is going to be right up your alley. I personally would rather attend a private school with the attitude I paid them and their there to instruct and im there to learn. Nothing further

I would like to know how long would the adult diploma class be or the ged program be I'm very instead in start very soon.

DO NOT attend this school staff is a complete joke and so is the automotive service program they have. They are completely slow and even if your in you mid 20s will still treat you like your in 5th grade.

Its a amazing school I'm learning English there, but I'd like to reschedule my class please someone could be tell me how I could do that

The admissions lady, sounds like a robot on phone.
No personality, or interested in my questions.what so ever.
Why would I want to go here?

I did attend this school and it was a great experience from the counselors to the teachers I interacted with; There is a very helpful teacher at the AGE and GED that encourage and motivate the students for the best. In other words Excellent. Thanks for all you do by helping people of a wide range of ages with their educational development.

Web site says hours are 7: 00-9: 00
Today is not a holiday, yet nobody answers at 7: 22 am. Somebody isn't doing their job!

I haven't attend. I'm reading all the reviews. I'm going to bypass the negative comments and see for myself. I need to obtain my CDL class A to become a driver for FedEx.:) I'm about to upgrade my salary. I hope this is a good Campus.
