Orangetheory Fitness, Delray Beach FL

I was brought by my sister who’s a member from another studio and we arrived to the class 18 minutes early, but they wouldn’t let me take the complimentary class because I wasn’t there 30 minutes early for my first time. They care more about having time for the sales pitch than letting the class sell for itself. This corporate studio lacks personal touch and feels robotic. Try the F45 next door.

This studio is super clean and instructors are friendly. The classes go by fast and you get a great workout.

Excellent workouts. Each class is always different and challenging in a new way. The staff and trainers are friendly, caring and supportive.

I tried calling numerous times to tell them I was going to be late due to unforeseen traffic on Atlantic, that had me arriving 10 minutes late to class. Their phone systems were out, so no one answered the phone for 20 minutes of my drive. That is out of their control and out of my control, however when I arrived 10 minutes late (after sitting in traffic for 30 minutes) they did not allow me into the class due to corporate policy. I understand corporate policy however, they should have some flexibility with clients due to unforeseen situations such as extreme traffic or their phones not working. I did everything possible to advise of my situation, it's not my fault their systems don't work. I canceled on the spot. I did not feel appreciated as a client.

Lift 45 is a great strength training class and you will love Patricia who will coach you through it all! Highly recommend!

Stay away from this place, besides the boring work out and following instructions on the TV, they overcharge you! I have canceled my membership a month in advance and two months later, another charge! I called the store and they said it would be final charge.what? So do I have to cancel 2 months in advance? ! What kind of final charge worth of a full month is it!? Worst place ever!

I tried 5 Saturday’s in a row to call and join and NOONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! Very frustrating I’ll guess I’ll join somewhere else!

I have been an OTF member at west Delray since September 2020, and I can’t say anything but great things. Great atmosphere, great people, great workouts and most definitely great coaches. Highly recommend coming in and giving it a shot.

I've been to many OTF locations and the West Delray, FL location has some of the best staff and coaches. They are very accommodating to all members fitness levels, and are high energy and motivating.

I was a member here for over 1.5 years. When I cancelled my membership because I was moving, I gave more than 30 days notice, as required by their contract. Then, a month later, I received another payment processed for a full month ($170!). I called to discuss and Steve snidely told me that I didn’t cancel on time (which I clearly did) and there was nothing he could do. Terrible customer service. I had to dispute with my credit card. I’m not the only person/review that has had this same type of experience from this place.

The worst part is I probably would have gone to a new location where I moved to, but after this I will never go/recommend this place again.

I have been going to OTF for 9 weeks. I love the workout, the clean facility and the ability to visit any location. I live 3 minutes from the West Delray Location, buy often have activities in the Lake Worth area. The specific complaints have been the transparency of fees and penalties. Right from my first week I was penalized for mischeduling icident which is how I was informed of the cancelation prior to the day of class. Okay, no problem. Most classes are full week in advance so one must plan, however the app won't let me access my 8 classes until the day after i get charged so in order to plan ahead i was charged $15 to take a class the day my sessions renewed! Having two kids at schooling at home often zoom sessions interfere last minute and I am off running to class in a rush sometimes. Today I was told I couldn't enter my class because I was 7 minutes late. I was absolutely appalled. For $110 /month I should be able to take any minutes of any class that I pay for! Thats ridiculous. I called the Lake Worth location livid that I had to give up a class over 7 stupid minutes! They seemed surprised at that rule and also surprised at the lack of availability to let me reschedule another day at least. What money hogs this company must be to lose a customer over 7 stupid minutes I am so disappointed because the employees always seemed so nice and accommodating until now. I will find a different place to meet my fitness needs that isn't going to harrass a mom during pandemic schooling over a couple of minutes!

When I first moved to this area I was looking for a a cardio with weights type of class but that challenge me to go beyond my limits. Their classes are fun and effective.the teachers are super friendly specially Emily she made me feel welcomed. The studio is always clean. They also offer a heart rate monitor so that you can keep track of how hard you push.if you want to burn alot of calories.stay lean, burn fat and get a good cardio session this place os great.

I have been going here for years and the experience has been awesome. They have everything you could want in a gym. I recommend!
