Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, Clermont FL

I spent 2 nights in this hospital for an emergency issue two years ago and had the best care I could possibly think of. The staff, especially the nurses made my stay less traumatic than I thought it would be. 5 stars
I just now had major surgery at South Lake and that experience rates 5 stars again. Everyone from the valet attendant, admin clerk, nurses, my surgeon and the volunteer who pushed my wheelchair to my car treated me with the upmost professionalism and compassion. Surgery is never "fun" but I would not hesitate using South Lake Hospital for any future needs.
This is a top rate hospital.

The staff at the Orlando Health South Lake Hospital's Imaging Center are friendly and professional! They do all they can to make you comfortable.

The Orlando Health staff were very nice and friendly. When I got there, I was greeted by the ladies in checking and I was taken care of right away.

Caring friendly people. Special shout out to Omar in pre op surgery. Always checking to be certain I was ok or needed anything. Pt and ot are amazing too. Dr Snavely is amazing with wonderful bedside manner.

Staff was very caring, empathetic and professional and the environment seems smaller and more personalized than like the big one downtown

Outstanding in every respect can't say enough for the nursing staff on the 3rd floor as well as the support staff.

On 10/08/23, Shortly after 10: 00 am, I arrived via ambulance I was immediately placed in a room in the emergency department. The nurses and doctor performed an echocardiogram which showed that I was in AFIB, which I did not know I had. I was given various tests following this then transferred to another area of the hospital at 2: 20. The only complaint I have is during one of the tests I received, the individual who was performing the ultrasound of my heart applied pressure to my rib cage over my heart causing pain that I still have on 10/11/23.

Excellent! I was trasporte by wheelchair to Registration and to my test and back to the car. Very nice personnel:)

When I went t to the hospital yes I was treated but the one thing I did not like was when I was transfered to a room, 7 nurses were in the room confused on what IV's I had and where to put them instead of giving me what I needed they opened another port. (another catheter)
There was only one nurse there that was gentle and kind to me
Her name is Nereida. She is an over night nurse and made sure I had everything I needed and kept me pain free and comfortable.

My experience was awesome! Everyone was so kind and professional. Blessings to all of you.

I went to do a CT scan the staff there was very friendly and explained everything to me and looked to make sure my health was good before I left after having an allergic reaction to IV contrast. Which has happen in the past and I did take meds before test. Love the care they gave me!

Sent a message a few days ago BUT I give South Lake Hospital excellent reviews. Only problem is due to construction and parking.

My stay at South Lake Hosp was excellent. My nurses, Assistances, the nice lady that delivered my meals and the technicians were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was attentive, never in a bad mood or grumpy. They were always helpful, smiling, and looked like they enjoyed their jobs. Melissa and Lisa, my PT ladies were awesome too. The rooms were clean, only thing was the food, the salmon was very good but the green beans seemed like the had been taken directly out of the freezer to the plate, much too crispy but they tasted good from the only 1 I ate.
Overall a very good stay.

My husband received great care at this hospital. He enjoyed the food, and the friendly staff. Especially nurse Cameron. He helped you understand what we needed to do when he came home. Very helpful
