Osceola Council on Aging, Kissimmee FL

When I first used their services they were very kind and helpful. But two weeks ago I went for help and they told me they were going to call me and never did. I never got the help i desperately needed at the time. I’m afraid to go back and get denied. I am very disappointed because it was not that way when I first went for help. It left me with not being able to have a good holiday.

This is an Agency that used to help Senior Citizens not any more, when you call for Light Program or the Water Bill they don't answer or they gave you wrong information

ABOVE & BEYOND. My sister, Lonni Kasprzyk, initially called for the weatherization program (which was awesome)! Thanks, Wanda! Then she called Chip asking about the possibility of getting a ramp for the front stoop. A ramp was delivered & it is absolutely perfect! In talking with Guillermo, who has been to the house a number of times with the Council, Lonni expressed her concern about falling when using her walker & inquired about an upright walker. Less than 2 hours later, Guillermo (an absolute angel) came back with a beautiful upright walker. We all cried! What a blessing. Thank you all so much!

Staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. Plenty of resources available. Well maintained facilities. Plenty of parking.

I recommend this place to every elderly. It's like family there. They welcome you with open arms.

According to the site it’s always “lack of funds” despite the fact that the website gets updated constantly with changes to the date of when you can actually apply for rental assistance but when the day actually comes before you’re able to submit the application they announce they have no funding? ! How is this possible? Why sell the idea of assistance on a given day and when the day comes it’s untrue. Seems like someone is getting these benefits just not the Osceola county residents…just sad!

Amazing place just want to say thank you to an employee Diana Lopez I believe that was her name. She helped me and my family with the kua good neighbor assistance program. Everything went smoothly and she made the process run through without any issues. I’m very thankful of Diana she was able to help my family and me so we didn’t have our lights off. Just thankful and blessed with Osceola council on aging. Times I needed food and assistance thank you for being here. Only
Issue is the window to get all of your paperwork is so fast. I suffer from anxiety I just wish if we can get some extra assistance. Overall great place great staff thank you for everything!

If you don't have children you will not get any help in Osceola county I've had covid-19 twice been through two hurricanes I still was unable to get

The food pantry in Kissimmee/Saint Cloud is a blessing. Also they have emergency shelter for natural disasters, my grandparents stayed here for a week back in 2018-2019.

The assistance snd care provided I was fortunate yo meet Carmen Cherres an amazing caring professional person member of their team during a very difficult time in my life.
She has provided me guidance, suggestions crucial things I was not aware to help me deal with my present unstable difficulties God Bless and Cherres
