We asked for bread but the staff said it was old from this morning. I preferred if they had said we ran out. It would have been more believable. Bottom line the food is very good.

After a splendid meal two weeks ago we were very disappointed tonight. I ordered Veal Saltimbocca and the meat was so tough I had to ask for a steak knife. When I mentioned this to the waiter he spoke to the chef and came back with comments like it is made of thin slices and is supposed to be like that. My husband said his meal wasn't so great either. The eggplant was overcooked and the noodles so hard they weren't Al dente.
Nothing except apologies were offered.
The inside ambience was so loud from other tables we could barely hear each other.
Won't go there again

Liam was such an amazing server. If you go, he is worth requesting. He was very attentive and knew the menu. We even witnessed him accommodating an elderly couple on their way out.

The food was amazing, and it is worth going during sunset!

Good -a bit pricey! Update* - My wife got violently sick on the stone crab ravioli. I was fine with the lobster ravioli. For the record, both were good - zero funky taste. Service and atmosphere is great. AJ, stop and review the reviews and work with your customers, not against- sea food sickness is a real happening reoccurrence. Please heed this message! This is not a good thing! And hold the canned replies.

Had a great dinner with a beautiful sunset. Had the special, stone crab ravioli. Delicious. Nice to be away from the Marco busyness.

Visited on Easter for dinner. We had a reservation for 6 through OpenTable. The restaurant didn’t have any record of it despite us having emailed confirmation. The hostess gave us a hard time about being seated until her manager came out and told her to seat us. Service was off putting and rude. Drinks were slow to come out. The food was mediocre. We tried several things. Margarita Pizza: greasy and average at best. Meatballs: hard as a rock and way over cooked. Beef Short Rib: the server tried to talk me out of ordering this I don’t know why, the short rib was pretty good, tender, the gnocchi not so much, it was watery and was made with too much potato so it had a bad consistency. Mista salad: was all lettuce, literally had 2 small roasted red peppers and a tiny block of cheese. The bone in rib-eye: tried to order this medium well, the server did not like that, tried to first convince us to order the osso bucco, but that’s not what we wanted so he then convinced us to get it medium and it came out purple on the inside, definitely medium rare and had to send it back. Frutti Di Mare: pretty good, seafood was a bit overcooked. Lasagna: pretty good. Cacio e pepe: pretty good. It is extremely overpriced for the quality of food. For “homemade from scratch” Italian food it was all pretty average and we are an Italian family. It was actually insultingly bad. The lack of competent, courteous and welcoming service on a holiday was enough though to make me never come back. I am sure this restaurant is still in business due to the lack of food options in the area. A lesson reinforced today: just because it’s “homemade” or “made from scratch” doesn’t mean it’s any good, or worth the price for that matter.

We have been to the Resturant four times over the past year and a half thinking it may become better. Our last visit the food was better but the service was terrible. The waiter was unwelcoming and had a poor presentation personality wise. We have had better food and service at lower end restaurants in the area. I can’t and would not recommend this Resturant to any of our friends. It’s unfortunate because this use to be a great place for French dining.

I never write reviews but we had such bad experience I feel compelled to write this. This restaurant has great water views and good food but service was worst we’ve ever experienced and we eat out 4-5 times a week. Waiter was actually rude and took what should have been a pleasant birthday dinner celebration and made everyone uncomfortable with his rude responses to what were very normal requests in ANY restaurant let alone a higher priced Italian restaurant.
First request:
We asked for 2 separate checks upon ordering - waiters response: “no-our policy is one check and you can give me 2 cards and I’ll split it down the middle. ” (OK obviously if people are asking for separate checks, it is bc they don’t want to split down the middle bc one party plans to order unequal amounts of food or drinks.
Second request:
Instead of spaghetti can I have ANY other type of pasta at all.
Waiters response “no”. It is our policy that we allow no substitutions. When my aunt said but I really don’t like spaghetti can I have linguini or any other pasta with my meal - waiter snapped and said rudely “No I suggest you order something different bc your dinner comes only with spaghetti” so she had to order different meal.
Next request. Can I have a cup of decaf coffee with my dessert? Response - no we don’t carry decaf.
These were the highlights - point is everyone was actually uncomfortable and meal was ruined. I would never go back again - service was more than poor it was actually rude and the “policies” are ridiculous when you are spending $45-$50 per entree.

Our server was lovely, but we made a reservation for an outdoor table and were denied, the snapper special was overcooked, and the whole thing was overpriced.

We really enjoyed a lovely dinner here. Service was very good and attentive. The staff was very friendly. Food was very good and fresh. Beautiful spot on the water in a fish house atmosphere. Don't miss this place.

We had 5 couples for dinner and we could not get seperate checks? This is only restaurant that this has ever happened?
The final check was incorrect and very unsettling?

Chairs wet and drip from overhead coming down. Fly in water and fork was caked with melted cheese. Cod was below average large portions but no flavour. Waiter not very friendly. Bread old. Best was the activation of bug spray right over our table - happened a few times - when we questioned waiter he told us it was safe just citronella - actually was such a mist I could hardly see the person across from me and it covered our entire table including the food on the plates. No offer of pepper or added cheese on pasta- no one asked how the food was. A nearby boat was starting up so there was strong diesel fumes. One of my guest said it was their worst Italian meal that they ever had - including the appetizer, main and dessert.

Do not attempt to eat here! We were a group of 12 people looking for a place to eat lunch. We called the restaurant and there was no answer. Five minutes later, we received a call back (we had not left a message) and we asked if they could seat a group of 12. They said yes so we headed that way. As soon as we got there, we were rudely greeted by a male waiter who told us to wait by the door and not to go inside the restaurant. Mind you, this is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant with prices to reflect this. We waited for the rest of our party to get out of their cars and got seated outside. From the moment we started asking usual questions (example - if they had kid offerings/menu), the waiter was rude. He said that they only served what was on the menu. No other options. We asked about a sauce similar to Alfredo, same rude response. We also asked about splitting the check and once again he rudely answered "no". We decided not to spend our money there. We got up and left. As we were leaving, the waiter said that he did not work for free and that we needed to pay for the tap water. What? That's crazy. When my husband said that we were not paying for tap water, the waiter said a few choice words to him. Bad words! There were kids present. How can a fine dining restaurant have staff that swears to customers? We will never go back. It was an awful experience and we didn't even get to order to review the food. This waiter should not be working at a fine dining restaurant. We ate at Mangoe's Dockside Bistro and had a wonderful meal. You are better off going to a casual restaurant with exceptional service than trying to spend twice the amount for rudeness and incompetence.

I ordered the short ribs and it was nothing but fat. As I removed the fat and began piling it onto my salad plate, there ended up being a substantial mass of disgusting fat. There were no more than a couple of mouthfuls of actual meat. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said he would speak to the chef. A few minutes later, he brought the check for the full amount and said nothing. We basically paid $46 for a plateful of fat. Aside from the intolerable meal, the service was unprofessional, inexperienced and slow. We had a reservation, but they seated us at a table in the direct sun. When I expressed my concern, they lowered a windowed “rain curtain” which had a 12-inch canvas border around it. They used the bottom of the border to shield the sun. It had to be lowered ever so slightly so that the canvas border lined up with the sun glaring on the dining guest. As the sun began to set, we asked a passing waiter to lower it again. He said he can't keep coming back every five minutes to lower the curtain! Perhaps they should invest in a shade that actually blocks the sun, or at least inform the customer they will be in direct sun throughout their meal. The person at the table behind us was experiencing the same problem. He finally got up to lower the curtain himself. After we ordered drinks we waited quite a while for our order to be taken. Once we ordered our meal, there was another long wait. With the hot sun beating on us, we were anxious to be served. The table ahead of us told their waiter they never received their salad. A couple of minutes later, their entree was served and they requested their salad be canceled. Just then, their salad appeared, which they declined. I assume there are some menu items that are good, but the beef short ribs is not one of them. If they can’t get it right, then take if off the menu. Unprofessional service, unacceptable meals and uncomfortable seating will probably not sustain this restaurant. We live in the Naples area and there are hundreds of excellent restaurants with quality food and service, and we will continue to patronize them.

The restaurant is nice and the food is good. Of course I'm getting to a but in the review. I'm not that familiar with Italian wines so I asked the waiter for some help. I ordered an $85.00 wine that was decent but when I went on my wine app and took a picture of the bottle the wine (Monsalaia Maremma Toscana 2019) it showed up at $17.99. I then Googled the wine and I can buy it for $14.99. I don't mind a restaurant to at least double the price but this made me feel stupid and ripped off.

Charming Bayside restaurant. Beautiful sunset views. Italian menu and food is fantastic. Bit pricey.but worth it. Our parry of 3 had the branzino, carbonarra, and Chilean sea bass.all three were perfection. Place is small so make sure you book reservation.and if available ask for outside table!
