Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant reviews
18The service is always great. The staff is very friendly and food is served quickly. I visit on my hour lunch break and always have plenty of time to enjoy my food.
As a local in the area i would love to write a good review but every time we order take out there is an issue.multiple times they have left out whole entrees from our order.taking my business elsewhere
Your favorite simple classics but SO good. Very nice staff, not crazy busy on a Friday night but definitely nice enough for a date night
I myself have never had Cuban good before. But while on vacation I wanted to try it. Well the food was amazing. We ordered one appetizer The empanadas and omg! We couldn’t decide so we ordered three different meals and shared them between us two, the food was amazing! And our waitress was so nice and helpful! A must go while down in Fort Lauderdale
Visiting Ft Lauderdale and wanted a good Cubano and was not disappointed at Padrino's. Thinly sliced meats were mounted high in a soft Cuban roll lightly grilled with perfect crispness. Picadello Empanadas were great appetizers. Service was great by a very attentive staff and very good suggestion on mojitos that were quite refreshing.
Service was great. We started with ham croquetas and chicken tostones.
Had the lechon asado with arroz moro and yuca. Everything was great.
Great Service. Good Food. Good portions. Had the Churrassco. At $17.00 (Lunch Menu) would get again, but at $27.00 (Dinner Menu) not so sure.
Excellent Food and Great service! La Vaca Frita and the garlic bread was awesome. If your looking for a good Cuban restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. Padrino’s is where it’s at.
Best meal this trip to Fort Lauderdale. An absolute hidden gem. Timothy was awesome, this restaurant dates back to 1970s.
Sadly I didn’t take photos of everything I was too busy eating.
AMAZING PERIOD!
Food was absolutely delicious. We were amazed at how quickly everything came out. Waitstaff was kind and attentive to our needs. The flan is by far the highlight - it has the best creamy texture without being too heavy or toó gelatinous. Highly recomend
I’d like to share that this restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars. Timothy our host was attentive, polite and gave the best recommendations. We’ve returned twice during our vacation stay for the food and hospitality. Highly recommended for a great dining experience.
Excellent service! I had the steak sandwich with fries, the sandwich was just ok for me and the fries were warm. My wife had the mango shrimp salad and loved it. We both enjoyed the garlic bread.
Absolutely delicious! Nice, updated ambiance. Friendly service. Food came quickly. Very reasonable prices. Family friendly.
Padrino's was delicious! Definitely worth the visit! The wait staff is fun and super helpful with selecting great dishes from the menu. The drinks were strong and super tasty. The empanadas were amazing with the sweet salsa. All of the dishes were incredible and the atmosphere was awesome too! If you're in town definitely stop by!
This was delicious! We got a Cuban sandwich with bread that was perfectly baked and really good ham. The French fries were perfectly crispy. Arroz Relleno had amazing rice and the chicken was sandwiched nicely inside. The side of friend plantains was a perfect compliment. I also enjoyed the black beans on the side, be sure to get that!
Adrino's Cuban Cuisine is a small, having about 6, family oriented restaurant chain specializing in Cuban cuisine. In many ways I can't help but comparing it to the Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine chain which also has restaurants within the area. The food offerings and the history behind how these restaurants originated are substantially the same. Though a tough call for me to make, if I had to choose one over the other, I'd go with Padrino's.
Padrino's has a plaza mall location in what was formerly the Melting Pot. The interior and general décor however has been completely redone and changed. Everything is bright, spotlessly clean and I found their staff to be exceptionally well trained, friendly and attentive.
For my meal I order a glass of their red sangria along with a churrasco done rare. I found the sangria to be good with a clean fresh fruity taste but I was particularly impressed with the skirt steak of my churrasco. I had ordered it rare and it came perfectly done. Also, as skirt steaks go, it was particularly well trimmed with all of the excess fat removed and their homemade chimichurri freshest in taste; best ever. Likewise the side of sweet plantains were also really exceptional. Overall for $23 a real bargain for what I had.
First time here. Was craving Cuban food. The Ropa Viejas was excellent. Service was good. No complaints. Staff was pleasant and made sure we had what we needed. Will go back
I was hoping to have a great meal here with my family, but I didn’t. The “Moros y Cristianos” (Moro), was tasteless, made with a very inexpensive rice and no condiments. The Ham Croquets were very good and so was the Churrasco. The Yellow Plantains had been cooked for a while. Our waitress Adriana was excellent.
