Palacio Inn Motel, Hialeah FL

This is the most disgusting hotel i have ever been in and they got crackheads fighting in the front of the hotel it don't get no more ghetto than that

Not very far from airport. Very quiet area for some rest during a long layover. Not expensive room rates

I recommend going to another hotel. The swamp cooler was not sealed to the wall, and I was bitten all night by mosquitoes. I've seen a couple of small roaches in my room. It was difficult to unlock the door to my room, I had to wiggle the doorknob and turn the key in the opposite direction. When I checked out, the manager asked for the television remote control, which they did not give me when I had checked. He then started repremanding me that I should have asked for it, but I don't watch much television.

I am often a low budget motel type of guy so I'm used to places with no extras.
The Placacio does have a mini fridge by that's where the extras end and the negatives begin.
My 1st disappointment was when I found out that there is no airport shuttle or cruise port shuttle as advertised.
The check-in desk clerk is behind a glass wall with a tray that slides out to put your ID.
I see that as a statement about the neighborhood.
It appears to be a very old building that has had multiple repairs that don't really fit together.
It has many rough edges. The room widow curtain didn't fit and was falling down.
The bathroom sink faucet sprayed in many directions.
The bathtub appeared so dirty that I thought it would take sand paper to clean.
The AC/heater was very old, very loud and the buttons were very worn but they worked.
I saw a bug run across the nightstand. So I opened the drawer to find more bugs.
I opened the mini fridge to find bugs running around. I felt like I didn't want to touch anything.
I didn't want to stay there for the 2nd night of my reservation and a refund was refused.
If I could assign a negative star rating I would.

The hotel rooms need improvement but are clean one microwave for the entire hotel. There's no ice machine.

Only gets 1 star because 0 is not an option. Sticky dirty floors, smelled like vomit. Roach ran across the bed and I think I saw a chalk outline of a body on the walkway in front of the door. Didn't stay, cut my loss and left.

Really old rooms, smelled like pee and cigarettes… bathroom wouldn’t flush, no outlets for my phone to charge that worked, really sticky floor. We asked to see the room before entering and they refused.

Horrible, I was there and there was even a crime at 11 am. The rooms are very ugly, all old and very bad smell, $500 a week and you don't have any. Those conditions, I do not recommend to anyone, many drug users and many problems, bad smell in the rooms, incredible.

I do not recommend this place at all, very dirty and they even smoke marijuana, there is a tremendous stench, it is a shame, the owner does not make that place nice.

Nasty, dirty, they had a dirty mirror up in the ceiling. That’s all you need to know. Please avoid this place.
