Palencia Dental, St. Augustine FL

Dr. Kinsey's staff is very professional and friendly. They know their jobs and do so. Also the office is sanitized all the time. I feel comfortable going to this office.

obviously had the same TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
that we KNOW! DO NOT GO HERE. AT ALL COST!
Unless you have $100,000.out of pocket to spend.these
unprofessional sorts don't like your "looks"! No Cleanings. No Cavities.

I just moved into the Palencia neighborhood and was looking for a new dentist for a teeth cleaning. What I got was so much more. When I first scheduled an appointment for a teeth cleaning, I had no idea that Dr. Kinsey does "bite therapy" to fix overbites as well!

I was so happy to finally find a dentist that understands comprehensive care and focuses on what I as the patient am concerned about. The entire staff is very helpful and engaging. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The office is very well designed to accommodate for your privacy and you definitely do not feel like your rushed or just another patient.

As a new patient who has had extensive dental work done in the past, I was extremely impressed with the entire team and the treatment I received. I was immediately made to feel welcomed and the level of care and professionalism was exceptional.

Dr. Kinsey and her practice team are exceptional with their knowledge and expertise in medical dentistry, aesthetics and patient care.

Dr Kinsey is a wonderful dentist! She takes an interest in each patient. She understands my needs and concerns with my dental plan she explains treatment options and how to get the best results.

The staff is an extension of this doctors attention to detail, and caring. I am new to the area and so glad to have found this Dentist who is trained to take care of ALL my needs.

I rate this dental office four stars on friendliness and attention to detail. The staff and the doctor are like talking with family.

I’ve observed this dentist “Dr. Kinsey” outside of her office and she is very arrogant and condescending, therefore even though she is one of the few dentists in the Palencia area, I choose not to do business with her.

I can't say enough great things about Palencia Dental! The doctors and the staff are all absolutely wonderful. Like most, going to the dentist isn't something we look forward to but everyone there really helped to ease my mind and everything was just fine. Very clean office, nice and new, friendly and happy staff, and an overall great experience so I highly recommend them.

My experience with Palencia Dental and their wonderful staff was nothing but EXTRAORDINARY! Dr. Kinsey gives the best care and shows compassion. The staff is very friendly including my hygienist Nicole. I was treated like family and that is what makes Palencia Dental beyond exceptional!

Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. My kids love going to see Nicole to get their teeth cleaned! Convenient and minimal wait. Easy to get scheduled. Would highly recommend.

I have spent a lot of time in Dr Kinsey's dental chair and can honestly say that after each visit I come out feeling more positive about the practice and their expertise. They are a delightful group. Not only first class at what they do, but caring wonderful people who I now count as friends.

I have been seeing our hygienist Nicole and she is awesome! Very professional and friendly. I never leave with my mouth feeling as if a MAC truck went through it, like I have from other hygienists. We love Nicole!

I have followed Dr. Kinsey around her practice (building her business) ; she is the best dentist I have ever had! I have went to many dentists before her, some good & some horrible. Once I found her skills & knowledge were always up to date, her techs well trained, and her personality exceptional, I was hooked. I have not wanted to use any other dentist, ever.

With a mouth full of receded gums due to gingivitis and old silver fillings from adolescence, faced with replacing or crowning a half dozen teeth, I was what Seinfeld comically labeled an "anti-dentite. " Then I visited Palencia Dental. Jennifer expertly evaluated my situation and we came up with a game plan. I've had a wicked cross bite that had gone uncorrected and still wasn't willing to be an adult with braces. The staff understood and Nicole proceeded to gently scrape my gums, and get me excited about a water pick. Dr. Stephanie and Sonja gingerly crowned teeth and everyone understood that I would be postponing the braces. Fast forward a year and a half later, and the silver is gone! My gums are as healthy as a 48 year old former smoker's can be and I thought I was ready to be a brace face. I went through the entire braces evaluation with Marcia and Liz. Nicole, the caring hygienist helped me through the hour long preparation of pictures, spacers and molds. I signed a contract and prepaid a hunk of cheddar to get a sweet discount.
Then I had second thoughts. The spacers were so uncomfortable and I started to have doubts about my financial situation. I became uneasy with my decision. So I backed out. The next morning I popped in the office to tell them I needed more time.
Liz was AMAZING. She said to take my time. She said to pray about it. She reminded me it was a very big decision and not to rush. Liz removed my spacers and put a request in to the accountant to refund my pre-payment. I am even more confident of choice in dentists. Thank you to the entire of staff of Palencia Dental! I will see you soon)

VERY BAD! Only out for money. The insurance person is very bad and not honest. We went to this dentist for a few years. When we started we were in network. As time past the dentist become out of network. No mention, EVEN when quoting work done. Very bad of us to trust this dentist office but never had anything like this happen so you do build a TRUST. Do not with this facility. Also had some work done that in 3 weeks would have been covered by insurance. Do you think told that. NO! So not covered. Talking 3 weeks. They do this everyday. People are busy like us. Yes, maybe we should double check everything but again you hope to built a trust. I think the most important thing for them is to be friendly. That they are for sure and make the patient comfortable. All good BUT being honest and helping the patient thru insurance and procedure NOT! If you have money to waste go here.

Dr. Stephanie and Marcia and their entire Team are VERY professional AND compassionate. They are very involved with non-profits in the St Johns County Community and clearly love their work and our community.
