I always get my eyebrows done at Palermo Aesthetic with Ashmara or Frances (they both do amazing). Yesterday I passed by Palermo Aesthetic and there was no one there, so I went to Palermo Beauty Salon to ask if they knew if someone was available at Palermo Aesthetic to get my eyebrows done, so one of the lady’s said they were busy attending clients but Mariela (I think that was her name) could do my brows. At first I was a bit nervous because it was my first time doing my brows with her, but I said let’s give it a try. Every time I get my brows waxed they usually start by applying wax, this time, the lady started applying some type of tint to my brow without asking or letting me know. I then asked if that was something permanent because I never get my brows done this way, and she said she always like to apply color before waxing. During the waxing, she was not being gentle at all! After she was done with the first eyebrow, she went ahead and applied ALCOHOL on my brow. It burned so bad my eye started tearing! Then, she was blowing all over my face to “help” with the burning sensation. When she did the other eyebrow, she did not use any color or alcohol (I guess she got nervous). When she was done, they looked a bit different because one was darker than the other. The brows itself look nice and the shape looks really good, but not being gentle plus applying alcohol is a 0 star for me. My eye felt really sensitive all day, then when I woke up the next day, this is how it looks now. Very disappointed! I would get my eyebrows done with Frances or Ashmara next time.

This salon is great and my stylist dis an amazing job on my hair. I walked out a whole different person!

My daughter got her haircut done. She loved it and it was done nice.
However, i do not speak Spanish and the girl at the desk was not forthright about pricing. Telling me a child's haircut/wash would be 20 to 50 dollars. So I asked just for a haircut and wash what would it be. She said 20. They charged me 50.
I did not make a scene and I did not say anything. But I'm upset that I was told one price and charged different. As well as not having a full price list available to know what's happening. 50 for a kid cut and wash is expensive. I would've paid 30. But 50 is overcharged.

Mariela was excellent and very fast. He gave life to my hair and gave me a spectacular cut. I recommend it.

I went in very upset cause of a previous styles work but hariels if I’m not mistaken her name fixed it up and worked her magic im very happy with the new outcome definitely recommend for cuts, wash, blow dry an hair straighten

Had to cut my hair after color damaged and burned my hair. She did a bad uneven haircut as well.

Update, as soon as I wrote my review I was contacted by the stylist and she apologized. Crazy that the response to a bad review is that it’s a scam or that they have no record of service. Very disappointing.

Best place! They are great very friendly and helpful. I was 9 months pregnant and wanted to make a big change they helped me out big time. Then a month later my 4 yr old got her safety Scissors and cut up her hair. They saved her hair big time, she didn't feel scared because they didn't make her feel bad, nothing negative. Love this place and the people!
